C-MAN NHL 2025-26

I went ahead and locked in pens and isles. Should be top guys for pit/dal. Could give sorokin a rest, but rittich is still good there. Doubt they rest bobrovsky, im fine with him in. But if they sit him, clear advantage isles. And i would be sitting in a much better line.

Adding the rangers and that should do it. Too much action across all sports. Gonna lighten the load and enjoy some football.

Best of luck on your action!

Added philly ml and ov 6.5 in anaheim. Quick is projecting to be in net for rangers. Ugh. Line not moving yet, so maybe it wont be an issue. Shesterkin needed a night off. Glad it was quick and nit the callup.

Ugh...brutal day, but rangers and pens were right there. Isles was trying to ride the wave. Oh well. Todays card is meh.

Maybe det. Maybe under in calgary. Prob gonna tread light today. Actually have to do some real work

Just going to roll with det and utah 2night split bet between ml and reg.

I feel like i have an even to slight edge in goalie matchups, and my my numbera i have both as pretty heavy favorites. Feel like i am getting a bit of a discount on both.

Toronto intrigued me, but decided to just roll witj these 2

Adding

Buff -110

Think we see max effort from Sabres tonight and Cal may be a bit fat and happy after a couple wins.

Season 31-26 +5.95

Yeah, I was tied up with real work all day. Lost a few close ones the last couple of days but don’t think any of them were bad plays. Maybe the gambling gods will even things out tonight.

More Sabres thoughts. They are 0-2 on a make or break road trip with Edm, Van and Sea still to go. They played pretty well vs Jets last game - outshot them every period - but could not capitalize. A win tonight and they could go .500 on the trip. Very important game for them. Cal is a team I have been backing lately but when they are off, which they are prone to being after a couple good games, it’s pretty bad. I could see Buff covering the -1.5.

Yeah, toronto and buff were consideratiins for me but disnt line up witj my initial numbera enough for a play. I was backing calgary early in the season some but they havent held up as much as i would have liked.

Good slate tomorrow.

Baseball score there in buffalo. Split my pair to clear enough to pay for my lunch today, lol. But, not in the red, so thats fine with me.

Looking at the box score, detroit was massively outshot (39-20) and vancouver seemingly more physical. That would suggest a defensive liability and bode well for a look to fade them.

Prob shoulda stayed away with cooley out but utah played pretty well gettimg it back to within 1 with 8min left in 3rd before an empty netter pushed it to a 2 goal victory.

I looked back at my notes from yesterday and i had wrote down buff over as someyhing to explore. What could have been i guess.

Some good dogs out there today. Isles in particular jumps out initially.

Yep, I liked the over in Buff/Cal last night but opted to go with Buff instead. Buff played a lot better after the first period but the goal getting reversed killed them. Even then, they stayed in the game until the end when Calgary had two EN goals. Maybe another over tonight against Edmonton. Although Buff has to be tired and Edmonton is rested and looking to avenge the 5-1 defeat vs Buff back in November.

First time through leans: Ducks, Habs, Sens and Canes. Steep price to pay for Canes but this game will feature a reunion of the 2006 Stanley Cup champion team. Many of Brind’Amour’s former teammates will be in attendance. Some of them were there for Sundays loss to the sharks so I would expect a better effort in this game.

Dropped Ott and replaced with NYI. Too steep a price with Ott struggling to score and Devils badly needing a win. NJ has won 4 straight @Ott.

Yeah...im going to pause on jersey. I just cant seem to figure them out. Like isles and ducks, and dont disagree at all witj that parlay.

Boston keeps popping into my conscience. Sharks were a consideratiin, but askatov isnt starting so ill pass there. Anahiem will be on my card. No malkin and jarry not starting, like that matchup. Dallas should make it also.

Seems like it is shaping up for me:

Isles
Ducks
Bos
Dallas

Might do a 2 and 3 team parlay with col thrown in wiyh the 2 you have. Like my chances there

Dallas has been as consistent as any team in the league not named Colorado and Jets have been, whelp, the opposite. Could definitely see Dallas pouring in some goals here. Might look at their TT over. Boston as a dog also attractive here.

What could have been. Still a good night overall. Def got lucky on a couple. Lots of goals last night. Edmonton finally woke up, but the 2 power play goals for buff to lead off was a difference maker. Gotta clean that up against bad, but competitive, teams.

Initial leans, with middle 2 being strongest based on my initial numbers.

Nyr
Cal
Fla
Sea

With calgary, my biggest concern is their high rate of penalties. Detroit ranks 7 convering on 25% of their chances. More to look at i suppose

Yeah, got fortunate with Ducks. Was a game late with Buff. Mon (shaking my head), man I just need to stop betting their games.

Love Rangers tonight. Would typically be a large play for me but trying to be discipline. If there was ever going to be a multi unit play, this would be it.

Thought about Cal but elected to play over instead. Can’t trust Cal to sweep the home stand and Detroit is scoring pretty well right now. Det has swept the season series the last 3 seasons. Figure to fade Detroit next game vs Edm who will be looking to rebound.

I’m guessing we see a very low scoring game in Seattle. Both teams are good defensively and Seattle has very little firepower.

I had thought about that under in seattle. Ill look into that more. You may be rigbt, might be a better way to go in calgary. Im not thrilled with the side...but it is the only one i could take in this one. I still can't get outta my head the box score on det/van last time out. Maybe i double dip.

Interesting take on the rangers. Ill dig into that one more. They are the only way i would play it...but 140 favs are approaching about my fav limit....and i typically like to only reserve that for home favorites. Im more of a dog guy if you hadnt been able to figure that out yet. Regulation winner has rangers +113.

Have only locked in florida at this point.

I was close on Fla. They are reaching pretty good form and starting to get guys healthy. Avs on deck so this game more winnable. Cooley out is a killer for Utah. Just not enough scoring depth to keep up. Check goalies though. They might be saving Bobs for tomorrow night @Col. May not matter as he has not been great anyways.

Rags have had great success recently @chicago. 5-0 L5 scoring 29 goals in those games (almost 6 goals per game). Rags have been road warriors this season (12-4-1). Chicago is .500 at home and coming off a west coast trip to play 1 game then back to St Louis. Hawks were outscored 13-1 L2 games so definitely some issues to clean up. Rags have earned points in 7 of L8 against some very good teams (Col, Dal, Car, Vegas, Boston, Ott). It is any given night in this league, but I love the situation for Rags.

Yeah...daily faceoff has bobv starting...so good there.

Yeah...blueahirts defense has continued to play well. Often times yhese first games back off a road trip givr some boost to the home team. But chi has had some struggles. I too like yhe way the rangets have been playing. I added them as well.

Got forsberg in the net for kings today. Hopeful the still allows that under to cash for you!

I stuck with rangers, cal, and fla. If i get the first couple...may ride along

Yeah...they didnt come out sharp at all. Quick glance of the box score doesnt show too lopsided of an effort. Just one of thkse nights.

You called it on the over in calgary. They started off slow and made a game of it late.

Nice call on under in La.

1 and 2 night for me. Its an improvement from day before. Got some real work to do before i get dig into anything.

Some good matchups 2night. I know you were eyeing that edmonton game, the books sure put a pretty steep tarrif on that one for sure

Big matchup for first place in DC tonight. If it’s Thompson vs Bussi, may have to look at the under.

And the over in nashville and under in dallas. Pitt is projecting jarry with montreal projecting a callup

Prob went quicker than i should have...and bigger card than i like...but im rolling with this.

Dal/minn un 5.5
Pitt ml
Ott ml
Edm reg win
Stl/nas ov 6
Sj/tor ov 6
Car/wash un 6

Lets see how my totals game does.

I was way short for time today so didn’t get to dig into most of the late games.

Thursday

Edm -1.5 +145
NYI -120
Car/Wash u6 -115

Season 36-30 +6.6

All of Edmonton’s recent wins have been by more than 2 goals so seemed reasonable to take + money.

I hope you hit Pens. I liked the over there, but I am avoiding Montreal games for the foreseeable future. Ott was on my list of leans. May have to look into those overs if have time.

The overs were really based on recency and the goalies raw numbers. I hope it doesnt bite me.

As we have discussed, sharks have the capability to score. Toro to has recently as well. Askarov isnt starting so that helps my case.

I considered islanders. Feel like they have been on my card alot lately. I think rittich mighta held me off. I have a fairly high opi ion of ducks also. Roy has been moving atound alot of pieces lately. I dont know if that is good or bad. They are playing some great hockey lately. Ill be rooting for that one for you.

Chicago would be the only side i could take against the Blues. In the nightcap...seattle or under. Offensive challenges for both, but both projected goalies have a poor save %, which i generally dont like to see when going under (disnt work out last night in dallas, but i digress). Not sure how they can put such a favorite tarriff on utah in their recent form.

Im going to go ahead and lock in chicago with the expectation knight will be in net again. He usually starts at least 2 in a row and they didnt play last night. I dont care who they have in net for the blues. Projecting binnington, but its even better if they put hofer in there. Market has already bet down chicago at the open. Ill take a stab at the plus money road dog.

High tariff to pay on Utah but think they win. This is their last game on a winless home stand. They battled pretty hard last game vs Fla. Seattle really struggles to score and McCann will probably miss this game. Yes, they scored 3 goals vs Kings last game but it took 7 Kings penalties and OT to get there (all 3 goals were PPGs). I thought about under again but at 5.5 and Utah tending to play more overs at home, not interested. Can’t lay -170 or -180 on Utah though, that’s just crazy.

Chicago seems like a reasonable play. Just worries me they have not won b2b games in almost a month and they have Det at home tomorrow. Initial lean was over there but think Blues may tighten up after giving up 12 goals the past two games. Two really tough games tonight.

I just cant get a good read on the night game. Im just rolling with hawks and hoping for best.

The more i think, intrinsically, about the side...i feel like is one of those setups to draw the attention to the dog given utahs recent struggles. Itll either be a 2-1 game or 4-3.

Its best to start capping tomorrows card.

Man...feel bad for isles. Yhey have been playing really good hockey and it looks like yhey were set to get Drouin back tomorrow night. Now it appears Horvat is going out with an upper body injury for a spell.

Hopefully it’s just a couple games for Horvat. At least this one is not season ending. I really like this team but the injuries may be too much to overcome at some point. Who knows though as the East is wide open this year.

Flames jump out tonight. Think they carry that momentum from the third period vs Detroit over to this game. Flames have been hot lately and this is their dad’s trip. Kings are struggling to score 5-on-5 goals. This is a standalone home game and they are only 4-6-3 at home. I’ll bite at those odds.

1-3 weeks for Horvat…hopefully it’s only 1 week. Have to think about the Wild tonight. Shocked this line wasn’t higher. Pens 1P will likely be a play.

Pens and wild boyh scoring deals yesterday. I think the wild deal is more tranformational. I liked jarry in pitt. I dont know tbat it is an upgrade for yhe oilers.
