Let's see who's coming back and see if we can settle on a draft night.

Marmol-ade (the defending champ) = coverlicious

Monday's Rule = Jump's buddy Josh (not in this year)

Smoke = Smoke (Smoke was the leaguesafe keymaster, so he has to come back no matter what)

Let us know if you're coming back or will be out this year.

H-bomb & Ivy have expressed interest in joining if there are drop-outs.

Thought last year's rules, HTH format, and payouts worked well. This was a $100 buy-in league.

I found e-mail addresses for the marmol-ade and compton ballers teams on yahoo (don't think compton was fondy) ... will see if I can make contact.
 
OK, I already heard back from Marmol-ade via e-mail, he's coverlicious at ctg, also said that compton and law would most probably return.

One vacancy so far, Hbomb or Ivy, still interested? (Not sure if either of you already found another fantasy home for the season.)
 
Smoke did have a bit of a MASH unit going last year.

Jump, before Josh officially retires, he does realize that he doesn't have to inherit an auto-draft team with injured players this season, right?
 
We're well ahead of last year's pace organizing this league. March 20 draft night ... good, bad?
 
Have heard from everyone but aplous, we'll give him some more time. If aplous is out, Ivy's in.

League has been renewed on yahoo for 2013, everyone from last year except Josh/Monday's Rule should receive an e-mail invite to join the league, let me know if any trouble ... not sure if yahoo e-mails you the league password, or if you need it if you were already in.

Live draft tentatively set for Wednesday night, March 20, 9:15 EST.

Settings should be same as last season, chime in if you're in favor of any changes. (Did we have 4 DL's last season? ... Thought it was 2, but can't remember. Currently set at 4.)
 
19th is OK by me, 20th was just a starting point ... anyone else, 3/19 OK?

Changed to 3/19 for now, we'll see how many of these we go through before settling on the right one.

19th good for me. If you dont here from me for awhile in this thread; no sweat, my flight lands in Vegas in 2 hours bitches. There til Sunday.
 
Im back!

3/17-3/19 Im on vacation in Chi town with the wife....flying back 730 central on 3/19 so that does not really work. 3/20 works or any day the following week.
 
OK, aplous back in!

As for draft night, let's first work forward from 3/20 towards Opening Day (which is Easter) and see what works for all. If we need to, we can go backwards, prior to St. Pat's Day. 3/19 not good for aplous. 3/20 not good for Jump. Evening of 3/27 not good for me, in another auction.

So ... Thursday, 3/21? This one's fine for me, do keep in mind it's the first night of the NCAA tournament, and NCAA tourney will be running full steam 3/21 thru 3/24.
 
Yer probably right, but we start to run out of nights in a hurry if we eliminate tourney nights, and I hate an early draft. Jump should just postpone that out-of-towner on 3/20, this is the CTG-1 fantasy league, for crissakes.

Thursday March 21? (Could be bad, first night of the tourney)

Monday March 25? (Could be bad, Smoke may be watching Villanova in the NIT)
 
We'll work around it, Jump, no sweat. We can do it earlier in March too, just feeling out the later dates.

Here's the latest for all to pick from, or reject ...

Sunday, March 24 ... NCAA games should wrap up before nightfall. This is my wife's B-day, but I doubt we'll be out on a Sunday night. Should work for me if we start after 9 or so.

Monday, March 25

Tuesday, March 26

If none of those work for all, we can work backwards in March from 3/16 to earlier ... I can't do March 27. March 28 and March 29 are Sweet 16 games, then we start to bump into Easter weekend, then we start to bump into the start of the season.
 
She'll get over it BAR, every day's like a birthday when you're married to me. Except St. Patrick's Day. And the Indians home opener. And any Thursday thru Sunday.
 
Mild momentum towards Monday 3/25? Something tells me this one will stick.

But continue to chime in, 3/24, 3/26, and the first half of March all still in play. So far, Monday 3/25 good for me and grinder.
 
Just got home. Ill get on everything tonight. I'm pretty flexible as long as its not during a weekday.

Draft is currently set for Monday night, March 25, 8:45 PM est.

I think everyone except for Tide has approved that draft time, so looks like that's going to be the one.

Remember to sign into the league on yahoo, as of now think coverlicious, Jump, guaranteed, Grind, and Hbomb still need to join. Let me know if any problems accessing the site. No huge rush, but once we get all set on there, Smokey can set up the leaguesafe stuff so we can be all paid up prior to the draft and set to draft on the 25th, four weeks from today!

If he's taking over a team and you have the max teams set to 12, he won't be able to join until you delete the team he's taking over on the send invite page

Draft date is Monday night, March 25, 8:45 PM est

We have 12 teams confirmed in this thread. All but I think Tide has endorsed the 25th for draft night. We have 10 of 12 signed in on the league site on yahoo. guaranteed and coverlicious still need to sign in on the site, should have received an e-mail invite from yahoo, let me know if any probs.

If Smokedawg would so graciously manage the league's Leaguesafe business again, might as well get that rolling. Let's aim to be all paid up to Leaguesafe well in advance of draft night. Think Smoke will need your e-mail addresses to set up your leaguesafe payments, so if he doesn't have your e-mail or if it's hidden on the yahoo league's site, PM him your e-mail.

All the money stuff and rules should be currently the same as last season.

$100 buy-in
1st place (after playoffs) = $600
2nd place = $300
3rd place = $100
First place standing after regular season = $200

Also, check the league settings and rules, supposed to be the same as last season ... did we have 4 DL spots? Thought it was 2, but can't remember. Guess it must have been 4 because I didn't change anything.
