No he's never playing in the nfl again. If a video of mike Vick existed killing dogs he wouldn't be in the nfl. The video is the X factor
 
Wonder if how this affects Goodell... wouldn't be surprised if he is forced to step down....

Yup, TMZ taking down everyone - new age of sports media. Just surprised how they got a hand on the tape and why it took so long to leak.
 
At first I thought you guys were dead wrong about RR never playing in the league again. Heck, I was ready to scour the waiver wire in fantasy believing a team like NE would pick him up in a heartbeat. Now, I'm not so sure it would be that easy. I think he COULD play again but he will have to go on a PR campaign that would need to out-do those of Ray Lewis, Mike Vick, and Pacman Jones combined.
 
And I'm glad Balty cut him. First part of this whole saga that's finally played out how it was supposed to.

ESPN had an interesting piece in their article breaking this story on double jeopardy in that the league suspended RR before this video came to light and he's already serving that suspension and that the NFL couldn't go back and suspend him again because he could easily beat it in court. I wonder how this will play out.
 
That was a one-hitter quitter right there. Decent form, need to see a little more footwork though from Ray. She was unbalanced and left herself unprotected, lunging is never a good strategy in boxing.
 
The outrage over the new video is at least a little puzzling, not because the video isn't outrageous, but what the fuck did everyone already think happened in there before viewing the new one? The old video provided all you needed to know, kind of like Spielberg not showing the shark yet in Jaws but you knew what happened. The new video kind of confirms what I had already envisioned and assumed.

Would have liked to see him work the body more, but he knew he only had one round/floor left.
 
One other thing that is shady is TMZ gets their hands on this footage about a week after The Revel in Atlantic City shuts down.
 
Unless hes banned by the NFL, I expect to see him in a Raiders uniform...soon...

Wonder if the nfl was offered the tape and decided against purchasing it. You would think they never wanted this released
 
Though acknowledging they had the tape and weren't releasing it may have been an even bigger pr hit
 
Anyone know who the major losers/lenders in the Revel shutdown are?? They just lost over $2 billion. Might be a bit out there but they may have forced the sale if TMZ came with a ridiculous offer. I have a hard time believing that one employee at a casino could get away with leaking this footage.

The video thing is strange .

Glazer was on DP about a month ago and said that the NFl knew there was more video but they weren't able to see it and wouldn't be able to see it because the DA would not release it.

Maybe it was turned over to the DA and but someone made a copy?
 
the DA had it, that's for sure. the NFL leaked the info that they had seen the video to several reporters, now they're saying they never saw it.

At least two Baltimore-area Dick's Sporting Goods have told CBSSports.com that they were instructed by the corporate office to pull Ray Rice jerseys off the shelves.

I don't think goodel survives this. He is basically calling a lot of respected NfL reporters/insiders liars. Whats the old saying- never wage battle with an entity they buys their ink by the 50 gallon drum. Mortenson interview was fantastic. He did a lot of eye rolling.

Pretty sad because he was only 27 years old, that's prime time for most players. But he can only blame himself.

Everyone saw the first vid where she was knocked out on the floor, and Ray acting nonchalantly - what was everyone expecting with the new video, just the punch?
