2025 Golf Handicapping Thread....

Thanks for the notes @B.A.R. Good stuff.

Stadium Course chewed up some Sungjae and spat out kimchi yesterday. He's surely likely missing the cut, unless he goes low 60's on NT and LQ, today and tomorrow. Very possible with a player of this caliber but my make cut play is likely dead, putting me behind already for the week.

SC is the boogeyman today with over/under rounds at 70.5, 67.5/68.5 on LQ and NT. Liked how Cole bounced back from a triple bogey, he's -145 against Hoffman and I think it's a great parlay partner for whatever sport floats your boat today / weekend.

1-0 yesterday, +3.1u. Still looking and hoping to have something good to share. GL today boys.

Guys like Im basically need a pair of 64s or so, imo.

Possible but definitely behind the 8 ball.
 
Rd.2, both guys on LQ today after amazing rounds on SC yesterday. Same excellent weather conditions and LQ back nine played a lot easier than the front.

N Taylor under 68.5 -155 5.5u (DK)
Carson Young under 68.5 -125 5.5u (DK, this one moved from -115 to -125 within the last minute, missed the better price)

That they're waiting a week to announce means it will likely be one of the courses already set up for an event

PGA West, Pebble, Torrey all make sense or even doing Scottsdale b2b would help for travel purposes. I simply don't see how they could move an event that's a signature event like that anywhere that won't already be set up for it. By not announcing it right now has to mean they're expecting it to be a repeat of one of the courses. Repair after tournaments isn't as dramatic as some of the crazies on the twit make it out to be. Some make it sound like it takes forever like rebuilding a house.

Much lower cut line than I anticipated.

I figured 10 was the minimum.

My guess is that moves to -8.
 
I'm curious if any of you have actually been to this tournament as a fan and how the set up works...fan friendly etc

I know several people who do or have done Indian Wells for the tennis but that's during March Madness which means they are die hard tennis fans. I do know the facilites for tennis are insane, actually did the stadium tour there. You just don't mess with me in March like Cameron Dollar did one year we were leaving for NO and Panama City in college
 
Tough day with small ball, 0-4 -17u, lost the cut future also, So far 3-5-0 -11u Amex.

Not sure what to make of rd.4 but put this in last night, thinking price would change but hasn’t moved. Think JJ keeps pace and could move up a couple of spots.

Matchups went 2-1

That cut out most of the outrights.

I wanted to get into totals more this week but got caught up with some extra work later in the week.

Farmers starts Wednesday I believe.
 
Amex- Started strong, 0-6 over the weekend, -18.5u.

Pretty big loss for me but did well overall this weekend. Long season so not overly worried, could've done a few things differently and there were a few live options I could've/should've jumped on but was busier than usual this weekend.

Onto the next.

That's Underdog. The pricing is atrocious...that same parlay (if it was allowed) offshore would be +1240.

But, they have the numbers up early...I suspected that the lines/juice would increase overnight as the weather forecast firmed up.

Ah I see. Yeah it’s low for it being very correlated.
 
Winds picking up today and worse weather for tournament will come final round. Hoping my guys will take advantage of the north course today. South course looked very tough yesterday and can imagine it's only gonna get worse.

BS round.2, no chance any of my plays yesterday would cash with that wind. 0-3 -13.5u, -15.3u for tourney.

Could be considered a chase or press but I'm in on Im under 72.5 -145 12.5u (DK)
