Played Utah for 3 units. Love it. Great line, great spot. Utah with big revenge from the blowout OKC handed them a couple weeks back, and coming into this game on a 4 game losing streak. They are 9th in the west right now, and need wins. Do worry htey let up late to prep for divison game Portland 2m, but they need this and want this game too much. I think this line flies up, but thats just speculation

my thoughts exactly...just hit it.. i'm sure it's gonna reach 6 or 6.5 by game time tomorrow...need some BAR thoughts on his team, but boston back on their roll and detroit on their decline
 
Hate the celtics, but -5 against the terrible pistons is hard to pass up. The pistons won at MINN but if anyone watched they game they were down by 12 points with five minutes left through the third. If this happened against the Celtics, they don't stand a chance...looking forward to see where the line jumps tomorrow. Otherwise Celtics, first play of the year on them...BIG

Not a chance. This isn't a playoff team right now. They don't have AK or boozer so their bench is horrible w/out AK and Milsap coming off of it. Miles and Brewer seem to be lost and are being threatened on a weekly basis for their jobs, but Sloan knows better. If he has to start Korver and or Harpring the bench will really be in shambles. They lost 4 home games ALL of last year and they've already lost 6 this year. There isn't a guy on the roster, minus Ak, who has any idea how to play defense. When you give up 105 a night it's a tall task to cover 8 points w/out 2 of your best 3 players.

The Atlanta line is ridiculous. Jersey owns that team and Atlanta is not playing good ball right now.

But that's a bloated line. Atlanta is a streaky team, they thrive off confidence, and they're just in a funk right now. Jersey's won something like 4 or 5 in a row SU vs. Atlanta if I'm not mistaken and they match up well. It's 7.5 b/c of Atlanta's impressive home record. But Jersey has 11 SU wins on the road, they're solid, that debacle in Okie City notwithstanding.

Bucks w/out Ridnour, Redd, and Bogut now. Indy held them to 99 points and Minny held them to 83. Expect the Raps to keep them in the high 80's low 90's. 101-92 final. total opener should be 203 or so and I will be playing the under.
 
appreciate the ridnour info. just found that article. if bogut plays i'd more than happy as his defense has been extremely missed by the bucks. either way he won't play more than 20 mins.
 
Jersey is 2-7 ATS since Jianlian got injured, while Atlanta is 4-6 ATS since Horford got injured. Atlanta has also already lost 3 times to the Nets this season.
 
I really can't understand the rush to bet on Boston to be honest. I've watched all Pistons games lately and they are improving both mentally, socially and professionaly. Rip and Dyce play well with the second unit, Sheed and Iverson look decent together and despite the fact that Pistons fall many times behind, lately they have found the strength to get back to the game, lost sometimes (Rockets and Hornets), won a couple of times (Memphis and Minni), but are improving.
Boston on the other hand made a great run lately and just as after previous great run, it's time to cool down a bit. They won Pistons twice already and after they won them in the conference finals last season, I would say that Pistons rate this game higher than the Celtics do and I think that Boston are already in Thursday night in their final regular season game against the Lakers.
I also remember B.C. posting about ATS run since KG and Allen joined the team and a win ATS tomorrow will break this record (B.C., correct me if I'm wrong).
I really don't beleive that home win for the Pistons on Celtics will really surprise anyone, so the rush on Celtics to win Pistons on a road with the 5 points line really doesn't make much sense to me.

Agreed. The line is probably just what it should be, no real value to speak of, and I'm as confused as you are about all the Boston love.
 
This season after a ats loss and then a ats cover Detroit has failed to cover in the next game 2 times. Once a b-b game in Utah and the other after a upset win. At least one game will be up that I will likely hit hard but its not available now. Portland in 2 days for very likely bet as well. Things have been going very well for them and they have been waiting for Utah for a Long time. Could get very ugly.
 
If I was forced to make a bet on that game it would be the Kings. As it happens I am not forced and am unlikely to play the game. Think it would be easy to make a convincing write up for either side but to be right might not be easy.
 
If Dungleavy grabbed Baron by the throat and said "You can take 6 shots this game. Make them good and the rest of the time pass the ball or get the hell out of the game" Clippers would be a great play. Not expecting that to happen so it gets tough to call.

I got my eye on that one too. I hope Utah's losing streak has ended before that game - the fact they're 12-1 SU at home to the West this season suggests it should be.
 
thats a big number for the sixers to be laying

i see kind of a close game with them getting some free throws at the end for a 6 to 8 point win
 
LAC/CLE - i think CLE will cover this -16 ... plus big Z is back....and i know the cavs would love to take out their frustrations on an easy opponent.. i like to compare this game to SAC/BOS -17 the other night... compare LAC to SAC... and BOS to CLE.. SAC is way better than LAC.. and CLE can take on BOS any day of the week.. so i do believe cavs will cover this -16 after halftime when the clippers fall apart...

As for the OKC/UTAH game... im really leaning towards OKC +9 as OKC has covered the last 2 meetings with UTAH... and utah is very vulnarable right now OKC this time around is a much better team who has picked up pace...
 
Yeah, but that last meeting at Staples was well before Minny put up this block of SU/ATS streak that they're on. I'd guess -10/11 at worst.
 
Not that easy. Cleveland is playing worst 3 in 4 and has one day off and then plays their rematch with Detroit. Thorton and Gordon are on a bounce back from two terrible games and Camby is likely to be playing much better. Honestly if it were not for the chemistry destroyer Baron see this as a fairly simple play on the Clippers but nothing is easy with that clown playing. See 2 first half bets i expect to like but they are not up yet.

But you gotta expect Kobe and co. to bounce big after that embarassing home loss to the Pussycats.

What's with the Bulls line, moved 2 points, but I can't find anyone missing? Like the bulls here, who need to start winning and Kings returning from a East coast trip with little rest, also being in tank mode.
 
About the Cleveland Game this has happen couple time a few week back. Cleveland loses on the road and is a hugh favorite at home and covered.
..Dec30 Lost to Miami on the road, comes home and was favored by -12.5 against Chicago and won 117-92 covered by 25.

..Jan4 Lost to Washington on the road, comes home and is favored by -14 to Charlotte and won 111-81 covered by 30.

..Jan15 Lost to Chicago on the road, comes home and was favored by only -2.5 to New Orleans and won 92-78 covered by 14.

..Jan24 Won against Utah on the road, comes home and was favored by -14 to Sacramento and won 117-100 covered by 17.

I like the Cleveland Play
