Man City is lucky Liverpool have Chelsea left on their schedule, but not at the right venue. Their fate is not in their own hands anymore.

Real 1-0 Barca

What's going on with the Barcelona offense? 5 goals its last 5 games, but three were PK's and one was an OG. Don't look like they're going to net one anytime soon in this game either...

Was thinking Palace has a legit shot at top 10 finish but just looked at their remaining schedule, they'd earn it if they get there

What a great season by them, wrote them off for dead after 10 games when all they had were 3 points and now they have 40.

That Bale goal is outstanding...the composure to finish after making that run is amazing

Who's ready for some exciting Copa Libertadores action?

There could've been about 5 goals in this game already. I think we already know how this story is going to end...

:dunno:

Well, next time you see Al Minya on the board, that defense is beyond woeful. In other news, looks like Ryan Miller will get to see his wife sooner than later...

:hello:

And what the hell is Garber thinking giving Atlanta a franchise? That has to be one of the most fickle fan bases in North America. Wouldn't surprise me to see them fold within 5 years...

Yeah surprised Atlanta got a team, who's going to those games?
The Hawks will probably have loads of empty seats against the Pacers, so not sure why Arthur Blank thinks MLS is going to work in ATL.

Then again, how many more major markets are there left to tap realistically? STL? Bay Area? Detroit? PHX? I'm sure anyone of those would have been a better long term gamble than Atlanta. Probably has something to do with tv negotiations.

US/Mexico game always draws well here, don't know if a team like Chivas would thrive in the Valley or not but at least the soccer interest is pretty large. Big difference between playing and paying though

Well, the other thing is, where do they plan on getting all these players from? I like MLS, but let's face it, the talent level isn't exactly up to par with some of the second tier European leagues. Now they have to fill NYC, Orlando, Miami and ATL. I think Kaka has a verbal agreement to join Orlando, and Beckham should be able to talk a few guys into coming over but, otherwise, those teams are going to be near unwatchable the first few years.

About fucking time. The good thing about The Stongest is they'll keep attacking right til the end, not go into a shell like the Atletico Madrid's of the world.
