Pretty much a regular
First off, wanted to say hello as i am new to the forum. I have posted on twitter for the past few years and a couple friends suggested i post on here. On here, when i have the time i can elaborate a little bit more on why i like the games and such. I am not a professional and am not selling anything. I simply thought it would be fun to get some feedback and such on my plays and share information. Again, I have consistently won in sports betting over the years but that does not by any means mean i havent had a bad week, month, year, etc. All that being said i am not asking anyone to tail so please don't lash out at me if i have a losing day or week. My goal is to be up money at the end of the year. If i end up +5$ at the end of the year well that is a win in my book. Any time i do not lose on the day it is considered a win. I really enjoy sports and love digging into information is why i do this. I work a full time job and by no means consider this my profession. I like anyone else can learn from other cappers and in life you can never stop learning. Alright enough with the intro lets get to the plays:
Play #1: Twins +118. Santana has an outstanding past the last few years in April and has done very well against the O's hitters in his career. Twins are also a team on my radar that should be undervalued at the start of the season by vegas and many bettors. They are loaded with young talent and a solid lineup. I also played the win total Over 78.5 as i think they will get more than 80 wins this year. On the other end Tillman has been decent over the years at home but i do not think he should be this much of a favorite. Ill ride twins today as i see plenty of value on them today. Twins +118 (100 to win 118)
Play #2: Indians +100. Kluber coming off a somewhat of a down year i think he bounces back big time this year but thats not the reason for the play today. RSox hitters are a career 15 for 75 off of him with 22 K's. Kluber always seem to be at his best in his home park and I expect the same today. The tribe hitters should be very familiar with price as they have faced him plenty in their career. Team is 53 for 221 lifetime against price. a .240 average. They do have a ton of strikeouts but Price is a strikeout guy. I think Kluber at home Even money has plenty of value against almost anyone in the league. Indians +100 (100 to win 100)
Play #3: Jays/Rays Over 7.5 Runs (-123). RA Dickey was awful away from home and in 8 starts at the Trop has a 4.53 ERA. Everything points to both teams piling up some runs today. Weather wont be a factor inside and that turf usually allows some balls to slide through the infield that wouldn't normally get through. On the other end, it is the Jays lineup vs a Lefty. They can easily put up 8 runs themselves on any given day and especially against a lefty. Jays hit .278 off lefties as a team last year and this year shouldn't be any different. Jays/Rays Over 7.5 Runs (-123 (123 to win 100)
Recap: Twins +118, Indians +100, Jays/Rays Over 7.5. All for 1 unit. My 1 unit is 100$. Just because im risking 100$ per play doesnt mean you have to stick to your normal unit. If your normal unit is 10$ then play 10$ per play. If its 25$ play 25$ per play. Half the battle in being successful is money management and being smart. if your bankroll is 500$ dont wager 300$ in plays in 1 day thats asking to lose.
Also feel free to comment or give reasons you like the plays or dislike the plays. Thanks and goodluck
