i figured we'd get a big thread going again.

here are my leans:
OKC +9: not sure how you can fade this team getting nearly DDs at home as they've been great in that role

ORL -3: DET is in a funk and i'm unsure the status of Rip Hamilton

ATL -5: I was hoping for less than -3, but at 5 it makes me think ATL will win this game handily. Carmelo's back which worries me if i did play the Hawks as he can go for 50 any night, but i think the Hawks D will show up and they play well at home

Memphis +2.5: Love this team and i'd love to back them as a small dog against the fucking Wolves although i expected the Grizz to be favored and i'm wondering if this is vegas praying for grizz money

Golden St +1.5: Probably my favorite of the day. GS showed a lot in their win over Toronto and failed to cover in the first leg of their b2b last night. I'm thinking they win this one tonight against a shitty road team in Toronto.

Washington +13: I just think this is too many points but i doubt i'll be anywhere near it

Carmelo is averaging 33pts,9rbs,4ass in last 3 meetings at Philips Arena.

Thinking about the UNDER @ Atlanta and possibly ATL. The Under as the Hawks last meeting saw no defense 55% FG, 21-39 from three and 26 attempted FTs each . This BEAT the number by 50 points !! Yesterday Den faced another high paced team @ NY and won 117-110 but the possessions again were not that crazy . Both teams allow 44% FGs and FTs should not break 50 attemped ...thinking game doesnt crack 195 and really should fall around 190.....

Thinking Pistons as they are starting to get it together playing a team on a long streak especially against the SPREAD. So perfect spot IMO for the streak to end ofr ORL as it faces a streaking team but who is in the early stages of it .....

Under @ NJN think 210 is just way to high ......lean NJN slightily...

Thinking Minny ML , 1st H and 2nd Q ....Wolves starting to play better vs ORL the Miagic just owned the 4th Q and Memphis just in a brutal stretch of schedule off a tough OT loss @ SA ...(maybe over ?)

Suns 1st Q , 1sT H and maybe OKC 2nd H ...Why PHO? After a tough buzzer beater loss and 3 days off think since OKC gave them a tough game last meeting they wont take this lightily . Which in my eyes means fast start......OKC does have a tendency to play 4 quarters so the 2nd H could be attractive if OKC loses vs the number.....(maybe over)

Thinking Wiz 1st Q , 1st H and game.....improving player but Caron out does hurt on the road ...played Houston tough at home but fell apart in the 4th Q...

Sixers depending on who is in for Utah . Off a tough travel schedule and tough OT loss @ Houston...like Philly ML....

Unsure about the last game because Raps faded 2nd H and worry they could again here but GSW is a better 1st H home team IMO.....

So trying a system for grading my plays .

very simple the (x) simply means that I am playing small increments. So 1x is minimum bet , and so on ..2x ,3x,4x, 5x , 6x ....old system had me my Level1 play as 1/5th of my Level 3 play so essentially something that is 5x would be the equal of a Level 3 play ......So graded 1x to 6x all equal increments...and my MAX play will be 10x ..which is 10x my minimun play .......

Basically combined for 42/84 but 10/20 3s and 13/16 FTs. The FT is what I expected even a tad less(thought bewteen 30-40 makes from the LINE) but expect closer to 45% shooting and 35% from 3.....:shake:

Any thoughts on the spread/total on that GS/Toronto game?

I'm leaning GS - thought they played ok for 2.5 quarters at LA before falling apart...they do have Crawford/Jackson back and this is a home game against Toronto who is on the last game of their road trip. Toronto does like to play fast at times but they could get caught up in a game they can't keep up....Liking GS to run a lot here, and negate Toronto's inside advantage of Bosh/O'Neal.

Seeing how Tor faded vs Portland think they are worn down at this point . Having to chase GSW up on the down floor isnt the best matchup at this point . Like the 1st H over , 2nd H under and lean game under but if I touch the total its small...

I played GSW +2 but not really confident in it because they are 4-17 L21 SU and Raps are something similiar like 5-17 L22 away ...Raps definetly the better team just thinking GSW because of the spot but GSW situationally isnt in the greatest spot either .....

Basically saying I was thinking of backing out of my GSW play and just watchinh the 1st H :shake:

Actually think this is aterrible spot for GSW and played Raps ML -125 (3x) to hedge the GSW +2 play. Starting a road trip in a day after this with a silly schedule past week. Played 12/17-12/23 on a 5 game road trip then the holiday 24 and 25th , play Boston the 26th , then @ LAL yesterday , now host Tor but go on another trip on the 31st....@OKC

So trying a system for grading my plays .

very simple the (x) simply means that I am playing small increments. So 1x is minimum bet , and so on ..2x ,3x,4x, 5x , 6x ....old system had me my Level1 play as 1/5th of my Level 3 play so essentially something that is 5x would be the equal of a Level 3 play ......So graded 1x to 6x all equal increments...and my MAX play will be 10x ..which is 10x my minimun play .......

Don't think Jazz play good defense and worse with Boozer and Milsap out because their rebounding suffers ..so already had the game over in mind

Got a Halftime discount with 97 (made game total 191 rather then close of 196)

Seriously thought Philly was going to have a legit chance of winning which they were also down 8. So expected Sixers to win the 2nd H . Expected a few more FT attempts as well ....

Used the dog and over correalation especially seeing that Utah was already below 50% shoting and thought Philly could make up an 8 pt defecit. At least get it close and hope late FTs would push it over ...

Nothing in the 1st H stat sheet . Seemed like decent pace and about expected shooting with little 3pters or FTs made and that got them to 94..so 97 wasnt only a tad more:shake:

Thanks mate ! I was little afraid it could get out of hand because of a blowout and everything will slow down ! This Utah team is impressive though ! They came off a 5 games road trip, had to stay in Milwaukee before that game, had 2 days rest after, which where the Christmas days( and that can get pretty stressful after u've been gone so long), had a back2back with 2 texan teams(the second one going 2 double ot) and still managed to cover the past 3 games despite so many adversities and injuries....

Raps -3.5 2H

Refs did everything possible to give the Warriors that 2Q. They put the Raps in the penalty at the 9:45 mark of the 2H on mostly ticky tack fouls. IMo the Raps have been the aggressors and had more fast break points until the refs started to call fouls. GSW didnt capitalize, they should be up more, but aren't.
