***Niners-Chiefs Super Bowl In-Game***

Again, this is what I’ve said all along. The NFL absofuckinglutley LOVES this. They love the shitty calls and the sheep talking about games being fixed. They love the controversy. The love every damned minute of it.

I know that because they haven’t made their officials full time and they haven’t actually taken the steps to ensure every call is correct. They have the money to do so, that much is blatantly obvious. There is only ONE reason they haven’t done so...they don’t want to because they love the controversy and the NFL being the center of attention in the sports world.

And it works, doesn’t it?

I think they love sending a quarterback to the super bowl with unlimited more marketing potential than Blake Bortles.

There could have been a multitude of reasons. Who was the game against? Did Harbaugh and their coach have an incident in the past that would warrant some “fuck you?” What week in the season was it? Was there a player looking to cash in on a bonus of some sort?

None of these specific questions have to be applicable in that game...the point is that there are many reasons something may be happening on the field...just because someone is about to win/lose money on the game doesn’t mean gambling and fixed games is the reason.

no to all and it wasn't harbarf. ravens needed to win the game to clinch a playoff spot. they were up by a td. they could have taken knees mathematically. we could go back and forth but it's not worth it. i don't have any satisfactory answers.

Maybe, but is it really THAT big of a difference? The game is sold out regardless, every country that carries the game carries it regardless, the commercials are well paid for by the time the teams are decided, etc. The only thing that may suffer is viewership, and honestly how many less people are actually going to watch if it’s the Jags and not the Pats?

Targeting needs to be gotten rid of. Its the biggest lip service bullshit ever. The NFL can say see! I care about safety rules. But these sort of dangerous tackles don‘t happen any less frequently because defensive players can‘t magically alter their position in an instant to avoid making contact with undesired areas of the offensive player. 15 yard penalties and ejections that can change games for nothing!

The NFL is essentially the WWE without an actual script. The subjective rules lead to subjective calls that half of the audience will disagree with. They fucking love this shit and want more, more, more.

Greed and commercialism ruin so much integrity. I feel like if my IQ were 20 points lower i‘d enjoy sports more — like when i was a kid.

What are the requirements for becoming a mod? Sending in a pic of one‘s driver‘s license and being here for 5 years?
