I saw police using some pepper spray trying to break up the fight between Howard and North Carolina Central. So it does happen. I don't think the Ohio police discriminate one side vs the other, historically they have pepper sprayed OSU fans on the field after the game. But every situation is different.
What I hate is Gus Johnson acting how offended and embarrassed he is that a fight broke out. I can't stand that guy anymore. Plus his network is going to chop up all that footage and use it to hype next year's game and every year's game from this point forward like they have with all the other fights through the years.

I like Sawyer the player -- had no clue what sort of lunatic he was till watching some pre and post game footage today. Wow.
OSU players taunting Mich as they came onto the field today was simply showing they thought this was over before it even began. That falls on the coaching staff, no doubt.

This is 3 Michigan games this year involving this.
