Friday starting pitchers

How is houser a favorite? He’s actually been worse than I remember. I like Duffy. I’m confounded by that number.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Gallen was dealing with "a little bit of discomfort" with the fingernail of his pitching hand during Saturday's outing against the Mariners, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports. (9/15/2020)

That actually makes sense. He was rolling along 2 starts ago and came out in the 6th inn and couldn’t record an out and got rocked for 4 runs. Next start he gave up 7 runs to the mariners. I was wondering what was going on with him.

the bullpen him is a bunch of landmines so this makes it easy for me to skip my ARI lean, though i foolishly laid off of them in Anaheim beating that lifeless team with a sack of shit for a manager

others i'm looking at are Ray in a bullpen game where he possibly blows up, but won't need to go deep in a game thanks to it only being 7 innings. That limits the pen disadvantage for PHI, but they can't get an out reliably and I'm not sure Eflin can do that really either. TOR has to be happy to get away from NYY who is starting to heat up and took it all out on them

Speaking of NYY, the bullpen is not close to expectations and they should smack Perez around no matter if he somehow tightropes through these games regularly. Not convinced Montgomery goes deep in the game, nor that he will give 4.2 with only 1r as that would really harm an over play. Saw it trending downward at 10.5, which seems light to me in that bandbox known as Fenway. Can't say anything about the BOS bullpen so if Perez isn't great then that NYY team total over is hitting

Hendricks really cheap and I wish i knew more about the CHW starter as that team is far better (lineup and bullpen) than CIN and it looks like a bullpen game all around
