This one is a tough handicap IMO - Myself and TT thought they could contend for B12 title, and here they are in SHREVEPORT - I keep going back and forth .......

Fwiw....a buddy of mine who works in the athletic dept at tech has said all week how the team seemed really motivated and wanted to salvage what's left of the szn with a win..so I don't think there's a lack of motivation at play, I think they just got smacked in the mouth early. Will prob wait to see what the 2H line is (higher limits anyway)

At current numbers stay away - I might play ODU live/2H

Both lines crashed hard the wrong way. Very interesting to see the amount of movement when both teams were playing with a backup QB.

Got to thinking - they'll still go hard - maybe even (harder) now that Dr Frank is out, was so pissed he was out - couldn't believe it ha - even cancelled plans to go to the game. Had a LOT riding on that one - esp. in a parlay with SJSU - Wyoming - Auburn.

Cuse games with QB out were really low scoring - look for them to do the same here - run Wildcat / ugly it up. Nothing 1H specific here really, just prefer it to full game (56) esp in early bowls....

The OVER might be the better play, as GT is high variance for sure - but they are still in program BUILDING mode- last bowl 2018- this one is huge.

With Kennard out for GT and Thornton out for UCF, I definitely think the over is a strong play here.

probably works - might do the RB instead ..... in my notes I have that GT's zone scheme matches up well vs UCF's defensive front....

S Bama might have several key guys out, including QB - already top RB and top WR
Definitely live/2H only - EMU could/should get murdered ...... but S Bama cannot be trusted. The only reason I'm not on the 17+ is EMU finally won a bowl LY ( a BA guarantee if I recall ha) - so we might see a letdown here - which is not good since this is one of their worst teams. Plus S Bama has never won a bowl.

It's a really difficult game to handicap. I'm in a bowl spread pickem pool, and I keep oscillating between the two. Currently for today:
Locked in:
- NIU +1.5
- Troy -6.5
Can change up until kickoff:
- Utah St. +2.5
- AF +3.5
- EMU +15.5 ?!?
- NW +7.5
- SJSU -9.5
5/7 Dogs, which makes me nervous....(Edit: just seeing your notes above. Will go with USA on motivation/let down angle. I know you played GAST small, but Utah St. is bringing in some sharp coin -- thoughts?)

You never know - but way too many guys bet the (match-up) in these early bowls - everybody I saw liked UCF, Ark State, and Troy . SJSU should be fine at <10 or whatever really. LOVE AF if their QB plays. Utah is dangerous, but they stink in bowls as of late - last win 2017 FFS.
I have no thoughts today other than drinking too much, eating way too much, then passing out. Later maybe some midget porn .... then working on Rice as a larger play.... :cowboy:
