Was already planning on betting the Thunder, but looks like there's an outside shot at KD making his season debut - guess that's what the hold up on the line is.

Sounds like Big Kev - Kevin Durant is back tonight.

Should be a big shot in the arm for the Thunder.

Pelicans been playing like shit lately too.

If Ibaka can do a job vs Davis on the defensive end, great chance OKC can come away with the W.

Kevin Durant is getting closer to his return to NBA action for the Oklahoma City Thunder after participating in a full practice Monday, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
There is still no official change in Durant's status, says Thunder head coach Scott Brooks. The reigning MVP underwent surgery for a fracture in his right foot.
Oklahoma City upcoming schedule includes dates at New Orleans Tuesday, Philadelphia Friday and Detroit on Sunday. The Thunder are 5-12 straight up and 9-7-1 against the spread this season.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst says the plan is for Thunder forward Kevin Durant to make his season debut Tuesday against New Orleans as long as he makes it through the shootaround without any issues.

I'll post any further news it updates all day but one hour they're playing then there not. So don't kill the middle man

Cleveland should roll tonight, though I hate going against the Bucks, so maybe skipping it.

First game back for KD... Wouldn't rush to bet on the Thunder, especially as road favorites.

Denver lost twice against Portland and now play at home and then go to a three games road trip to the East. I think they have this one circled in red...

Curry is a ? for tonight's game and if he is out, Magic +13 got nice value.

In Sacramento, it's very simple. If Cousins is playing, take the Kings, if he is out - take the Raptors

Is it me, or the lines are really tight lately?

Books getting a handle on things as is to be expected.

I laid for 1 unit with Dallas plus 2
I laid .5 a unit OKC ML.
I actually watched most of the Suns last game.
Partial observation Green seemed on drugs seriously. He took a running 3 shot and laughed as a partial example. I do expect him to play much better today. Bledsoe may have been on something as well. In the first half he seemed to have real touble just moving around. He went 5 of 14 as well as 5 fouls and 6 turnovers.
At Denver 4 of 14 3 turnovers. No idea what Hornacek has said to him but mortally sure Dragic has said a lot. My sense based on reading is that the team has taken a deep breath and may start playing well again but a no bet for me.

celts 1h again.....until it doesn't hit i guess....got a feeling that tonight is the night it doesn't

not sure why everyone loves okc....durant first night back and on the road....lot of negative variables

scrappy bucks getting dd....cleve starting to click....so i think cleve or nothing....maybe a 2nd half cleve play if numbers are right

nets jump out at me for some reason....don't know why....probably because the knicks suck and it's an intown rivalry

May be on it myself. Celtics are normally a first half bet at home not the road. That said today is Tuesday and that has been a disaster for Atlanta at home 1-9 ATS last 10 and Atlanta plays at Miami tomorrow. After losing 9 in a row to Miami, this year they are 3-0 vs them so some action here is reasonable.

Have you watched the Pelicans over the course of the past week though? Obviously Gordon being hurt doesn't help, but other than the win against the Jazz when Davis threw in 40+, this team is quickly being exposed as a pretender. Meanwhile, the Thunder have been starting to put it together - throw in a healthy Westbrook and (possibly) Durant, and we're talking two teams rapidly trending in opposite directions. Doesn't mean the tables can't be turned for one night (although the Thunder being 14-2 SU and 12-4 ATS against the Hornets/Pelicans suggests probably not), but I'll take my chances against a team so low on depth that they need to start Austin Rivers, and essentially a one man offense that should be neutralized just enough against the combination of Adams/Ibaka.

I see what you mean hugh....since gordon went down (3 games) the pels have averaged 86 ppg and davis has been carrying the o all year (he's pretty good) so i can envision okc watching tape and saying (simply)....stop davis and play good offense and we should win....that coupled with okc losing 6 of 7 proir to their 2 game win streak and you can see a sustained effort by okc....appreciate your input (and your music)

I would like to contribute to the discussion but i have been so freaking bad....

This is what i got -
Nelson is a go for mavs tonight...

Some interest in Bucks. Read what Divol said---. Milwaukee gets back Zaza Pachulia one of their big men for this game. This season after a loss of 10 to 19 they are 4-0 ATS 3 of which were on the road and in fact are 7-1 ATS after any loss.
Cleveland after this game has a day off and then plays in sequence Knicks and Toronto both of whom have beat them at home this year. refs are 1-5 for 10 or great favorites.

Well, I think we're all relatively mature enough around here to realize that stuff happens on a night to night basis (ie. you can cap a game until you're blue in the face and have all the trends on your side... and still come out a loser) but, honestly, the Pelicans just aren't that good of a team. Look at the last three games where they put up 80, 91, 89, then realize they put up 28 and 36 in the 1H of their past two games, and are averaging 18.2 points per quarter if you throw out the highest scoring quarter of each game.

Stop Anthony Davis (or at least contain him) and you're almost certainly beating the Pelicans, because Lord knows Austin Rivers isn't giving you anything (I mean literally nothing at all), and Tyreke Evans can be counted on to take one ill advised shot after another. Plus that bench is D-League quality at best.

Like I said, doesn't mean they can't pull off the win, but think I'd sleep a lot better if I lost with the Thunder as opposed to hoping the Pelicans show up for a change.

Good luck and thanks BJ.

Babbit starting at small forward for the Pels tonight. How does KD not beast ? Babbit would have a hard time guarding some dudes here at CTG.

Doug McDermott (knee) will not play on Tuesday

J.R. Smith (flu-like symptoms) is out Tuesday night.

Coach David Blatt said he's starting Anderson Varejao at center Tuesday.

Kyrie Irving PG
Shawn Marion SG
LeBron James SF
Kevin Love PF
Anderson Varejao C

Brandon Knight PG
O.J. Mayo SG
Giannis Antetokounmpo SF
Jabari Parker PF
Larry Sanders C

Jrue Holiday PG
Tyreke Evans SG
Luke Babbitt SF
Anthony Davis PF
Omer Asik C

P.J. Tucker is starting over Marcus Morris for Tuesday's game against the Pacers.
Isaiah Thomas (ankle bruise) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Pacers.

Roy Hibbert (ankle) is set to play against the Suns on Tuesday.

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) will try to play in Tuesday's game even though he is not 100 percent according to coach Mike Malone.

Will be on the Suns very likely next game. The Anti Suns Curse trend is very strong.
