He's not bad, has a lot of skills but I don't think staying at Duke would have helped him. His problem is that he needs to learn how to play on a team where he's not the best player/#1 option on offense. He looks like he wants to score every time he touches the ball, which is what I'm sure he's used to doing from HS and his freshman year, but the Hornets need him to be more of a distributor and intangibles guy. He is not that, at least not right now.

his vision has been awful

ball handling/attacking has gotten better but he still looks very uncomfortable with the speed/tempo in the NBA. first few weeks it seemed he'd get trapped or caught driving but he's atleast figured out a way to get the shot up instead of killing an offensive set
