Just posting some breakdowns to aid discussion, not plays.

Hornets at Cavs
-Hornets won two in a row at home over Knicks and Celts to break a 10 game losing streak, took MEM to OT the next game and then was blown out next night at Nets.
-Hornets played Wed, Fri, Sat. This game is off one day of rest, but 4th game in 6 days.
-Hornets played 7 of 9 at home.
-Hornets ATS lately - Loss, W, W, Loss, Loss, Loss, Win, Loss, Loss, Push, Loss, Push
-Hornets are healthier with MKG and Gary Neal back to provide some firepower.

-Cavs just finished a 5/6 stretch of roadies, Losing the last two to red hot Thunder (without LeBron) and then in NO on the B2B.
-Cavs played Tue, Thu, Fri. This game is off two days rest. Cavs are 3-1 ATS off two days rest.
-1st game of a 5 game Home stand
-Cavs are streaky, two losses now which stopped an 8 game win streak after a 4 game losing streak, after a 4 game win streak
-Cavs ATS lately - Loss, Loss, Loss, W, W, Loss, Loss, W, W, W, Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss....very streaky

-Hornets will be better now that they are healthier, but is it enough to stop a Cavs team playing off two losses at home? Cavs were playing pretty well for those 8 games before losing their last two (both teams much better than Hornets). Have Hornets recovered from blowing 4th Q lead at MEM? The loss at Nets...was just a bad spot after the OT game the night before.

-Lakers won 3 in a row over Kings, at Spurs, and at T-Wolves.
-Lakers played Tue, Fri, Sun. This game is a B2B and 3/4. Lakers are 2-3 ATS on b2b.
-Lakers playing 6th game out of 8 on the road...3 road, 2 home, and then 3 road. Lakers play at home their next game.
-Lakers started out slow, 1-9 SU, but since are 7-7 SU.
-Lakers ATS lately - W, W, Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss, W, W, Loss, W
-Lakers have played better since changing the starting lineup. Boozer has 3 straight DD off the bench.
-Lakers playing better defense - 6-1 to Under in last 7.

-Pacers have lost 8 in a row. Last 4 have all been to top teams - POR, TOR, Clips, and ATL.
-Pacers played Wed, Fri, Sat. This game is off one day of rest, but 4th game in 6 days. Pacers are 7-4 ATS off one day rest, but 1-2 ATS during the current 8 game losing streak.
-Pacers playing final game of 3/4 home games, hit the road for 3 games after this.
-Pacers started out hot ATS - 10-5, but since then are only 2-6 ATS.
-Pacers ATS lately - Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss, W, W, Loss, Loss, W, W, W....streaky team

Pacers are struggling after hot start, Lakers seemed to have figured something out after slow start. Lakers have the better bench. Lakers have trouble closing out games, but they can stay close.

Anyone else want to give it a shot? Breakdown a game or two?

I feel like the pacers are quietly tanking... they have the injuries they can point at, they seem to play hard and no one will question it..
They have some players to trade, hibbert and west have player options next year..neither will give those up, (no one else will pay them that much)...West could certainly help a contender...
