i heard on the radio there more games being played today than any other single day since i dunno when? ever maybe? wanna say they said sometime in the '60s but not sure how that woulda been possible?
 
anyone have any theories on what the fuck been going on with boyd this year? not that long ago he was a guy a lot of teams wanted to trade for!!

one of those hot prospects who hasn't turned out and doesn't look like he ever will

i'm not a SD believer, but Luzardo is laying a big price for a team who hasn't played in a week and wasn't playing well leading up to the postponed games

Luzardo has a great arm, but i'm not sure he's a great pitcher yet while Davies has been surprisingly great

that seems a little dismissive of a guy who posted a couple pretty solid seasons no? not like he onljy had a small stretch of good pitching, he was at least what id consider a really good 3 maybe 4 for a good team for a few years. his k's per 9 still very strong and walk rate not bad.
 
outside marwin gonzalez Boyd has done really well vs most the twinks lineup, collectively they only own a .640 ops vs him
 
babip way way up for castillo this year which you would think would go down unless it a case of him missing to much over the plate? didnt vc write some stuff about him before one his last few starts?

Under 8 there for me. Like Phils TT over 4' -120 too
 
castillo fip and xfip surprisingly is the lowest of his career so he must be doing something right, obviously the strikeouts are way up there which a huge part of it, along with the high babip and low strand rate. i dont consider those things to be as much about luck as they do tho. case by case basis imo as i think often times there are legit reasons for those being high or low.
 
hoping im able to catch some the yanks game and see this kid pitch, he the highest rated player in yanks farm system?

nats/braves over 8.. 1st over im playing in one these 7 inning deals. milone has handled this lineup but nats one the best lefty hitting teams in the league and this the 3rd crack they getting at him, just cant imagine a lineup sporting a .892 ops vs lefties is gonna continue getting shit on by tommy milone who has held them to a .668 ops in 10 innings this year. voth not scaring anyone, braves are mashing, he been getting creamed during the day and braves have already got himn for 5 runs in 4 innings once this year.

i don't think i'm being dismissive, he's been horrible after being labeled a major prospect
