***National Championship--Clemson vs Alabama--Discussion***

150 yards more offense

10 minutes more T.O.P.

Double the 1st downs

And that is -2 in turnovers.

Correct team is leading right now.

They've always made enough for working one day per week.

It's an easy fix, but the NFL refuses for some reason. There's no reason that they can't have an "officiating academy" where they train ex-NFL and college players. They'll be younger with better eyes and reflexes, they'll be more accustomed to the rules as actually having played the game (recently), and you can pay them a ton of money to make it worth their while. Why not pay them $500k+? The league makes $9+ BILLION per year. Like I said, it's embarrassing that the NFL trots out the officiating they do.

Well yes - for working one day a week. But their annual salaries used to be 25-70k a year and if you are making that annually, you would need another job. This would mean no time for an officiating academy (or similar).

BTW - I am agreeing with you that they need to get better officiating. :shake2:

This game is behind Criminal Minds in the ratings

Like no one is remotely watching it unless you have your dick in your hand and an over bet

Line finally switches...

Well 2nd half O hits. Even if Bama scores I should still get the Clemmy ML for 2nd half.
Unless there's fuckery going on.

The academy comes into play when you're paying them a few hundred grand (at least) per year. There's no need for them to have another job, this is their career at that point. The way it's set up now is idiotic, plain and simple.

did that say 17 fd to 3? holy crap
