I like sa....unload on okc...ha ha....seriously can't see how okc can be considered in the same conversation....if sa tries they cover

gsw will keep the pedal down....coming off a spanking....pels banged up including davis...will prob play gsw and now as line will go up

sac at home against a team they can roll....line too high for me but wouldn't take the points....minn scheduling tee times

clips laying 17....funny....they will probably cover but laying 17 not for me....will play at half if i can get a decent number

Its possible that the practical bet here is Minn. Sac is a TERRIBLE favorite and has a revenge game tomorrow at Utah. The next day Minn is at Portland which could get very ugly GS also makes sense. Atlanta is 7-1 over on Tuesday. Tough day Would guess Spurs play a slow game if possible today facing Houston tomorrow.
 
GSW can hand pick their rival in the first round. If I'm Kerr and the Warriors, I would prefer to play the injured Thunder and not Pelicans, so can easily see them playing really hard.
On the other hand, Pelicans each game have many minutes when they play really well. If they can have 35 - 40 of them - they can win this one SU, not only ATS.

Agree with the Spurs, Thunder are a mess right now. They are trying, but after few great results, reality is starting to catch up with them.

Atl can beat the Suns, who simply stopped playing it appears, but this is a game where no result will shock me.
 
One thing that really worries me about the Spurs is that fact that they play Rockets tomorrow. A win and they suddenly within one game from second place and division title.
 
Taking spurs first half and game minus pts for 2 units each. Okc have kings pacers and trailblazers next with timberwolves being their last game. With pelicans playing gsw today okc can afford to rest/lose today and worry about winning their next few games which should be easier then tonight's. Spurs are a team that this time of year will continue to winning do they can carry momentum into playoffs. Even if their big 3 play limited minutes their bench could still dominate.
 
Damn locked in spurs early today and saw line dropped from 7.5 to 6. Has anyone been ruled out for rest or did okc just get pounded.
 
Did you see the first 6 minutez of the game? Okc should have been up by 10, missed 5 lazy layup attempts..

not taking anything away from the spurs, but if you just saw the score or stats most would say wow the spurs.... Instead of wow the thunder
 
Would love to see rox vs spurs in 1st rd, spurs would lose in 5 ( if rox bigs are healthy)..

Bold statement but there is no denying the Rockets are the only threat to the Spurs this postseason. The mini-series between the 2 teams starting tomorrow night will tell us something.

The obvious mismatch is in the coaches..

though rox defensive coach has done well with the team (name escapes me)
 
Spurs will kill rockets in a series. Better coaching and they play some of the best fundamental basketball out of any team.
 
Rockets won't beat the Spurs. Spurs play fundamental basketball and won't allow any streetball. Team defense. No doubt Harden will have a huge impact on the series, but POP/Parker/Duncan/Leonard will be too much.

Who plays streetball? Have you watched the rox this year?
I am not the biggest fan if analytics however since you brought up team defense, guess who leads the nba?

your too caught up in what you have been seeing the last month with the spurs.. Leonard is a beast no question, but Timmy will be outmatched vs jones , Leonard will get his but he will have to work much harder on defense than he has in the last month...

appreciate a good discussion
 
Leonard will contain harden you can't shut him down but limit him. Spurs play great team ball not one player stands out more then the other. Will it be a good series yeah but spurs win in 5

We'll see tomorrow and Friday how they matchup. Like I said hopefully we see them in playoffs against each other :cheers3:
 
I wouldn't go by tomorrow , I know they are playing for seeding rox need to build chemistry with their regulars, Howard's been out most of the year and jones a good portion...

don't think pop would risk Leonard picking up quick fouls as harden is very good at getting guys to bite ...
