I agreed with a lot of bears plays on yesterday’s podcast. He loves Nevada, as do I. He on messy st which def where im leaning. Pretty sure he gave Troy out on the podcast so that should make his counting plays, not sure bout that one but only way I would play.

I see you not worried bout the stinky ass line for iowa? Kinda crazy that wasn’t closer to -7! Very interesting game, good vs good with Terps offense vs the iowa d! Think that a watch and see for me, certainly Cant fault ya for taking iowa at that short number!!

I do too. I'm leaning to Miss St too, but I can't find any report on all the guys who were carried off the field last week. Three, maybe four, good players on the Miss St D, including their best CB who played lights out against LSU. I don't even see them listed on any injury list.

I didn’t know bout the messy injuries, as you said they have nobody on the injury report! Guess im gonna have to do some reading.

I dunno if I’m the acc king this season, lol. I loved BC till their qb went down. Grosel played decent vs mizzou but he had the benefit of the ground game gashing the tigers (as many will), can they run on Clemson? I’m not sure. Tigers have taken some big losses to their defense and ability to stop the run. Ncst had success (wish I knew they would get back to giving their rbs 20+ touches after totally abandoning them at messy, that gm fucked me all up as it made me question ncst!). If BC can get Garwo going I don’t see why they can’t be right in game with a chance to win. Problem is I think that their only avenue, just like I was scared for ncst if they put game totally in Leary hands (like they did at messy) if grosel asked to make the bc offense go I’d be nervous. Crazy as it sounds BC defense should have a easier time containing Clemson offense than they did with mizzou dink and dunk attack. I Havnt seen DJ show any ability to be consistent enough in the passing game to move up and down the field like mizzou did. Nor do I think Clemson has the ability to line up a push BC around with the run game. There no chance in hell I’d lay the points that’s for sure. BC gave a good Clemson team a game last year so tigers will have their hands full here. Concerns me that I can’t imagine anyone running to back Clemson tho, how could you? Popular dogs scare me.

Pains me cause I like liberty but think you on right side w UAB.

I love cincy so my bias might be getting in the way but I’ve said all along they were gonna beat Hoosiers and then ND. I certainly wasn’t thrilled with how Bearcats played at indy, I guess it says something they played one the worst games I’ve seen from them and still managed to win by dd! They can’t play that way this week and win that for sure. I think the bye came at a great time, after that crap performance i think fickle prob had their full attention in practice which might not have been the case had they just rolled Hoosiers.

Irish been really strong as dogs under Kelly but I do think this a really strong line for cincy (I thought they would be small dogs before nd spanked wiscy, line shocked me after that!). Unlike most theses group of 5s cincy has nfl players on that dline (and secondary!), they should be very tough for a Irish oline who hasn’t been good (122nd ypr amd 120th in sack rate against!). Really think Bearcats d owns this game and I don’t think ridder will make mistakes on O. Long as Bearcats come in and play buttoned up I think they win this game by a td or more. If they play anywhere close to as sloppy as they did at Indy they will lose. Really believe we will get their A game tho, we get both teams A game I think cincy the better team.

It was great for cincy playoff chances nd won last week but I’m afraid when all said and done Irish gonna have a few losses which obviously hurt Bearcats. Right now tho they gotta be thinking they win this game they be in a great position to be 1st group of 5 to steal a playoff spot!
 
I was right I like a lot of bears card. Already played the Wku over but think I will end up on them also. Lean lsu with those guys, they still hard for me to trust but that line feels a little short considering the environment Auburn walking into.

Agree. DJ looks lost and now they have lost their starting RB.

I'm really tempted by the big number Ole Miss is getting, but I have saved a lot of money over the last five years since I made it a rule never to bet against Bama. Same with Arkansas, but the Hogs have played at a high level every game. Not sure how much they have left in the tank. Like Rutgers getting the big number also. And unlike Ole Miss and Arkansas, they are at home.

Got any ideas on any of those three?

I think Texas is underrated now that Thompson is at QB, and TCU has been overrated all year. I win consistently if I stay disciplined and avoid giving points on the road and other foolish things, so I'll likely pass on Texas.

I'd be a lot happier if the books would drop the hook on Okla St, W Virginia, and LSU, but I'm leaning to all three.

I want to play Ol miss also but scared of Bama. Still kinda mad I passed on gators but not sure it real smart to try it after I coulda cashed that game. I really like ole miss, I think they capable of making this a game or even winning but like you said, not smart fading bama. Prob just pass.

I dunno if hogs can score? I think I like Their team total or game under in that one. Gotta think Uga runs a lot to try and get arky out of that 6db look they like to play. It a ton of points, I have no interest laying it but I do think hogs Avenue of covering ties directly to the under as i don’t think they can score much against a uga defense I think one the better we have seen in some time. Under feels like the best play to me.

Texas has Ou on deck, that combined w Patterson history vs them scares me. I think tcu defense is atrocious so I lean horns also but it a pass for me as well.

I Havnt really looked into Rutgers yet. I don’t see any world where I would lay it with Ohio st (pretty much same with all these, feels like too many points but also feel like dogs that gonna be popular).

I do too. I think they are better than Florida and I think this game is bigger for Ole Miss than it is for Bama. But I try to never make any bet that is less than 54% long term. A buddy of mine said he is playing a two-team parlay of Bama ML/Ole Miss +14x. I like the idea of a two team with Ole Miss and Arkansas better

Thinking I might just wait and see with ol miss, maybe get a better number live or at half if bama jumps out like they usually do? I typically hate doing that cause obviously run the risk of not getting to play it, in this case might not be worst thing. Lol

I had it wrong about the parlay. My buddy, who is a good handicapper and is in the black this year, says he's making two separate bets, one on Bama ML one on Ole Miss with the points. Not a bad approach, but I'm still passing

Strange approach imo. If I like ol piss to stay within 2 scores I don’t wanna have a bama ml ticket. I know it crazy to even say out loud but I think ol piss might just pull this off! Another one those predictions I could be left looking real stupid, really fast! Lol.

If anyone gonna beat bama before the sec champ or playoffs this the team imo. I don’t think AM has the goods on offense to give bama problems. Not only is lane offense the kind saban hates to defend but Lane has a notebook full of things he learned saban struggles to defend from back when he worked for him!! Id say that pretty meaningful! Maybe I’m crazy and bama is primed to run the table yet again, they do seem a tad more vulnerable than in recent years tho, and ol miss did have them on the ropes for 3 quarters last season! I think it fair to say bama isn’t quite as good yet this year and ol miss is improved on the defensive side.

For tonight I’m playing byu 1st half. Just can’t ignore how utah st has fallen behind dd in every freaking game, on the other hand byu has gotten off to good starts vs everyone, if this works out good chance I play utah st at half.

Might be crazy but like the over 47 in iowa/Terps game. I think Terps will be able to move the ball, just not sure if they will finish drives? Iowa gonna have to score 27ish to win this game I think.
 
A couple of weeks ago I had that game circled as a Utah State bet, but the way they fell apart last week in the red zone was so bad I dropped that idea. I like your idea of BYU first half

Lol. I hear ya. I’m sure I think less of them now, but even before last week they had been falling behind everyone. I could see myself playing them at half cause byu ain’t been all that great in 2nd halves and until last week utah st had owned 4th qrtr. We see how this bet goes 1st
 
Unreal. Both “America’s picks” in the virtual lock segment are big dogs. Hogs +17.5 and ole miss+14.5 (hated seeing this). Is there anything worse than a hugely public dog? I hate when the masses try to get on board w my kinda plays!! Lol. I wasn’t touching Arky anyways, that game under all day for me. I gotta sleep on all those big spreads. Really do want to play BC and ole miss but havnt decided. Maybe just little smaller I dunno yet.

Really debated between pitt and under but I think pitt the right side.

Long as la tech has a healthy qb I’m gonna be on them catching 18 vs NCst off the Clemson win. Their qb room just all banged up so been waiting to see, sounds like Kendall gonna go, if that the case I’m on them.

This may be a record--92% of the money has been bet on Arkansas. Never heard of that percentage of the money on a dog getting that many points. People love Arkansas though. They've won on them every week of the season and historically Georgia covering points is a losing game

I pay no attention at all to whether the pubic is on a team or against a team. Don't even factor it in.

Good call on that BYU first half bet.

I was tempted too. Finally decided not to bet any of them, but to bet a few small two-team parlays. Iowa/Old Miss, Iowa/Ark, UAB/BC. That solved the problem and put an end to temptation.

lol.. right on,,, i did something similar just to feed the beast without risking much,, i did a nevada ml/ol piss ml little 2 teamer, only risked a 12 pack but pays super fat if rebs can actually pull the upset!!! just needed a little action since i have to watch that game!! lol.. might still do something with bc later i dunno.. good with just having the 1st half and game under in the uga game. gl brother
 
i did add lsu and ucla when i was at casino.. feel like both those lines for the home team somewhat short. i mean Nix always crap on the road and he going to one the toughest places to play at night!! i still dont trust lsu but more so than aub, at home at night, felt like should be closer to a td spread.. ucla was way easier cause i do trust them and think they unquestionably the better team.

Ha! Same here. Those little parlays and the contest I'm in help me put a little something on teams I know are not sound bets long term, but I still want some action on.

Lee taking a loss today!! im putting my acc rep on the line with pitt, i looked at that game all week thinking i was gonna be on under, just kept getting the feeling this was incredibly similar to the mizzou/bc game where i ended up on under instead of bc which cost me a W and i tool a :L!!. undoubtedly this week the under will cash and pitt will lose! lol.. i dont think so tho.,. pitt matches up really well on both sides the ball imo.. just gotta hope we dont get one them patented pitt lays a egg games! i dont think so being a acc game and the acc being wide freaking open with the downfall of clemson!!
 
have a lot of acc today with pitt and ville,, really want to play cuse but feels somewhat "square", not sure why the hell the noles are laying points in this one? or vs anyone with a pulse!!! cuse has been playing good defense and appear to have a solid run game,, gun to head i say noles lose yet again but i havnt pulled trigger yet.. As mentioned still lean BC also..

i just gotta hope im right with game script in uga game, if so the under should cash no problem!! arky DC loves to show all kinds of exotic looks with very few down lineman, i think uga would be best served running right at them to force more conventional looks in the back end!!

really believe pitt matches up great with gtech,, pitt defense might be a little down this year but they still stop the run and get after the qb, tech has to run to have success and they not been good protecting the qb who i think holds the ball too long.. pickett has really mastered this offense, i think he might just be the best qb in the acc now!! gtech strength is getting after the qb but pitt protects pickett well plus he gets them in the right plays! i think pitt wins by dd..

books seem to be getting awful tricky with some these lines,, like iowa last night, i think them making that line 3 got them a bunch of terps action they wouldnt have got if they made it iowa-6 or -7,, seems risky and strange but clearly worked.. almost as if they look at some of these and think they have a better chance drawing in wanna be sharp action by doing this and willing to risk eatin it from the numbers guys who gonna simply play the games when the line appears off!! am i crazy on this, thinking way too much?

oh shit,, i must have communicated that total poorly.. i was actually staring at that under all week but i kept getting the feeling it was gonna be similar to the mizzou/bc game where i went under instead of bc cause total felt high (as this one did to me) then i got beat cause all the big plays in 1st half, just ruined the game script of BC controlling the tempo with their run game,, this one i worried neither team be able to run so afraid be lot of passing.. the more i looked at the more pitt became clear to me they were the right side, the matchup favored them huge, then it was just a matter of trusting pitt not to lay one their eggs they known for!! i thought the fact the acc is wide open for a change would help us avoid that!! Pickett quickly becoming the unquestionably best qb in the conf imo!!

cant believe got the 1st half under in athens!!! fuck yea!!!
 
i gotta give a little credit/shout out to my guy "dapperdan" (we been talking on these sites going back a decade now, here and another place before that),, total respect for his opinion and he liked pitt also which helped convince me to pass on total and go with pitt.. if you guys dont read his thread every week you should!! he right there with "Br@ssknux" as the guys i think give the best write ups on the games, must reads every week!!!!

what a freaking DAY!!!!!! went ahead and added BC, since all the other games like this the fav won huge feel like it might be ok to ride with BC.. lets be real, clemson not in bama, uga, or ohio st class this year!!
