C-MAN NHL 2025-26

Yeah, ill take a 1 and 1 night, both at plus money (i did split the blues wager as regulation and pl). So ended a little in the green.

Anytime i see a dog of almost 300, i do generally give it a 2nd look. Good info about the col illnesses. I need to gey a better dabase of local coverage. Im in FL, but i read yhe Post alot. I feel i have a better understanding of the rangers and isles because of that coverage.

I have been covered up at work today, so i havent looked at much yet. Thinking there could be a good defensive battle in the gRden tonigjt wiyh the rangers...possibly looking to under there. However, i need to be sure who is starting in net as shesterkin has gotten alot of use lately and might be taxed. Saw where yhey called up graves. If he goes tonight, i wony be on yhat under, but may back dallas in regulation.

Thompson confirmed in net for Caps. May add the under in LA. Caps have been scoring a bunch but most of those games were at home and they may be cooling off a bit (2 of their 4 goals vs NYI and the last goal vs Tor were EN). Kings are not scoring a ton and both teams are struggling on the PP. Lots of under trends in the H2H series, especially in LA. Could see a tight game here. Will wait and see how the first two go.

Shesterkin is confirmed.

I saw that on dailyfaceoff.com. i think ill prob stab at that under 5.5...chi Pl and spri kle on ml...tor ml.....and half unit on boston, despite their injuries.

I dont like the number of plays at all.

I think the stars game is more defensive given the line shuffeling that will yake place in msg by nyr. I get 2 really good tenders too.

Chicago is simply a play on the goaltender matchup and vegas being way overvalued here...imo.

Would like to take the isles. I feel like tb should be higher given their recent form. I made isles over 120. If it could get back there i would take a stab in regulation.

Toronto feels like a trap to me. But, i dont think fla is playing all that great. My biggest fear ia that the leafa go back to their 2 goals a game form prior to the pitt explosion.

Detroit has been really sloppy lately. Woulda been a full unit play but those boston injuries sting a bit.

I didnt dig into each of these as much as i notmally like to. Hope that doesnt bite me in the rear.

Wednesday

SJ +135

Seems like a good spot for Sharks tonight. Sure the Caps are playing well, but game 3 of a 4-game road trip on a b2b with Lindgren in net. Sharks are a strong home team (8-2 L10) and have a tough road trip coming up.

Season 28-17 +12.25

@slim - please keep the comments coming. You’re seeing things pretty well right now.

@BAR - congrats on the victory last night. You got to see a pretty good game! I liked Detroit, but the odds were too steep to bet it.

@Vap - don’t be scared… the Caps are good, but they are NOT Colorado.

I really, really want to be on Buffalo tonight but was shocked to see them -130 @Philly. WTF is up with that line??

Win/Mon both coming off disappointing performances. Jets had a players only meeting after getting smoked by Buffalo. Goaltending situation a mess for both teams right now so over is a possibility, but both teams know they need to tighten up on defense to help the goaltenders so not sure.

Dallas could make the cut but NJ dropped 2 straight at home. Need to look a little harder at this one.

Utah/Ducks a coin flip.

Rangers will be a play tomorrow. Figured it would take this team some time with new players, new coach, new system, etc., but they may be poised to make a nice run.

I see Sharks +135 this morning. It's a tough play as Washington is killing it right now like Colorado
Vap...even better. My guess was...if Caps won last night, it would rightfully edge up a touch. I dont disagree at all the Wash is playing quite well, but, i like my chances with a hungry capable home team with their opponnent coming off a hard fought road victory last night.

Plus, gey lindgren in net as opposed to thompson for the visiting team, which is certainly a downgrade. While Askarov is not confirmed yet....they are not off a b2b and he has usually started 2 in a row...if not sometimes 3. I could get burned assuming that...but ill take my chances in this tilt.

Thanks man.

I took our TT over 3.5 -105.... Granted I probably don't play that unless I was attending.

I did take Debrincat points over as well.

Parleyed Wings ML with MSU hoops ML.

So, fun night.

Added some pizza bets on first goal score, first face-off etc @Teapot9 style.

Makes things fun.

Big win before the West Coast trip!

Looking more at Dallas, they are 3-0 in b2b’s this season but that was a pretty tough game last night. NJ has been a .500 team since the beginning of November after a hot start in October and injuries might be catching up to them. I’m guessing Seguin will be out but they are a deep team.

Dallas faced 41 shots while the blueshirts saw 26. Great job by DeSmith. Line is prob about right given that markstrom is starting. I haven been able to get a good read on yhe devils lately

Yep, Gulutzan was not happy about Dallas’ effort. That’s another reason I’m thinking they may respond tonight.

Locked in san jose at 137, i split a unit on anaheim between ml (-105) and reg (+136)..buff/phi ov6.

Went back and forth on dallas. Normally dony like to play teams off a b2b...especially on the road. But, i do see a situation where they can limit shots and have a good shot at a win. Im going to split a unit between ml and regulatiin (-101 and 155).

Im a yield guy over a win percent guy, thus i like to take a bit more of the risk that there could be a tie and when i feel the situation works. Usually when yhe ml is close to pickem.

I did that a bunch in baseball where i capped out to want to take a -120 fav, but would play the plus money -1 line to try and improve yield. The risk was a 1 run victory, so i tried to pick my spots. I believe it could help to boost roi whilst reducing the need to feel like i have to pick winners...but to get involved with value.

Good over history in the Buff/Philly series but I’m a little worried about Foerster being out and Buff playing 5 straight unders. I was at the game in Pittsburgh last week and there were hardly any scoring chances for two periods and then boom…a 5-goal explosion in the 3P. It took about 25 minutes of game time before either team had 5 shots on goal. I think Buff wants to play a tighter game but sometimes they just can’t help themselves. Buffalo has not won 3 straight all season so I’m just gonna watch this one.

Stars -105

Just those two for tonight, but I’ll be watching the Sabres game and looking for an in-game opportunity. I wasn’t able to find the exact stat, but I watch most of their games and I know they have given up the first goal in a lot of their games this season.

If it was at 6.5, i wouldnt have played it. They have been somewhat inconsistent in their efforts. I couldnt see an advantage with either side...buff was my lean for sure. Watch the sabres win 3-2, lol.

Im banking on the weak save percentages of each goalie and hopefully there is lots of activities in front of both nets. Maybe some chippiness to get a few extra PP chances

BTW, Fla losing 2 straight at home is what kept me off Tor last night so not making the same mistake (I hope) tonight with Dallas.

Something is just not right in Sunrise. I will continue to look for opportunities when they are a big fav ay home.

Quick review says they have been a 150 or greater home fave 11 times this season. They have cashed 6 of them, includimg the last 3 straight(all of which they were better than 170 home favorites).

Nice hit on that over slim. That was a no stress winner! I tried to jump on it live after Buff scored but Philly scored too quick and it went to o/u8.5!

Lots of injuries. They are just weathering the storm.

Thanks C! I like when i get one of those easy winners!

Not to jinx it, but, the team from same state as the cowboys is handling business nicely with about 6 min to go

Good beginning, bad ending. Didnt stay up to watch sharks or ducks...but 14-2 scored in dual losing efforts tells me all i need to know. It like a d3 football playoff game score.

But, given the situations and where the 2 teams were at, i would make those plays again.

lotta big favs on the slate today. 5 of the 10 games are $2 favs with the isles being the only home dog to one of those teams. They will be getting a look for sure.

Fla, like we were chatting about yesterday, is another big fav, but the team on the other bench has consistently struggled this season but has won 3 of their last 4.

Hopefully something jumps out. Minnesota might be interesting...and maybe chicago.

Yeah, I watched the 1P of the Sharks game. They had some good scoring chances and didn’t convert and things just snowballed. Oh well, lots of opportunities on the slate today. Initial leans: Tor/Car over, StL/Bos under, NYI and under, Rangers. Need to dig a little more into late games.

Yeah...im strongly considerimg the Isles. I dont forsee it moving much as the goalies should be set.

I just saw yhe sens are starting merilanian in net. That bodes well for a potential nyr play. Maybe a ott tt un since i expect nyr to keep up the defensive pressure that worked well last time out. Plus...the roadie rangers have been performing. Shesterkin not confirmed yet. Hes been used alot...but if they put martin in, which they could with col and vegas on tap after this game, i might be inclined to go over. Hard to read what effort one may get with this roadie sandwiched between a couple shorter home series.

Im almost tempted to put a half unit on each of the five big dogs and hope for a 2-3 night and walk away with some plus money. Hitting 40% and having more cash than you started wiyh is appealing.

Isles have been pretty good vs the better teams in the league. Col is definitely a top team, but they can’t win every game.

I believe imma role with isles +147, nyr +112, minn -118, and a half unit each on sea +172 and chi +176. Nashville was close...but at some point fla will wake up. If nashville profiled a little better i would have added it.

I like Chicago. Thought they looked good vs Vegas. And Edmonton does not look right so the odds on Seattle are attractive. Already a big card for me so not likely to add unless the early games cash.

Man, you woulda thougght with canes getting 32 shots they woulda got another across. Woll shut em out in yhe 2nd and 3rd. Felt andersen woulda gave up some, and he did his part although only facing 24 shots.

Carolina offense did its part, outside of not converting more of those shots, or on any of the few PP chances they had (10 pim i believe between both teams).

Korpsialo mostly did his part in beantown (while facing 39 shots) while binnington was a sieve.

Tough luck on those totals man.

Probably a bigger card than i should have gjven the limited slate. Woulda been on san jose but looks like nedeljkovic is in the net instead of askov.

The first two i split 60/40 ml and reg win to try and increase potential winnings.

Utah -123, +118
Jets -128, +118
Anaheim, +128
Devils +116

Had a freeplay at hard rock bet and made this up. See how it goes.

3 leg alt tt parlay +133
Njd ov 1.5
Buff un 3.5
Sj un 3.5

Yeah. I don’t like tonight’s card at all. Prob just playing Ducks ml and/or Jets ml. Thought about over in caps/Ducks but hate 6.5 (see Tor/Car last night!). Though about Van but they have been so bad. Still pissed I chose to parlay Isles last night instead of a straight bet.

Well...they did have a bit of unexpected explosiin in that one. Hadnt studied the box score. Prob one of the worst games by blackwood in a while. Almost 80 combined shots, wow.

Maybe that was a bit of payback for the drubbing roy and the isles took a few weeks ago in Colorado.

If you ainy feeling it, prob best not to push the envelope.

Im hopeful i just dont get burned, lol

Had to travel to Jamestown, NY for HS hockey last night so never got a chance to put in the plays that went 2-0, but oh well. Just glad to be seeing it well after an off night. Liking 3 Canadian teams today: Ott, Cal and Tor. Hate laying odds with all 3 plays but may have to do it.

I would tend to agree, just based on a cursory glance, with ottawa and tor.

In fact, ive already played ott at a 60/40 split on ml and reg. I sure dont often take a fav of this size(although i got it a bit cheaper than current offerings), but, i think the situayion warrants itself.

Calgary i have a hard time figuring out. Similar to figurimg out the devils. First glance i like yhe over, but both often arent offensive powerhouses, but we do get a goalie matchup that would favor that side.

I like boston and seattle today a bit. Got some work to do. For some reason i like yhe under in the col/nyr game. Shesterkin is going to sleep for a week when quick gets back.

Agree on Sea slim and added them. I don’t know why I keep rating Van higher, but I should probably wake up and start fading them.

Ill more than likely be joining on toronto. Im rooting for you with calgary, ill prob just stick with my over play in that one.

Im hopeful for anoyher profitable day. Im thrilled wiyh the goings yhus far in nyc. 1 to with about 8 min remaining. Always tough to go under wiyh those avs, but rangers d is keeping them honest

Could be some good opportunities to catch a mispriced line or two with 9 of the 16 teams on the 2nd night of back to backs. Nyi/fl and stl/mon are the only 2 where both teams played today. Montreal does flip from road to home.

Isles will probably be on my card...just want to see who plays in net.

Philly looks possible, hard fought game for avs today vs rangers. Admittedly havent wagered much on philly.

San jose at that price vs the canes ia worth a look.

Pitt is intriguing.

I would only play montreal here, but see how 2night goes.

Rangers or nothing, but i would be interested to see what they do in net. If its the backup...pass.

hard not to consider cbus in this spot after an offensive explosion vs canes and a wash team first game back off an intense and successful road trip.

Anaheim or nothing, would maybe look to parlay it with something.

Just initial thoughts and leans.
