Won't be watching espn much anymore. He was one of the few who understood football and was smartest guy on the set every week. And his anectdotes were insanely entertaining. Knight and holtz. Clearly going for lowest common denominator. More mike and mike and first take crap, less credibility. Wtg assholes
 
His takes were that Notre Dame and South Carolina would win every week if you could understand him, fans of those teams have more credibility. Good riddance Lou, the deal with Mark May had that unwatchable.
 
Kansas safety Isaiah Johnson will graduate in May and enroll at SCar for June. He will be the best safety on the team when he steps on campus, and not a slight to him at all, but you could probably find a couple guys off the street and say the same thing. Instant impact player in the secondary for the team but the defense needs another 4-5 guys that actually can play D1 football.

Doesnt change the fact that he was unwatchable and didnt translate well to TV.....was a joke

That makes Harbaugh the second best signing this off-season for Michigan. Makes it 3 boys in Big 10 now, with Johnson at OSU and Pasquariello at Penn State, plus another in the SEC at the Twinkies
 
Holtz still 50 times better than mark may, matt millen, beth mowings, pam ward etc. etc etc

only problem is espn only network really who does cfb. its not like the pros where you can just turn on the networks and watch real guys that have a clue and not an agenda talk specifically about sport they scout, coached, played, exclusively follow.

Another Texas Longhorn is on his way out of Charlie Strong's program.
Redshirt sophomore guard Darius James confirmed to the Austin American-Statesman on Tuesday he would be transferring after two years in Austin. Per Horns247.com, James has been given an unconditional release and is free to transfer to any other NCAA school, even those in the Big 12.
Citing "a source close to James," Horns247.com reported the Harker Heights, Texas product "has put out feelers to multiple Power Five schools who've shown interest."
That' not surprising considering James' five-star recruiting profile. The 247Sports composite ranked James the No. 1 offensive guard in the class of 2013 and the No. 34 player in the class overall.
Nonetheless, James redshirted in 2013 and played just six games last fall, starting two, before seeing his season ended by a knee injury in November. He becomes the fifth offensive lineman to leaves the Longhorns program since Strong's hiring, joining the likes of Kennedy Estelle and Desmond Harrison.

A member of the Marshall football program is the latest FBS football player to find himself running into some post-spring legal issues off the field, although this one’s a bit different as it could possibly have federal implications.
According to multiple media outlets, Steward Butler has been charged with two counts of battery after he was accused of beating a homosexual couple early last month. Butler had been wanted by police for questioning pertaining to April 5 incident, and turned himself in Wednesday morning.
As for the particulars that led to the pair of misdemeanor charges, the Huntington Herald-Dispatch has the following account:
The charges stem from the April 5 beating of two men, moments after they kissed at 5th Avenue and 9th Street in Huntington. Criminal complaints charge Butler witnessed the kiss, exited a passing vehicle and proceeded to shout derogatory words toward both men related to their sexual orientation.
Butler then struck the face of both victims with a closed fist, the complaints charge.

The alleged attack was caught on video by one of the alleged victims. The Herald-Dispatch also writes that the Huntington Police Department “has turned over evidence to the FBI for its review of any civil rights violations.”
“We are aware of the situation involving Marshall running back Steward Butler and are currently in the process of gathering all available information,” a statement attributed to Marshall athletics began. “We will handle the matter internally and appropriately.”
Butler’s 798 yards rushing and seven rushing touchdowns were second on the Herd last season. He was also second on the Herd in those categories in 2013 (765, eight) and second in yards in 2012 (500).
All told, Butler has scored 18 ruishing touchdowns the past three seasons.

Not likely as Texas plays the Irish this season.

Think he is going to try to go back home to South Carolina and hoping he can learn a thing or two from Spurrier before he attempts to make the NFL (never make it imo)

Think he should look at Oregon State with Gary Andersen coming in he would be a perfect fit.
