...gonna take some stones to fade Price, but TOR is a team that is far overpriced right now

Yep from MLB.com

Carrasco has strung together a strong run in six outings since the All-Star break, logging a 2.51 ERA and a .163 opponents' batting average in that span.

Tanaka off complete game and 4.11 ERA at home this season. I'll take the 34 cents here. GL brother wave..

I'm going to be on Rockies TT over. Fatman's fastball will clear the wall a couple of times at least, hopefully with someone on base. Can't trust COL BP so TT is over is what I am doing.

Royals struggle mightily against rookie SP's they are seeing for first time....Chi Chi Gonz, Reds' Iglesias, Matt Boyd, Dan Norris all have shut them down of late.

Carrasco has 2 great outings at Yankee stadium as well

Yanks were hosed by Iassogna yesterday way too many times. Absolutely brutal

Has there been anyone more hardluck than Shelby Miller the last few months .. August is almost over, the guy has pitched amazing and hasn't booked a personal win since May 17 !!! That is with 11 games where he gave up 2 or less runs !!!! Amazing.

Gave up just four hits over 7 ip vs cubs in game he got the loss (what amounted to 2 run error on dp ball) despite giving up just one earned run (homer). He has only allowed one multi-hr game this year which makes him a decent fit for a game at Wrigley.

Has to be worth a shot at this price, even with the braves bats, or lack thereof, right? Surely the 1.5 line is decent.

And while going against anyone named kyle is problematic at best, Hendricks has been in bad form lately.

i prefer to bet against people named Kyle...

and that ATL offense is offensive

Will be on the over in Pitt in some form most likely. For the most part due to the umpire pitcher history....put that in the ump thread. Haven't looked at the card much yet.

Re Houston just off the top I would wait and play Houston in game after 4 innings depending on the situation. Houston simply wins if this gets to the pens but Houston hitting have been pathetic and I am not sold on their starter. This could change based on ump.

Price on 6 is very good. I believe a low 1. Looked it up last night but did not write it down

I've been playing Gray on 5 inning line because in addition to shitty pen he's on an innings limit that is fast approaching. So far 2-0-1 on that.

Seriously I can't take you seriously if you think Carrassco is a popular dog over Tanaka in Yankee stadium. It's not a matter of opinion.

he's a great pitcher with a big pricetag, hence I expect him to be popular

just wanted to make sure nobody reading your comment was misinformed that the indians are a public dog.... your expectations and real life are two different things

public joe isn't researching all day and creating lines for each pitcher.... they see the yankees off a loss at less than -150 at home with the very popular well known tanaka and they bet on them.

So the Red Sox have scored 4 runs or more in:

11 of their last 12 overall
12 of their last 15 at home
11 of their last 14 against the Royals
11 of their last 14 against the Royals at home

And yet their team total is juiced under at 3.5. Think this might be yet another example of the books being smarter than us...

his $20 bet may help your 82% tally on one side, but I'd be much more worried about the 18%er betting 2k. But that's if i even believed SI had a reason to give correct information, which we really don't need to get into

giving them way too much credit

This is probably a wiser bet. My Colorado bet was purely a fade of the fat man. He's been a total gas can and heading into coors. Good luck.

Had very little time today. In NY Major homer ump, Pitt 13-0 last 13 shutouts and then a home game. Pitt 18-3 last 21 at home on Friday. Feeling small bet on Pitt

cueto has sick numbers with the ump

you stated cleveland is a public dog dude... that is flat out wrong.... it may be sharp money on cleveland sure... but its not a public dog.... thats all i was saying

you actually think SI sits there and spits out fake %s for every game.... books giving out %'s doesn't give away ANYTHING.... its one tool... public wins plenty of the time and having all that information in front of you can lead you to make more wagers than you intend to.... thats one major plus for sportsbooks..

the information alone is useless

I agree with Pitt being the right side just can't bet against the Bum the way he's pitching right now . Like Cleveland/Yankees Under Bet that this morning Un 7.5 -120 Also going to play Colorado but waiting thinking I can get another penny or two. I'm funny that way.

The Pads +115 I'll take that. Had Washington XNFL last night rolling that over into Seattle caught a +3.5 -105 and still looking at the late games and a possible Atlanta XNFL bet only if I can catch a +3. Hey Hugh, love watching Cueto pitch but Ov 3.5 -105 Total for Boston does seems low. Someone tell me in the last game Chen pitched for Balt he threw 117 pitches in a 18-2 blow out don't have time to look at the box score but 18 runs it seem that game was out of hand early and now nring him back with regular rest don't get that. Minny may surprise.

I agree it's just like putting a reader board on a Roulette Game it's leads you to make more wagers and leads you also into looking at systems when a game hit's a certain % it becomes an auto fade and so on and so on.

first start @ Fenway

When Hanley Ramirez and Johnny Cueto were spotted chatting before Thursday’s game at Fenway Park, it was reasonable to wonder whether they discussed uniting for the Boston Red Sox in 2016. The Red Sox need a front-line starter and Cueto is one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball. He also happens to be a free agent this offseason and at least is open to signing with Boston, according to WEEI’s.com’s Rob Bradford. “It depends,” Cueto told Bradford through Ramirez before Thursday’s game on if he would sign with the Red Sox. “Because I’m a free agent, and I’m just going to pick the best choice to go. The main thing — I would like to come here because it’s a championship-caliber team.” The Kansas City Royals acquired Cueto from the Cincinnati Reds before the July 31 MLB non-waiver trade deadline. The move figures to be a rental for the small-market Royals in their quest for a World Series title. Cueto’s long-term future could reside elsewhere. Boston is a logical landing spot for Cueto because of the organization’s need for starting pitching. The right-hander is turning 30 in February, though, and the Red Sox have been reluctant to give lucrative, long-term contracts to pitchers on the wrong side of 30. It’ll be interesting to see if the hiring of Dave Dombrowski as the club’s president of baseball operations will change that philosophy in any way. According to Bradford, Cueto said he once thought he might land with Boston via trade. But the Red Sox weren’t in a position to become buyers at this year’s trade deadline. The offseason could be a different story. The Sox will be looking to retool and Cueto will be there for the taking. “I never thought in my career to play here, but people like it,” Cueto told Bradford. “This is baseball and anything can happen.” It’s not exactly a bold statement, but hey, at least Cueto is keeping an open mind about his future. Perhaps Ramirez and David Ortiz can put the bug in the fellow Dominican All-Star’s ear this weekend.

Redsox TT Under 3.5 -115

Last play of the night is going to be the Rockies 1st 5 innings ML -108

reasons are stated throughout this thread

Two more unearned runs for Shelby and another loss. He is not running lucky.

sounds a bit like Chris Sale/Quintana earlier this year, but the consistent theme is both those teams suck...

Yet somehow Mr. Sale is favored in a night of the King's Court tonight?????

Actually reminds me of Matt Cain a bunch of years back .. we used to joke he was screwing the other players wives or something and they refused to give him run support.
