Pop was outcoached in Game 6 by Doc. Hopefully he won't make the same mistakes twice.
 
Better team wins an NBA series 98% of the time. Who is the better team ?

Imo, if you have the opportunity to closeout a series on your homecourt and you fail, then you don't deserve it.
 
I think that Clips are better team, but losers - so it's really a toss up.
Took Spurs teaser with the Nets tonight for now.
 
Clips have the better starters but not the better 'team'.

LAC starters outscored the Spurs' starters 87-48 last night.

Spurs' bench outscored the LAC bench 48-15.

Will be interesting to see what refs are deployed for this one.
 
Man i wish this game was on Sunday.... the spurs lineup with manu and splitter together is so BLAH.... both of them are hurting as well as tony parker... im having a very hard time seeing the spurs pull off the win but this entire series has been zig zag so i guess spurs backers have that going for them

the bench guys have to play well for SA to have a shot... cp3 and blake's game is so predictable but they're playing so well that it really doesn't matter.

i'm really impressed by how much BG has improved his game over the past 2 seasons...
 
Spurs better with Mills and Belinelli on the floor as opposed to Parker and Green.

Think last night was the first time I've seen Pops lose wearing the 'khaki suit', thought the Spurs were a sure thing when I saw he had it on. True story.

Hack-a-DJ was his undoing, was inexplicable he pulled it out when he did. In the Game 3 Spurs rout he never went to it once with any sort of a lead, DJ finished 0-0 from the line.

Doc's bitching and moaning about the Game 5 officiating also bought him some calls last night. Clips consistent whinging makes them unlikeable.

Logic says take the home team in such a game but this series is backwards, a virtual gamblers nightmare.

Maybe some offensive statistics show that. mills is certainly better defensively but Belinelli can't defend anyone....Green does a good enough job on CP3, he just cant shoot and parker doesnt matchup well defensively with anyone (sans austin).

Big baby's availability will certainly play into it- clipps bench already a disaster..
 
Steve Balmer is unwatchable. I hope the Clippers lose.

Blake and Paul have played to the best of their abilities all series long. If Baby is out... there's not much playable depth at the 5 for the Clippers. Hack a Jordan will be in effect.

Probably be on Spurs out of principle. Both these teams going to be gassed and will lay down game 1 @ Rockets.
 
Leonard has to have a big game for the Spurs if they want a W. The kid gets great looks just needs to make em. Will be a great game to warm up with before May/Paq....

McCutchen and Capers officiated last season's Game 6 between the Clips and Thunder. Very favorable refs for SA.

Only the Spurs and any team containing LeBron could generate this much action as an away team in a Game 7. Crazy.

Basically paying to see a poorer-than-years-past Spurs team win 3-straight playoff games on a competitive opponents home floor. NBA loves it's storylines though, I guess.

To me this is more of an opportunity for CP3 to shake the Spurs' playoff Mouse off his back given this version of the Spurs quite visible vulnerability.

No idea. NBA changes agendas on the regular but will look a bit closer if the Spurs win.
 
At some point I would think it is in their best interest to push an LA team..
paul and griffin must be marketable even as the villain?
 
So many travels by both teams, it's mind blowing. Also, I will never understand continuation rules in the NBA.

With CP3 out, it's not fun either way. Obviously if he is truly out, it's Spurs game to lose...
Tough blow for Clippers backers and basketball fans...

As for Spurs road win, Clippers with CP3 are just horrible team at home in the playoffs. 9 - 9 SU and 6 - 12 ATS...
 
Massive loss if confirmed out. Can't be bothered buying out. Will go down with the ship.
 
Not sure playing CP3 that can barely walk is better than playing without him...
 
That's for sure, but Clippers look confused on defense, with CP3 not being able to stay with his man.
Wonder how CP3 comes out from half time rest with his injury (can get worse) and how Pop and the Spurs will try to take advantage of that.

They wont,, these last 5 minutes were without Blake..once he is back in more too worry about...
 
Spurs 3-8 SU (2-9 ATS) when trailing at the half in the playoffs last 2 seasons (1-2 this season).
 
Points of turnovers, fastbreak points and second chance points are keeping Clippers alive...
 
Despite Clips taking the biggest lead of the game, Spurs look much sharper than the Clips in the second half so far I think.
 
They rotate much sharper, recognize miss matches a lot better, block, go for the loose balls, deflect...
Clips need Redick to be much more sharper, unless Barnes can play the whole game the way he played so far...
 
Very bad unit for the Clips on the floor. Wonder if Spurs can take advantage of that.

I didn't say they help them on purpose, just missed 3 - 4 calls in Spurs favor. Finally got one right...
