When he turned his ankle and didn’t even go back to locker room I knew I was fucked. There 2 problems here, one been a problem since this kid came up, his manager is about as smart as a punching bag! Maybe it “strategy” for this clown to make retarded ass moves nobody see coming! I mean there had to be 4 games at least festa was on track to fly over his k’s then he gives up a bloop hit In 4tv inning and this clown Rocco going to pen! On the other hand let Pablo be In 7th, his stuff clearly gone and this mental reject will leave him out there to get blasted and gets that final out!!! I don’t care if one guy a young kid and the other you paying to be your ace, this isn’t how you make in game desicions, not if you trying to win! Problem #2 is the Mets don’t strike out a Lot and are mostly ripping cover off the ball. The few things I know bout baseball is that never last and a great day to balance out those numbers a bit is a get away day against a very talented pitcher they havnt seen or have much film on!! I was on this kid a lot last year if you recall and most the L’s were manager related, even with Rocco costing him a win or 2 he managed to fan 5+ in 10 of 13 starts!! His k rate been 12.5% or higher at every stop, that a number that should warrant a 5,5 so yes it juicy I believe he hits this far more than enough to make if profitable.

If someone could grab Rocco and throw him closet for a few hours this be a lock!!

So milw is playing games wit tigers, I guess it being a get away game it ok but they started a lhp yesterday that had Milw go to mostly right handed into, they did leave carpenter in and pretty sure he raked. But here we go again, Milw comes with a 50 year old man throwing from the left side so once again tigers bench half their good players to put righties up against the lefty. They do understand that most lhp outside pen guys an actually pitch to right handers don’t they? It not like Quintana woke up and said “oh my god I havd to pitch to right handers today, what am I gonna do?!”, its a lot more likely he got to park and was happy to see 3 of tigers best hitters were gonna be on the bench!! Just don’t understand that but for today it should work in our favor.

Tigers giving Montero a start, my one concern is he wasn’t good in his 1st innings, could be be was just anxious. As long he careful and forces the few good hitters in Milw crappy lineup and doesn’t give in there are plenty out easy outs in their top 5. Walk a guy if you have to. This just reeks of a quick 1st inning at a great price. T
 
Bassitt ov 5.5 k’s -110

Everyone worried bout strider and what he look like, for all I know he punch out 10+ but I have ni clue, what I do know is strider hype is giving us value in bassitt imo, As good the Braves offense been they also been a home run hunting high strikeout team for years. The key is your starter not getting crushed and run from the game, Bassitt is a QS machine whi I trust to go 5-6 innings vs anyone. He has a fantastic 5 pitch mix he will throw in any count, pretty much a nightmare for a Braves team trying to get into a count they can guess on! Good luck w that!! Then finally these dudes are some the most competitive ppl on the planet, you think Bassitt has any interest in being a footnote on striders return? I think we see Bassitt pitch at the top his game today, think he goes 6 no problem and might just show out with a 8 inning dominant performance where the Braves just might be swinging even harder than normal trying to get strider that 1st W!!

Prob won’t see this price in Bassitt at 5.5 rest the year so I’ll happily take advantage as the circumstances keeping his price low have nothing to do with him imo.

Not real often I play cards overs especially this time of year, pretty nice day, don’t think ball will carry but don’t think it just die either. This just a case of disfunction vs more distinction! It’s like coming full circle, the guys who made cards great in the 2000s-2010s all bounced to Houston only leaving behind obviously the dumbest ppl in the organization, Stros took the “cardinal way” to Houston which is basically win at all cost!! While we got left with the ppl so bad they wouldn’t even bring them to stl! If these idiots did know and tips around rules they woulda screwed up, got caught and snitched on everyone!

Anyways none thar matters here. What matters is Matz was yet another genius buy from cards front office, only 10-15 mil a year and they usually get 5/6 starts a season! 1-2 of them sometimes decent!!! I don’t expect this one today to be all that great, I have bashed the Stros plenty for turning into bargain basement scumbags for letting bregs walk and trading Tucker to cubs, the worst part of that we saw how much Stros struggled when those guys were out last year and so they move them? Didn’t make enough money while ripping off the league? anyways this lineup looks a hell a lot better when ur facing matz. Think several stros should raise their average today. I don’t expect cards scoring to continue but it not gonna stop one day against a suspect starter.
 
Damn Stros, you can’t let Matz off the hook when he ready to spot you 4 runs. Walker has been terrible, feeling the pressure?

Love getting that 1st one out the way! Wasn’t easy. Quintana did just what I hoped pitched around the tougher outs and went after the garbage platoon guys. Thought it was easy money then w 2 outs montero gives up 2 hits! Never easy!!
 
man ya never know w matz. I was so close to playing over 2.5s but then you look back at 1st and he coulda been out of game before 3 outs!!!
 
Jfc the twins are so bad. We would never hear me say this in baseball but it starts with the manager. When you have a guy who draws pictures on wall w chalk and most his words come out sounding like just sounds you might want to interview someone else, I don’t care he played for your team, you should encouraged him to at least get his ged while he was there playing! Or maybe they did and he just failed it!
 
Cards live +140., hste this team but I think stros are close to giving up on the season already. The players know the front office fucked them and don’t think it playing well in clubhouse. The fact they couldn’t put Matz away in 1st says all ya need to know. Now he will go 6. At some point you tbink cards shitty hitters get to blanco and get him out of game. Anyways it gonna be tight vs 2 loser teams so I’ll take +140 cause either these scrubs can blow it!!
 
Not gonna lie I was really scared festa wouldn’t strike out that last guy in 4th knowing Rocco could have yanked him at anytime after 4th and 64 pitches thrown! I mean he did give up a few baserunners, Rocco can tell when it time to get guys out and get into pen where some loser get smashed!!
 
It’s a damn Shame tigers continue to do this ignorant platoon shit, I’ve yet to see a game tigers faced a lhp and sat their 2-3 star lefty hitters and it actually work! All this lefties have to go, and for most part they washed up bums like Quintana mind you, Is just pitch around the righties who can do damage and pitch to these loser platoon hitters id bet anything wouldn’t put up as good of numbers against lhp as these young stud hitters they pigeonholed from the jump assuming they can’t hit lhp!!! Bassitt coulda been more efficient but think he wanted to go toe to toe w strider k’s today. We all got ego’s!!!

Matz out we should be fine, plus if any team more broken than cards right now it might be Stros, talk about a front office saying “thanks for the memories and rings but we not paying anyone!”, if you stil under contract deal w it, if not it was good knowing ya!
 
What so crazy is we saw how bad Stros were when bregs ant tucker was out, tucker not getting Back in time to be right for playoffs killed them. So they saw exactly what it woikd look like and went el cheapo anyways, if fairness to cards for most part their front office has proven to be really stupid and terrible talent evaluators.
 
Literally twins could have gotten 6 innings out of festa saving 2 pen guys for another time. I guess there no mention of that in the coloring books?
 
Weird. Tigers brought in a lefty to pitch to yelich, shockingly it turns out not everyone agrees w those illustrated picture books for Rocco! Turns out really good hitters can actually hit right or left handed pitching! I can’t help but wonder how it go when Rocco come to clubhouse with his picture book to explain to Barry bonds why he sitting vs a lefty that day! lol
 
I wonder if Rocco realizes his coloring book that says yank a young stud pitcher anytime he has a runner on and he facing lineup a 3rd time says anything bout if you let him work thru it just maybe he does the job and saves 2 pen guys yoi dunno how will perform while also forcing your pen to get way more outs, not only making the one game tougher to win but then in August when yuh can’t figure out why your pen shot you can have then color you a new book!

Kremer used to be my guy to bet over 4.5 k’s but just noy sure he looks the same to
Me anymore and cle not a high strikeout team, unless he able to go 6+ i don’t think he punching out 5.

Williams just walks way too many, Walk a few guys in Balty and someone will hit a 2 run bomb

Like the way he oitvhing this year and his swinging strike rate up to 14.5% which is pretty elite, I get a guy getting thar much swing and miss damn right I’m playing him at this price. Yanks might mash lhp but they also striking out 30% the time, I don’t think Bubic will get run early, think he goes at least into the 6th and don’t think he has any problem getting a k per inning.

Sea/cincy ov 8.5

Even with 2 very good pitchers going yesterday the min Seattle gets out of their park the runs go up🤪. Today’s pitchers can’t hold the jocks of yesterday starters. Miller is way too much a fly ball pitcher for this park. Unless that wind blowing in (@Marsski be nice to know this! Lol), anyways fly ball pitcher that throws mostly heat makes me think reds can score here. Seattle out their miserable little park they can’t hit in get a borderline gas can in Nick Martinez. 8.5 seems low, it be 7 in Seattle and I really believe there at t least a 2 run difference in these parks,
