Pretty much a regular

BARCA BARCA BARCA

Price is getting out of hand though, -161 to win in regulation. Think I like the over 2.5

When I watched the Italian Cup between Lazio and Juventus, one thing that stood out to me was how slow Barzagli was in the back for Juve...is he expected to play a part in the CL Final ? No way he can keep up with Barca's forwards.

Tough break for Juventus with Chiellini ruled out tomorrow.

I took Over 2.5 -105 and Barca to win -160 and a little on exact score 2-1 Barca +695.

Messi only -106 to score? Seems like a gimme if you like Barcelona to win in regulation.

I don't think Bayern was even this big of fave vs Chelsea 3 years back ( could be wrong).

Crazy and strange results in this tourney all the time.

Wonder if we see any late money come in on Juve. Maybe wait on Barca?

I played quite a few Messi to scores in the WC only to be sorely disappointed. I know club competitions are much different than national matches, but I think that most opponents that don't play Barca much will look to key in on Messi and not let him beat you so to speak.
Juve is a tough team to play against. They can play the aggressor and shove the ball down your throat. They can dominate possession and knock the ball all over the field. Or they can sit back and absorb pressure, play 10 behind the ball and they are able to mark opponents effectively and make it difficult to score.
I'd expect they will not want to open up play against Barca. Chellini out will be a blow, but it's not as if Juve cannot overcome. Lichsteiner is terrific and can play back, for a more familiar 4 man back line with Evra on the other side. Juve midfield is dilligent in their marking, Vidal, Machioso will be all over the pitch
To me this looks a low scoring affair, 1-0, 2-0 maybe....And I think Suarez will be the danger man. But if that diving cunt neymar wins a dangerous free kick or two, Messi very well might net one today.
Hoping Juve prevail, hate Barca.

Is it a foregone conclusion Barca will win today?
Don't know if it's "foregone", but pretty hard to envision a scenario where Barcelona doesn't win this one going away. I mean, if you look at SOS, Juventus has had a somewhat easier path to the final (an RM team not at it's best, a Dortmund team in a down cycle, and Monaco) as compared to Barcelona (PSG, a Bayern team with injuries but still a force, and City). Plus, don't see how that back four can possibly contend with the speed of Messi, Suarez, and Neymar. Only way I could see Juventus winning is in ET or taking an early lead and parking the bus (can't envision them prevailing if the game turns into a shootout).

The one intangible I could see for Juventus (and this is just me hypothesizing, so it's a stretch) is the fact that the better part of that XI could be gone next season (Pirlo, Tevez, Vidal, Morata, Pogba), so this is pretty much a last dance type scenario (maybe that little extra bounce to their step?) Still might not be enough, though, against this buzzsaw of a squad...

For those who like playing cards, here's what I found on today's match referee Cuneyt Cakir:

http://worldreferee.com/referee/cakir

Not a lot of yellows, but a surprising number of games going over (5-2 OV between Europa and CL this season, and looks like 23-9 OV this decade). Read into that what you want...

I'm going with u2.5

Juve will pack up shop and play prototypical Italian football....wait and counter.
Set pieces is where they will find most advantages with the size and delivery.
Allegri would be dumb to try and play free flow attack against Barca because they will get killed.

Think the goal will most likely come from a surprise. We expect Messi to score but he will be heavily marked making Suarez and Neymar readily available.

It was quite a foregone conclusion that Bayern was suppose to beat Chelsea at the Allianz a few years back....
Well, between Drogba scoring late in regulation and then Chelsea winning on PK's, not sure that's a fair comparison, but point taken.

so when Morata scores in the 88th minute to tie the game and this game is back to penalties is that the only comparision?

This is a CL final everyone is writing off Juve the same way Chelsea were written off.

its a good point that T-Mike makes.

That Bayern team was great, and think you could make an argument that they were just as good maybe even better than this Barca team. I think Juve is better than that Chelsea team in 2012

That Chelsea team was up in airs, a transition was happening there and it really was surprising they made it that far. Roberto Di Matteo the one to bring glory at Chelsea? Bet you if there was a quiz in 10 years time asking which Chelsea manager brought them their first CL trophy few would of gotten the answer correctly.

Brazil XI: Jefferson, Fabinho, Miranda, D.Luiz, Filipe; Casemiro, Fernandinho, Fred, Coutinho, Willian; R. Firmino

Quick look at the stats... DCU 13-3 O/U 0.5 2H, ORL 13-1 O/U 0.5 2H

DCU with a 2H goal in 6 of L7, ORL with 2+ 2H goals in 8 straight, and both meetings this season had a 2H goal.

Might be able to get a decent price by around the 60-65' range.

Ha. I had a 4 game parlay the other night @ +455 that hit with goals at 42', 43', and 45'. Talk about a horseshoe up my ass...

The Australian SASL league and WEstern Australia is a weird one actually. The Victorian League and NTL or whatever the Glenorchy Knights are in are usually good for goals. weird

I know. Everytime I see one of these games where they rack up the score, I keep trying to understand what it could possibly be. I'm guessing half of it is just speed, and the other half just disorganization on defense.

The finland lower leagues is such a major contrast to that of the top division. Jesus that first league is so offensively bad or maybe defensively good but at the lower league the D is just shit lol

The other thing I've noticed is that it's a lot more profitable to take the 1H over or the last 15 minutes like you do. Get a game total of 4.5 and it climbs up by increments of 2 for most of the game, so it makes it a lot harder to hit it multiple times.

4.5, you might get a 1H total of 2.5 at plus money or 1.5 juiced reasonably. If you only get the one goal or zero, 3.5 at HT is pretty reasonable from what I've found.

yup depends on the league though, I've seen some of these games where the over is still only 2.00-2.05 with under 7 to go lol
But I've always only played overs during quarters.

Yup. There was the Sparta Prague women's game early Saturday morning. 10-0 Sparta and they were still dealing OV 10.5 at -150 at the 85', so I took a page out of your playbook and put a couple of bucks on it. 11th goal at 86'.

Meanwhile, other games manage to go scoreless the entire game. WTF?

I just noticed #130 out of 170 - Brazil Serie A. Wow...

It's amazing how with all the attacking power those teams have they just can't score shit or maybe just don't want to?
But what a contrast in styles from Brazil/Argentina to the rest of South America

lol amazing :) I know push my luck and play the 80th onwards depending on the league and scoreline.
Some leagues there's just so much late drama

also I don't know what happened to Japan...it's untouchable at this point with the inconsistencies of scoring
That's why I do like cxbbum and just fall in love with a handful of teams like Kashiwa and Kawasaki. At least you know you're going to get offensive flow, even if it doesn't necessarily translate to goals.

The other thing that blows my mind - the limits on some of these leagues. bet365 has a max bet button, so sometimes I'll push it just out of curiousity. Some of these lower leagues have limits of 10 grand?!? Essentially a game in the park with 50 people watching, and someone in Malaysia is throwing down 10 grand. Unreal...

No wonder these betting syndicates can offer to bribe players if they're throwing that much dough at them.

yeah some teams have traditionally just played with a specific system no matter the coaches and players.
the lower leagues are terrible though.
But i do remember that league was just flowing with goals a few years back but I just think whenever the scoring decreases in a league I find the usual case is that the parity has shorten and that the quality of D has finally caught up to the quality of the O
