2nd week, time to post em up. Love Stan today but think Monfils will do what he always does and at least make it interesting for a second...but certainly not the first set. He's all about the late drama. Guessing Stan in 4 sets. Also think Cornet beats Garcia in 3 sets, not guessing the scores.

i like thiem esp the way joker has looked... dont like that thiem said after last loss that he doesnt like to play novak he takes all his time away and thiem has long loopy strokes but thiem def has had a nice easy trip so far where joker if he played better competition could be out.... Women i think u can throw a dart and have just as good luck... i do like WOZY wide open slam shes under radar has the tools and maybe does it ostapenko is young style should work out for wozy they are playin on lenglen so slower and allows wozy to chase balls ostapenko can get hot but she will need to make alot of winners to get by wozy so i like that... Mladnenovic looks like the side has said she prefers 2nd show court over main court and shes 1st up at main court... she has embraced home crowd was a pre tourney popular pick with how she has been playing... Timea is a funky player odd FH good BH Mladenovic can hit her off court and better at the moment from baseline only concern is her serve is major concern 16 doubles yesterday and if she does that she will lose but dont expect that again.... basically pk em matchup id side with home fav too ... Halep is my pick personally to win tourny sets up well for her to get first slam should beat svitolina and looks strong only concern pre tourny was ankle but all seems well there...

I'm probably as comfortable as can be with this draw. Don't know that it translates to winning, often times the curve ball gets thrown and it just becomes second guessing, but I like both the men's and women's draws at this point. Rare for me to think like that so I'm sure something will get fucked up, but Stan v Nadal final and Woz to win it is where I'm at. Can't get behind Halep because she's just screwed me over too many times in big matches, just seems to get so down on herself so quickly and pisses me off to no end...if she finally gets a major, maybe that changes a bit but I doubt it. Just gets so frustrating having money on her.

I will agree, with the women's game it's a ton better to have live betting which I do not have at the moment. So easy to end up with plus money on both players in the bigger matches. I guess at this point I've just chosen to take a stance on the matches in front of us and am comfortable with them. Think Thiem beats Joker and Nadal beats him in an epic kinda match...think Stan takes down Murray pretty easily. Of course I could look like a fool come this weekend too.

Wozniacki, just think she's in a good place, playing well and fit enough to win if she can play consistent. BOL Noles :beer4:

im with u think stan/nadal final..... stan with his back could be an issue he will have a tough match wit cilic as hes playing well.... murray is coming together nicely but agree stan is the man to beat at the top..... i do like a woz/halep final as well and would be a doozy as styles clash nicely in that one

Da fuck happened to Caroline? She cruised through the first set and in true WTA form absolutely shit the bed. So much for thinking I had this thing figured out, these chicks are costing me some coin. Not like I'm gonna jump ship but that was brutal.

Moving on...like Pliskova, line is lower than it should be because clay doesn't suit her and always dangerous playing a Frenchie at this point in the tournament, but I'm hoping Garcia's big emotional win a couple days ago shows here. Pliskova is one of the few women I actually enjoy watching play these days and if she's on I think she rolls. I pretty much assume Stan gets by fairly easily as well but not like Cilic can't take a set here. Rather play the over at +100 than Cilic +2.5 sets at -270, if it goes 4 sets over should be golden. If Stan takes it in straights, so be it, at least I win that. Murray shouldn't be laying 6 games to Kei on the clay, if Kei can get a set I'll feel good about that bet as well. One thing about Andy though, he does seem to be pretty mellow for his standards lately which doesn't help the wager. Need just a bit of temper just for old times' sakes and a couple gifted games.

Nadal got a gift he didn't even need with only 10 games today and a semifinal tomorrow, fortunately for Thiem he took out Joker in straight sets so he shouldn't be in too bad a shape.

Thiem/Nadal is must watch for anyone who enjoys this sport. Thiem has recorded the fastest first serve this tournament, and Rafa has won the second most points on return. Throw in Rafa's 77% win% on his own second serves (yeah, that's a real stat) and this one should be great. Like possible 5 sets great although the books are pricing this like it's an auto win for Rafa. Great match.

Other one, I see mismatch and think Stan destroys Andy.

Betting that Halep has some issues in this one trying to get that first Slam and kinda guessing this isn't the greatest matchup in that situation, going up against a youngster that has played like she's got nothing to lose. Doubt we see great tennis, it's WTA after all, and Halep should win, but here's to hoping for a mental breakdown or two from her even if she does finally get it. Should be plenty of offense from Ostapenko and typical great defense from Halep, even if it's not technically great, I think it should be entertaining.
