MLB August-September-October

Thank you Soto and yankees, clearly the better team who wanted it more. someone said to me, they thought yanks just wanted to win back in NY, i said they were crazy, yanks wanted to win this bad and get a day extra rest. What a game! GO Yanks!

awesome run last 5 days.....hope the Luck continues our way...LA is just the better team and wants to wrap this up tonight. Mannea is good but dodgers can and will hit this guy, while he only surrendered 2 in 5 IP last time, i expect more production early from the Dodgers. Good hitters make adjustments, we've seen that already with the dodgers in this series and with the yankees. Dodgers make the adjustments and should hit him early trying to force the pen issue early. Dodgers can pound their pen and the Mets know that.

⭐️Dodgers-137
⭐️Dodgers/Mutts Over 8-120

winners are winners. never bet the under just to bet that or when matchup doesnt call for it. Only people who didnt bet it are fussing about it hitting so much

I will continue to say it, Boone continues to cost the yankees more games than he wins them by his decisions. bringing in Cortez after almost 40 days off, then walking bases loaded was a bush league move that i said when he did it, was going to backfire big time and it did. At least the over cashed splitting the top plays and leaving yanks with a sour taste.

Still looking at a side for the game, another game almost a coin toss with a slight advantage to dodgers at home with Yamamota (going F5 with Dodgers), easily could be decided on last pitch or last inning...also Fletcher was a reserve ump but something happened with fairchild so he is ump game 2. expect runs!

Saturday

⭐️Yankees/Dodgers Over 8.5-115 (Umpire Over-Fletcher-12 runs/25-8 Over/2nd best Runs&Overs ump in MLB)
⭐️Dodgers-137 (F5)
⭐️Yankees+1-130 (Full-game)
Dodgers Team Total Over 4.5-105

I had under 9

Wtf

Cortez pitches was clean and straight down the pipe. Dude was batting practice

Pushed a easy winner

Grrrrr

it was good seeing my childhood teammate/friend from little league to ECU was ecstatic. Dodgers 1st base Clayton McCullough, also Chapel Hill born and Bred and a Great ECU pirate. can't be too mad when a good friend does well. He is the top pick for the white sox job, and was battling Vogt last year for the Clev job.....

what a game, and suspense with a stupid aaron boone move. would have rathered the yanks win obviously but at least the over cashed with that swing...My friend and neighbor Felix pitched with Nestor in Miami growing up---he always tells me he's a hot head and could never be a reliever....welp, last night was that answer in a big way, and to do that after near 40 days off, Boone should be drowning some sorrows.....

I thought about why Boone chose Cortez. He had two lefties warmed. Maybe the decision was made based on how they felt each was throwing in the pen beforehand. That’s my guess. Cannot start off against those guys with fastballs they can reach, he was pitching like he was a starter. He does have allot of strike outs but that pitch to Freddy was too clean and right where Freddy was looking.

I like when little league friends do good

Let’s see if your Yanks can steal one tonight

Yep definitely some positives for why to bring in Cortes; he also had good #'s against that lineup, but for me the biggest no no is not only the guy hadnt pitched in 40 days, he's a starter. Never been a reliever, he's also HIGHLY emotional and is 100% guided by routine. if his routine is off just a bit, he has a bad night. So he's coming in cold, and his routine is completely broken, in the most critical part of a game in the world series, it was set up for failure and to walk the bases loaded? Big no no. I was chatting with my buddy Felix who pitched at NC state but grew up with Nestor and his brother, said the same thing, Nestor cant close a door at home, he aint closing a baseball game, and he certainly is not a reliever. I just had to laugh.
Funny thing about that Little league team I played with Clayton on....it was called the Carrboro (NC) Yankees. On that team, I was Catcher, Brian Roberts was SS (longtime Oriole+Yankee and all star--son of UNC coach Mike Roberts), Clayton at 2B--he later was the standout catcher at ECU and in the minors, with clay's mom as coach. We went undefeated 12-0, and had a blast as kids. was looking at our team picture the other day and its amazing how much we've changed in 35 some years but still look the same in some ways. Crazy watching those 2 make it in a big way from Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Always good to see friends and good people make it big.

Thoughts are should’ve left their closer in. Starters can live with making mistakes early in the game, but not in that situation with so much on the line. Cabrera blew the double play ground ball…..Sotos bad throw to second…. Just wasn’t Yank’s night. But there’s always game 2.

Ohtani’s three home run game reminded me of my LL game going 5 for 5 with 3 home runs and two doubles and 11 rbis and pitching us to a 22-6 win. I was a Dodger back then lol

Dang, were you Corey Seager?

playing yanks for the game...expect a back and forth game, with yanks pulling it out at the end....

The + money does look enticing with the Dodgers given how G1 and 2 went but digging in, Yanks have a much bigger advantage this game in pitching at home as Buehler has been a disaster on the road this year, with a 6.53 ERA and .293 batting average allowed. Yanks should be able to hit him tomorrow and capture at least 1 game, dodgers know they just really have to win 1 in the bronx. Ohtani cant be near 100% despite him playing, Yanks should jump on Dodgers early and try to gain the momentum. Regardless, Dodgers should score their runs and get above their average. 6 straight games they've scored more than 4 runs, i see this as a 7-5 type yankees win.

⭐️Yankees-135 (Full-game)
⭐️Yankees-137 (F5)
⭐️Dodgers Team Total Over 3.5-125
Yanks/Dodgers Over 8-120

Yanks fell apart at the worst time, good news is Dodgers are starting a rookie. if yanks can't hit this rookie and force a game 5, this could carry into next year. Dodgers team total is consistent as they are hitting and it continues to cash. they should get their runs at some point off yankees pitching

⭐️Dodgers Team Total Over 3.5-125
⭐️Yankees-138 (F5)

Still weighing a play on full game side, yanks arent playing to their norm or statisical averages, nor close, maybe they get right for this one game. who knows.

⭐️Yankees/Doyers over 8-127
LA Doyers+1-130 (Full-Game)

Last time Gil Pitched against the Dodgers it was 6-4 yankees, dodgers still get their 4+ runs , but keep it close in the end. Would love to see 1 yankees win but not holding my breath for much, however the first half of the game should be the time yankees see some production.

there we go, all 3 top plays cashed before the 5th ended. shoulda happened like this last night but better late than never. now yanks hold on and win by 1 to ice it.

awesome night last night hitting all top plays, lets see what the gods have in store for us tonight
