Former Washington QB @BrockHuard says Wazzu star QB Cam Ward has up to ten $1mil offers to transfer.

Schools that have supposedly contacted him are Oregon, Washington, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Auburn.

If Ward decides to move on from Pullman, a school will be instant contenders.

Of those he'll likely go to Oregon and get paid

Why TF would anyone go to Auburn at this point?
AU is convinced they are getting 3 five star WR in this cycle. No clue if there's anything to it. They always say shit like that, but sometimes it's true

Read some stuff that he may only be a guy who can play on a “check w me” offense where coach tells him where to throw pre snap bc he can’t read defenses.
I guess we will find out but Cristobal was certainly no help and he's the reason why Herbert didn't got first overall and ended up being drafted after a far less talented Tua.

You can dislike Freeze personally but he's a very good coach.

I used to agree. I thought he did a pretty awful job this year tho. It’s like he had no plan coming into this season. They go out and hey Thorne in the portal, a guy who strength is throwing the deep ball and turned him into a runner??!?!?!?? I’ll never understand the logic behind that move??

He was likely the worst coach in all of FBS this season

Lmao

You want him in Miami and it would set them back 10 more years than they're already set back.

He's terrible.
Freeze is about the furthest thing from terrible but you are entitled to be wrong.

He blows dude, awful coach

Barely underneath Art Briles for me, both pieces of shit who needed to ENTITLE their teams beyond the law to succeed.

Go back to banging on the Jets, we all know you need help but at least that's relatable.

Been to two Miami games, had no clue how small they are as a school

2002 (?) Rose Bowl, entire stadium was Nebraska

2003 Fiesta Bowl, the flag. 95% Ohio State, 5% Miami, crazy how that works. That Miami team was better than the one that beat the brakes off the Huskers the year before but McGahee putting his leg on backwards was massive.

Damn, before this season I thought he was pretty good, im with you it has been a disaster this season but no possible way he could destroy a program worse than Cristobal! Could he? Lol

He thinks prayer can heal all wounds.

Fuck him.

As I’ve mentioned I used to think pretty highly of him but you blind if you think he been anything but terrible this season. Maybe he gets it right but i don’t think there a team I blasted more for their game plans than auburn early this season. The things he did made no sense whatsoever, that just a fact. Bringing Thorne in from the portal then running a offense that was completely opposite of his strengths made no damn sense. I guess you can give him some credit for turning thorne Into a pretty decent runner but it still makes no freaking sense! Not to mention how early on any time thorne started getting any type of momentum going throwing the ball he then benched him and brought it that one kid who has no business throwing a football and had him run. He would proceed to get stuffed on 1st and 2nd down then he would put thorne back in on 3rd and long and ask him to make a throw. I watched them closely for the entire 1st month and the way he ran the offense was a class on how to have no success!! I havnt followed them as closely in sec play, it looks like he made thorne a decent runner but he has totally regressed as a thrower. Whatever you think of him and as I said I thought he was a great hire, he did a absolutely awful job this season as he did not run a offense that highlighted his teams strengths at all. Maybe he will bounce back but that doesn’t excuse how awful he was this season.

If he continues to play QBs like Thorne he will continue to flop but I expect him to find a good QB.

I’ll never understand bringing Thorne in and turning him into a runner! I thought thorne threw a pretty good deep ball before coming to auburn, I envisioned them running the ball w hunter and Thorne taking deep shots but that never really happened: I lost several props on them early in the year as I was totally baffled by wtf Freese was doing!!! One week I just needed ov 1.5 throne passing tds but after leading his team down the field over and over he would pull Thorne out and put that sorry Armstrong kid in (think that his name) and let him run every td in!! That worked just fine vs the scrub team they were playing that week but made no sense as it was obvious that would never work when they played other power 5 teams as anyone could see that kid had no ability to throw so they could simply load up on the run which is exactly what happened.

That stretch of Miami teams had the greatest rosters in college football history. Too bad the coaching was abysmal or they would have won even more than they did.

What's crazy is that douchebag is an SEC coach

These next couple years will see absolutely no one leaving the SEC or Big 10 for another job

Miami is a destination job at this point

The thing is Thorne had strengths and he just didn’t play to them. Part of being a good coach is forming your offense around what your players do well!! They could have easily run the ball w hunter then used play action to get deep shots for thorne who throws a really good deep ball. He prob will get the players to run the system he wants, there just no denying he did a poor job coming up w a offense that would have better suited the players he had., I assume he will be able to bring plenty of talent into auburn and get things moving the right direction but it doesn’t change the fact he did a poor job this season. I’m not ready to say he a bad coach but he did a bad job this season Imo.

They won 2003, best college team outside of Nebraska in my life

Texas w/VY is a long 3rd

Miami is a program that is dead and buried forever and they did it to themselves with one terrible coaching hire after another.

They are a small school

I kinda find it impressive. If they were in the Midwest they'd be irrelevant

Cristobal is the worst coach in the country who only got the job because he played there and is friends with a bunch of guys on the board of trustees.

The Miami rosters between 2000 and 2003 were the most star studded rosters ever.
We were row 1 in the EZ at that Nebraska Rose Bowl. Talking to Jack Arute pre game and seeing Andre Johnson up close was life changing. That Miami team was sick.

You have to separate what you think of someone personally vs their ability to coach.
