Bulls get: Kobe Bryant
Lakers get: Ron Artest and Ben Wallace
Kings get: Ben Gordon and PJ Brown

Bulls would get a way with murder then go win the championship
Hinrich
Kobe
Deng
Tyrus Thomas
Noah

Lakers would want more than just that. Especially since Wallace isn't getting any younger. I think the lakers want a star and young players

It was just on ESPN reported by Ric Bucher. Didnt say the Lakers rejected it. Just said it fell through. Probally was LA but he said they is still talking

Would not be so quick to give them a championship with that 4 and 5....how would they get by Boston, let alone WC teams....

That is such a joke of a trade.

Wonder how that one got talked up

Thats hilarious

BAR,

I think Boston has a decent chance to be a contender in the East because Detroit didn't really improve themselves, Miami is on a decline, NJ is an up and down team, especially in the play off, Cleveland can only go as far as LBJ takes them andd they didn't really help him that much over the off season, and then we have the Bulls, with the addition of Kobe, I'm pretty sure they will be the front runner for the title.

Now getting back to Boston, if only they can add some supporting players around the big 3, they should be a contender and hang with the best of the East. Boston has 3 superstars, they only need to have 2 on the floor at a time to be competitive. Personally I don't really Pierce that much but love KG and his attitude. He brings it every night. As for Ray, he's injury prone but he does not have to carry this team and should be able to fit in well.

I disagree with a few things.

Well..first, if Kobe ever lands in Chicago it means Deng is gone. There is no way the proposed trade in this thread would ever go thru. Its a complete joke. No one is taking on Bens contract with his declining play the past few years. Even with KB, chicago would still have same issues..although be a contender.

Detroit got much better from last year. Basically adding Hayes, Maxiell, Johnson, Affalo and Stuckey to the rotation. Add in wallace sans 30 lbs and its a better team.

Boston will be a good team..no doubt..but I rate them behind Det,Tor and Chi for now...

cuz kobias wants to win. he needs the kid from the sudan to do that. batman needs robin.

i love the more and more this plays out. with each passing day the lakers are losing value in kobe. kobe is gonna continue to keep pressing for trade and lakers fans you continue to keep booing him for me. id love me some kobe.

Your right..but at same point they are not going to give him up for garbage..better off just letting him go and saving cap money....although that prolly doesn't happen

Still...this Ben Wallace and Artest trade has me laughing. I cannot believe this reported as a possible trade. Its hilarious.

How are they losing value ?

Lakers are not stupid If Kobe dont budge a little he's gonna be a Laker for the rest of the season

the more and more AI wanted out the less and less it took to get him. who they give up andre miller and evans ...

That is such a joke of a trade.

No kidding. There is no way in hell the Lakers would make that deal.

The Lakers need some sort of a star--UNLESS they are going to tank the year and go for the most ping pong balls but as we've all seen that guarantees you nothing and I'm not even sure who you'd go after.

The Lakers have to have a name to fill the seats and as much as I love Ben Wallace, he's a work ethic guy. That's perfect for Detroit and good in Chicago, but it means s**t in L.A. because it kind of flies in the face of what L.A. wants to believe it's about.

The problem in this situation is that the Lakers need a name, but they're going to have a hard time getting one.

And Kobe won't go to a team that you have to gut to bring him in because he'll end up in the same situation he's in now.

But Joe believes in him some conspiracies so as much as something like a Dirk/Kobe swap makes sense, I think he ends up in the East.

Because the NBA is crooked like some St. Ides malt liquor.

ben gordon is a flashy guy. just like the microwave back in day. he need a pg to play this game tho. without kirk i dunno what numbers he put up.

and kirk u still are a goat. stay on the damn court. watching the dvrd game now ...

LMAO-I was kinda thinking same thing

He make hi covers fall appearance yet?

he bumped his Kobe Appreciation thread when lakers were down 12 with 2 min thinking he won lol

then he blamed kobe for the lakers losing that game like always

if Lakers big shot GM decision type people dont make a move. kobe will opt out a become a chicago bull in 2 years when big bens contract is up. lakers get absolutely nothing for kobe and all their fans are now clippers fans. even u jack (shades and all) ;)

Hustle thinking he won

*** BUMP for tonight's game on NBA Tv ***

Looks like the fakers' "superstar" is in midseason form tonight.

4-16 FGA with team highs in PFs and turnovers against the worst perimeter defending team in basketball of all last season.

kobe will tear down your entire organization by then

That's totally true. At this rate it'll be done by mid-season.

Although, Kobe's just the tumor, Kupcheck (sp?) is the cancer.

Trade rumors involving Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant coming to the Bulls just won't go away. In fact, they are getting hotter and heavier by the minute.
The latest, as reported by WSCR 670-AM, has Bryant coming to the Bulls as part of a three-way deal involving the Sacramento Kings.
Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich and Kings forward Ron Artest, a former Bulls, could wind up in Los Angeles.
The rumor was also being discussed on WMVP 1000-AM.
A Bulls source denied any deal was imminent

Lakers vice president Magic Johnson said a Kobe to Chicago deal isn't going to happen.

''A deal can't get done because they won't include [Luol] Deng,'' Johnson said Tuesday on TNT. ''And without Deng, a deal can't get done.''...

Johnson said the Bulls and Lakers could not put together a trade that would satisfy the league's money requirement for such a deal. The total salaries of the players sent to Los Angeles for Bryant must be within 15 percent of the $19 million Bryant will make this season.

A source close to the Phoenix Suns shot down a rumored three-team deal that would've had the Bulls landing Bryant, Gordon and the Suns' Shawn Marion going to the Lakers and a package of Tyrus Thomas and other considerations heading to Phoenix.

The Suns source said the team would be interested in discussing such a deal but that Phoenix last talked trade with the Lakers for Bryant some 10 days ago, and the conversation went nowhere.
