Yeah - seems like one of those times people are pounding a team that needs a win vs a team that has nothing to play for

have you seen cards in extras? it everything they have to get that guy home on second let alone anyone else! Mfers are the Kings of having runner on 3rd less than 2 outs and leaving him standing there at end of inning! both pens are really good, in lot of cases better than starter so in this rare instance think it better going full game opposed to FF. I’m guessing ff lost last night (didn’t even look at it but assuming it was 3.5) but game under cashed easily. Just not worried about either these offenses doing damage to the pens.

my only concern with the dh’s if we run into a situation where one team feels out of it in game 1 and elects to use scrubs and save the top pen guys for game 2.

Imo baseball isn’t like the other team sports. I don’t think that kind of thing helps, if anything can hinder as pressing or “trying” harder can often make you be much worse at the plate!!

I didn’t say you were buddy. I was just saying why I wouldn’t think that be a great idea. I don’t like the idea of taking teams that “need it” real often in any sport, just seems baseball be even less so.

I’m sticking to just playing these unders In stl all weekend. Think I go 4-1 at worst! Lol

Nice. Cards must wrongly think they still in this at 3-0, brought in gant. Dunno what makes them think they have any chance to score 4 runs against milw pen? Fun fact, every time cards have had a chance to get to 3 games over .500 this year they have lost!! Lol

Got game 1 under but a little concerned with game 2 considering Williams and Hader threw lot of pitches. Bright side cards prob can’t hit anyone in milw pen right now!
