Atrocious play calling at that point. Georgia last week, one week after it had gotten killed with by GT with a mobile QB and the one read. Sarkisian's response to that? Get Manning all of one snap in the SEC championship game. Those are just a couple examples. People are still mystified with the Georgia game, especially Sarkisian's response after the game: "We probably should have considered Arch a little more." Da hell? Who was game planning?
You can be an offensive savant but if you're not applying that, for whatever reason, in game then it's sorta worthless.
