So OKC has been slapped around twice and has had the pleasure of watching Utah walk on Chicago. Why do I have serious doubts about Utah tomorrow

Oklahoma, Denver and Bulls are the early leans.
Bulls playoff revenge off a bad loss at home
I will continue to fade the Kings in spots that I like

Also, both Wizards and Kings fall under BC's trend - second game at home after long trip...

I was on them both times and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I said that's it no more OKC. But tonight I'm saying one more time at this big number so I need more time to pull this trigger. But I'm thinking just what you are.

Like Both Bulls and Denver and on them now. Good Luck tomorrow guys.

they already beat the wiz in washington this season??

Yes, but still... I feel that at least partially, the loss to the Jazz was due to a look ahead to the game in DC.
Obviously the angle itself not always working, but at least I, firmly believe that good teams, tend to remember really well teams that eliminated them from the playoffs.

I'm probably looking at this wrong but I don't understand the Denver love here....it is the second game back for Sac but they stopped half way home and had two games in the central time zone with 2 days off between games...Denver does have three wins in a row but have been road/home/road/home/road for a week now while Sac is settling in for a six game home stretch where they play well....Denver sucks on the road 5-12 and Sac ok at home 9-10 (i think) and Sac matches well with Denver....who is going to stop DeMarcus? He should have a field day.

Have to do more work but kinda like Wiz and would like to grab the points with the jazz but I'm afraid that OKC is going to put the clamps on them and shut them down defensively...probably just under there

gsw line reeks of a blowout....but how do you lay that many

ride the red hot pistons?

i have a very strong lean to Nuggz....
Besides BC's trend - nuggz have 5 days off after this game....
No one will stop Cousins besides himself,,,, he is unhappy they fired Malone, and has acted out a few times since the firing,, can't cap this shit but i see at least 1 T if not 2..... I do like the matchup and will come down to the end.. and i like the nuggz catching the points...

bummer...you make good points...already played sac....maybe can hedge out at half....thanks for input

fyi....watched the knicks last night....they were so bad....turned the ball over a lot and showed virtually no cohesiveness although I don't know how you could expect them to....how funny were the 5 guys in the stands with the paper bags on....hou never broke a sweat and were so dominant that I played them at half laying 17.5 for the game....even hou scrubs outplayed them...going to be fade material for a while i think

Just started looking. Lean to Boston. Much better rest. Indiana playing off a 10-19 point loss at home is 1-3 ATS. Celtics in last game had 6 turnovers and 22 assists. When I went by Cokin's blog today his free pick was the Suns. I need a lot more time on that game.

Very likely to be on NO. Teams has not lost off a loss at home. 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS Excellent day of week. Team is 4-0 SU and ATS with wins this season at home vs Houston, Spurs, Cleveland and Minn On some of these games I am simply waiting on trend sites.

Denver has won 3 in a row, ranked 3rd in the NBA in rebounding and 12th in points. The Sacramento squad has defensive problems, 27th in points allowed. The Kings are on a 4-15-2 ATS run and 1-5-2 ATS in their last 8 home games. When these teams the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the Nuggets are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Sacramento. People were calling the Kings the Phoenix Suns of last year after 3 weeks of the season. The Kings are the Kings and the 29 wins that were projected for them when the season started should hold. The Kings are 4-9 in the Favorite role this year.

Just bet the Suns for an average amount. Was intending to do a detailed study but when I went to the RX I checked Rolltide's thread. He has never lost betting on the Suns but did lose once betting against them once when I was on them. For what its worth I worry about 1 of the refs but think Parker is very likely to have another bad game like the 13 minute did nothing game he had last start and with Leonard out and Parker an apparent non factor the Spurs have a real problem. Make your own call. Locked in Boston plus 4 I think this was part of the reasoning his group used View Post PLAY ON 1H season undervalued DD dog off non-cover vs big fav off cover (77-23, 4-5 in 2014) Play on Cleveland +12 OPPOSE teams off home fav loss where they led by 16+ and trailed by 6+ in same game (5-23, 2-0 in 2014) Play on Phoenix -5

FYI - Brandan Wright is available. Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge has informed the 6-10 center that he's on the block and should expect to be on another team. That's why Wright had a head-scratching DNP this week on a team that could use his skill set.
- If Jameer Nelson gets bought of his contract, he could end up in a Wizards uniform.

I put this in here for those looking at the C's game.....

this to:

Hearing that the Jeff Green-to-Memphis trade talks are heating up. Discussions between the Celts and Grizz, I'm told, getting more serious..

Watch to see if he is inactive tonight...

FWIW Randolph is back tonight.

No CBB tonight, so might dabble here.

Hawks seems like a sucker play at this #, but DET is on fire right now. The disease is gone

FWIW Indiana Team Total is 101 tonight and they're 2-7 breaking 100 first game back from the road regardless of how long. Just something to thing about.

Read these weird trends:
This game fits a powerful NBA System that plays on home favorites with 1 day of rest that lost to the spread as a road dog at +5 or higher and scored 100 or more in the loss, if they allowed 110 or more and their opponent lost and failed to cover by 7 or more points as a road dog. These teams win by an average 106-92 score.

I know. Likely to play it anyway but not a sure thing. Refs in the GS game are extreme. 10 plus favorites are up against it. 2-15 so far. against 205 or higher 3-19 under

Spurs off a bad loss and eligible to teaser down to win outright...Where do i sign up?
Any casino will do. Best angle for you is Spurs off an upset loss are 6-2 ATS this season. Do not want to bore by listing all the angles operating against them.

Total aspects are very tough. Going back to 2003 the Celtics are 10-0 over as a road dog after 2 games when they shot less than 40%. After a while the sheer number of conflicting trends becomes Very hard to deal with. Everyone is on the over in the Nets game today because of the refs but based on spot and trends it is a very easy under so you have to make tough decisions

Brian Forte is one of those refs. With Philadelphia he has gone under 7 in a row so the ref card is scarcely a lock

True, but considering no one on the current Celtics roster has even been there for more than 3 years (at least I don't think) let alone since 2003 (Raef LaFrentz, FTW!), not sure how applicable that one is.

The way I see it, some trends carry a lot of weight (two teams that constantly go under against one another because of slow pace and tough defense, an Eastern team that can't handle the faster style of the Western teams, etc...), while others I would say are more happy coincidence than anything else. Doesn't mean it's wrong to take a look, just that it might not be as instructive as some others might be.

Boston is finalizing a trade to send forward Brandan Wright to the Phoenix Suns, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

this will certainly help my future bet with them....

what you say Tuck?

Phoenix is sending Boston a future draft pick for Brandan Wright, absorbing Wright into an exception, league source tells Yahoo.

Phoenix is sending Boston the first-round pick that it owns via Minnesota, league source tells Yahoo Sports. $$$$

Milwaukee after a win ATS at home is 2-5 Wins 10 or greater they are 0-4 and they play at Chicago tomorrow and they are a 9 point favorite. I see one problem though. Minn has beaten Milwaukee 4 in a row badly before the last game so I need to think about it

Certainly interesting. Need to look him up but am sure I will read write ups on it. Hope it helps both teams.

I had a similar discussion with hugh recently on how teams respond after shooting 40% or less the next game preferably the next day but that always can't be the case but I think you get a better feel for how they react after a bad shooting night. Also I've been following a trend for a while and it's just the opposite. How does a team react after shooting better then 53% the next day well preferably the next day.
I'm doing that as we speak as for back testing but just for the past 5 years just want out of curiosity to see what the numbers are. Sports are just a game of numbers and variance plays a big part of gambling. I'm a believer that Trends should play a part when looking at games. The market has become so tight that as gamblers we need other things to try and find games in which we FEEL we have a slight edge in. That's why money management is so important. Thanks for you input and that what makes this site excellent guys that throw out information about what they think is important even if the person that's reading it doesn't think it's worth anything somebody may think it is and that should be respected.:shake:

That Minnesota pick for the Suns is most definitely going end up being a 2nd rounder given the protection

For all you fantasy baskets players

pick up James young immediately....
going to fill a stat sheet

I'm on OKC. Going to tread lightly. Placed a considerably large bet on the Suns/Spurs over. Also think Spurs turn it around today, Suns seemed hella tired last 2 games.

The Kings are 4-9 in the Favorite role this year.

not arguing, this is just fwiw...nuggs 3rd in rebounding...sac 8th...sac 27th in points allowed...nuggs 24th....nuggs 12 in points scored....sac 11th...these teams are statistically similar and sac is at home playing a very poor road team....the head to head trends are troubling for a sac bettor though so you have a solid point there....just don't see how denver answers DeMarcus if he goes off....good luck paulie,i enjoy your stuff and wish you the best

Did a fairly disgusting parlay to get off Boston with Hibbert in and Green out

Boston is trash...total tank and non competitive

Danny is full rebuild and the product is awful right now...im a season tix holder and honestly have given away my seats for the past 6 weeks

I'm probably looking at this wrong but I don't understand the Denver love here...

I think it's more a matter of anti-Sacto sentiment. The coaching change was a disaster, and we have extra value after a Sacto win vs. a discombobulated post-trade OKC team. Westbrick and Waiters combined to go 3-28 from the field.

Dammit -- missed the tipoff. Was going to play Utah. Being a parent really makes it hard to stay on top of things.

Are you just figuring this out now Ret??
