Fairway to Heaven
I think that I am down 65$ on the year on posted plays. First play is from the Sr. Tour.

There were 3 potential fades on the old fart tour i was looking at. Decided to fade Sindelar. If you use google news search you can find an article detailing his rehab. Huston top 10'd here last year.

Westwood over Vijay round one

This play was to win 80. The site was down the night i was trying to post it , so i didnt have time for a writeup in the am. I liked that lee moved to florida and had been training all off-season, also liked that his dad was his am partner, plus he has a history at pebble. I really liked Langely after his interviews but couldnt pull the trigger because of his recent form.

huston looking good. double on 18 is disappointing but still a strong showing. i would be shocked if sindelar goes low tomorrow. gotta feeling that back will be mighty sore in the morning. gl

Yea i was surprised with how well sindelar played. 2 other guys were returning off injury, hoch and sutton. Hoch must have wd'd prior to teeing off (will look for him next week..). Let's hope John can do some separation next round.

omg that wedge shot that harbaugh just hit on 7 was one of the top 5 worst shots that ive ever seen.

Holy shit Phil has loaded up the ocean on the 18th the past 2 days. 4 balls. Since we have all done it before, I will refrain from posting the video of Phil.

This Hahn character looks to be something serious. Pat Reed is a stud and Sned is the best player on tour not named Tiger or Rory.

When your a scratch golfer and playing with an average pro in the pro am and you are competing for the title, you have serious game.

[h=1]Tony Romo is playing some pretty incredible golf this week at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am[/h]<cite class="byline vcard">

Tony Romo — APIf you've ever played a pro-am, you know there are a few keys to success; make some putts, help your partner out, and get as many shots as possible. The latter isn't something Tony Romo can currently lean on at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but no worries, because the Cowboys quarterback is still in contention with his partner after two days thanks to some steller play and domination with his driver.
Romo and partner Jordan Speith are in the top-10 after the first two rounds thanks in large part to Romo, who has really helped out his PGA Tour partner with his play at both Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. On Thursday, Romo drove the par-4 5th hole at MPCC but failed to convert the eagle putt (he settled for a birdie) but did make eagle on the par-5 6th hole after three fantastic golf shots.
Speith shot even par on Thursday, but Romo picked him up plenty of times as the team combined to post a round of 8-under 62. On Friday, Romo and Speith combined for a round of 7-under 65 thanks to five back-nine birdies from Romo on the harder Spyglass Hill.

“It was good to kind of get it going a little bit,” Romo told the Dallas Morning News. “It’s fun playing with Jordan. He’s playing so good, so it’s fun to be out there. He’s got everything you need. He’s got a real bright future. It’s a marathon not a sprint, and he’s going to be one of the good ones.”
People need to understand just how good Romo is at this game. Sure, we can sit here and make jokes about him as a Cowboys quarterback and pressure, but the guy is a damn good golfer and he's showing it this week at Pebble just like he showed it when he got through local qualifying at the U.S. Open in 2010 (there are plenty of great mini tour golfers that have never advanced through local qualifying).
If he and Speith make it to Sunday in the pro-am, it will be mostly because of Romo's play this week, and that isn't normally something you say to a guy paired with a future star on the PGA Tour.
