That is fabulous, Roch. So much for the theory that one shouldn't play so many games. I play a shitload of games, but you have me beat by a couple of hundred.
Good Luck in the rest of the bowls.

Alright lets try this again. I will admit that Central Michigan is a very average football team. After all they were outscored on average 29-33 throughout the year. They did win 4 of their last five contests albeit against below average competition. However, they can score putting up 30 points or more in their last five contests and in 9 of their 12 games. The loss of Titus Davis and Williams will be costly but Cody Wilson is still their most dependable target and I will expect Zurlon Tipton to get 25+ carries tonight in an effort to take pressure off the passing game. Addtionally, it is not as if Ryan Radcliff is a terrible passer in fact he probably gets the nod over Kawaun Jakes tonight as the better pocket passer.

Western Kentucky is probably a slightly better squad but in a difficult position with Taggert moving on to South Florida. Moreover, this squad really played poorly in the last half of the year finishing 2-4 in their last six games. The two wins were by 8 points over FIU (WKU scored in the last three minutes) and the one point win over North Texas. A team that averaged only 25 points a game in the last five contests is now being asked to lay a TD on a neutral field. WKU'S offense is only averaging 392 yds per game and only rushed for over 200 yds twice in the last 7 contests. CMU struggled against the run this year but most of the squads had an above average to good passing game. I don't think that WKU has the ability to stretch the field vertically. Overall this should be a game in which the clock runs constantly because both teams with rely on their respective workhorse. Andrews will get his yards, as will Tipton, but WKU will struggle with an assistant running the show.

CMU 28 WKU 27

Good solid sweep last night w/o having to stress too much.

Regular Season: +79.12 Units--Goal for Bowl Season is +21.0 Units to finish the entire year at +100 Units.

Bowl Season Record:

O/U: 5-3-0 (+$70.00) (+2.80 Units)

Overall: 8-8-0 (-5.51 Units)

Today's Plays:

Military Bowl:

San Jose State -7.5 (6.0 Units)
San Jose State/Bowling Green Over 44.5 (1.0 Unit)

Prediction: San Jose State 34 Bowling Green 17

Belk Bowl
Duke +9.5 (5.0 Units)
Duke/Cincy Over 59.5 (1.0 Unit)

Prediction: Duke 34 Cincy 30

Holiday Bowl:

interested for your Liberty Bowl take

No doubt a tough spot for Iowa State as they can't be happy about the rematch with Tulsa after beating them 38-23 in the home opener this year. The ISU team is a little different then the first go around...no Jake Knott is obviously a big blow but they do get Givens (SS) and Watson (CB) back from injuries which should help the secondary. They will need to force Cody Green into some mistakes but that hasn't been a real problem for most teams this year. The key upgrade on offense is Richardson at QB over Jantz. Jantz is just so mistake prone and cannot run the read option. His benching was the key to ISU turning its season around. Think ISU gets it done based on the overall talent disparity and coaching. Would be leary if ISU is favored over 3.0 at kickoff.

McCoil and Brown both played in that season opener VK. Also think that if ISU can contain the running the game then Green is not good enough to beat our secondary consistently.

Even with a loss tonight will end up clearing just a little over 50 units for NCAAF. Best of luck to everyone tonight. This is the best forum in the business and this year has been alot of fun. Hopefully we can continue to make money in NCAAB.
