It's 1998 and I'm in Vegas for my bday(September). Cows are playing the Gints on MNF.
Dallas never lost on a monday night when I was in Vegas. ONly one ATS loss.
Anyway, Bally's has one of those squares contest. The main prize is tickets to the first BCS bowl at the Fiesta(Tennessee won in 99).
I'm ragging some NYG fan telling him how Jesse Armstead played for dallas Carter.
Deion returns a punt with a minute or two left. It hit's my square. I go up to get my free tshirt and drink ticks, the guy says if the score holds, you win the grand prize.
It's in the bag.
I get two ticks to the Fiesta bowl, but trade them to a local dealer to see the Cows play the Cards in round one of the playoffs. It's 19 degrees and freezing, Cards win 20-0.
I always think of that when I see Deion.
