At first glance, interest in Cleveland and in Minny. Denver will play their third game in 4 days, all on the road, flying from Toronto to NY and then back north to Cleveland - can't be too easy.
Cleveland looked almost decent in a win against the Bulls.
As for the Wolves, I think they are a good team off a rest and no reason for them to get more than one basket line at home against any opponent.

^^^something to be said about okc being dogged in Portland. Okc 4-0 ats last 4 against Portland. Leaning Portland for now and think it goes down.

gl

Super System: Play against Home underdogs ( 10 or more points) after a Home win as an Underdog. This system is 4-27 ATS since 1990.
The only problem is that i don't have the record for the last 3 seasons. Anyway, we have UTA nearly falling into this spot since they won at home last game as a dog and opened -8,5 today. So i like to take a unit on IND-8. I expect them to bounce back big after their last game. I smell blood, I smell blowout win for the pacers:cheers:

yeah and there's a big difference between the worst team in the league (UTAH) and one of the best IND

You don't think the oddsmakers know that? I'm not saying Utah will win or cover (though they are playing better recently), but what I am saying is that Indy may not be the smart bet today. In fact, Utah is 5-1 ats L6 at home, and 7-3 ats L10 h2h. Remember, this is the nba...where crazy shit happens. How about the lowly pistons who barely win on the road...they beat the heat last night. Anything can happen.

Btw, the home team is 8-2 SU L10 in this matchup, with Utah 7-3 SU in these games! Also, Utah is 7-3 ats L10 overall. IMHO, Brooklyn is the worst team with the worst chemistry right now.

If you look at Spurs game logs you will note Spurs are on 2 ATS loss streak. Note the results of the third game this season which has come up 3 times. Killer Sports does have an encouraging trend for Minn up though.

[h=2]ec. 4[/h] Denver at Cleveland, 7:05 ET
Denver: 22-11 ATS after a win by 10 points or more
Cleveland: 1-9 ATS after having lost 2 of their last 3
LA Clippers at Atlanta, 7:35 ET
LA Clippers: 170-212 ATS after a combined score of 205 points or more
Atlanta: 8-0 ATS in home games after 2 or more consecutive losses
Phoenix at Houston, 8:05 ET
Phoenix: 8-2 ATS in road games
Houston: 15-27 ATS after 2 straight games giving up 10 or less offensive rebounds

Dallas at New Orleans, 8:05 ET
Dallas: 0-6 ATS when playing 8 or more games in 14 days
New Orleans: 8-2 ATS after a game where both teams scored 105 points or more
Detroit at Milwaukee, 8:05 ET
Detroit: 13-2 ATS after 2 straight games outrebounding opponent by 15 or more
Milwaukee: 10-23 ATS revenging a loss vs opponent of 10 points or more
Indiana at Utah, 9:05 ET
Indiana: 54-32 OVER against Northwest division opponents
Utah: 32-18 ATS in home games after playing a game as an underdog
San Antonio at Minnesota, 9:35 ET
San Antonio: 33-15 ATS after 2 or more consecutive overs
Minnesota: 77-108 ATS after failing to cover 4 of their last 5 against the spread
Oklahoma City at Portland, 10:05 ET
Oklahoma City: 69-44 ATS in road games after 1 or more consecutive unders
Portland: 10-24 ATS after successfully covering the spread in 2 or more consecutive games

I'm not going near Minny. I thought they play at home. At neutral court, it's the right line, so no bet here for me...

Refs in Cleveland are just horrible for Cleveland as well, so not sure I will play them, though I took Cleveland +5 in the morning as partial bet, before I saw the refs...

Cavs were a +5 dog to the Bulls last game, not sure how they translate to a 5 point dog versus a much better Nuggets team even if Denver is in a bad scheduling spot.

Have it personally lined at 6 pushing 6.5

The nuggets are still underrated. Because there really are no superstar players the lines on the road can only be so high IMO. Cannot go against this team right now. The efficiency on offense is just too good. The three guard lineups are just awesome. Shaw knows what he's doing and they have great mojo right now

As far as revenge angle goes, I'm personally don't believe that a team that plays a very injured rival - considers winning against him as revenge win. I think that Clips want to win Memphis in full roster for both playoff elimination and home loss earlier this season.
I could be wrong though...

There's eccentric, there's irrational, there's absurd and then there are the New York Knicks.
Madison Square Garden's NBA inhabitants have never been known for their sensible business models, but the 3-13 Knicks have officially reached new levels of insanity. According to the New York Daily News' Frank Isola, head coach Mike Woodson, if he's fired, could be succeeded by assistant general manager Allan Houston:
But Allan Houston, supposedly the GM in training, looms as a potential successor. The word around Knicks camp is that [James] Dolan wouldn’t hesitate to promote him to head coach if the Knicks don’t turn things around sooner than later. Houston’s $100 million contract placed the Knicks in salary cap purgatory for years. Maybe having to coach this Knicks team would be his payback.
See what I mean? The Knicks are a circus, and every time you think the madness has subsided, another clown climbs out of a pint-sized car.
The New York Post's Marc Berman initially reported that Woodson, who has coached the Knicks to nine straight losses, was on the hot seat. However, Berman was throwing around replacements like Jeff Van Gundy—not Houston, who has no head coaching experience at the NBA level.

It's unclear, then, what Knicks owner James Dolan has to gain by promoting Houston. Such a move could be considered a last resort, only to be explored if the Knicks were unable to find anyone else, but the language here throws us off. Dolan wouldn't "hesitate" to endorse Houston? Does that mean the former Knicks shooting guard is his first choice? Is it Dolan's way of showing Mikhail Prokhorov that he can promote former players, too?
Or is Dolan just aware that few veteran sideline wanderers want to work for him anymore?
George Karl, the reigning Coach of the Year, remains unemployed and is presumably itching for another job—just not with the Knicks.
"There are days I wish it would ring, and there are days I don’t want it to ring," Karl told Dave Krieger of 850 KOA in Denver. "I mean, I watch the Knicks play, and I wouldn’t want to be in that hell for a million dollars."
Of course, he wouldn't. For starters, $1 million isn't all that much for a head coaching gig. The Brooklyn Nets are paying Lawrence Frank $1 million to essentially write in his journal.
Mostly, these are the Knicks, dysfunctional as ever. Dolan's reputation for meddling in team affairs could scare off the most coveted coaching prospects, no matter what he's offering them.

Still, we have to believe the Knicks, if they fire Woodson, will look elsewhere first. Throwing a rookie head coach into this firestorm is just cruel. [h=4]If the Knicks fire Mike Woodson, who should his successor be?[/h] <form action="/polls/create" method="post" id="poll-vote-form"> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice0" type="radio"> Jeff Van Gundy </label> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice1" type="radio"> Lionel Hollins </label> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice2" type="radio"> Allan Houston </label> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice3" type="radio"> George Karl </label> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice4" type="radio"> Vinny Del ***** </label> <label> <input name="vote" value="choice5" type="radio"> Other (specify below) </label> Submit Vote vote to see results </form>

New York isn't playing up to snuff for Woodson, the man who guided them to 54 victories last season, so why would the inexperienced Houston be any different? Nothing can be ruled out at this point, though. These are the Knicks; disjointed thinking is their bag. They may pursue Van Gundy, or they could roll with Houston. They may even retain Woodson.
What they do next is anyone's guess, especially if they lose to the Nets. Falling at the hands of their lowly, inner-city rivals could ensure all hell breaks loose within the walls of the Garden.
Or, it might compel Dolan to institute french fry-flavored bubble gum Fridays. He's Dolan. And these are his Knicks. His unpredictably disoriented Knicks.
Anything, to a fault, is possible.

MEXICO CITY (AP) -- The NBA is back in Mexico for a regular-season game, and the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves are learning there's an additional rival to conquer: The altitude.

During a practice game Tuesday, Minnesota's players looked noticeably exhausted.

"It was very tough getting through the sprints," Kevin Love said. "You lose your breath very easy in here, but it was a good practice. Hopefully we'll have our wind tomorrow."

The Timberwolves and Spurs will play Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m. EST.

Sitting at 7,350 feet above sea level, Mexico's capital is at a far higher elevation than Denver, which is the NBA's highest venue at 5,280 feet.

"In Denver, which is the highest city in the United states, we can feel (the altitude) in the first five minutes," the Spurs' Manu Ginobili said. "I'm sure it will be much more difficult here."

Minnesota, which will be the home team, has never played in Mexico. During the practice, Love and the rest of his teammates looked visibly tired.

"We did not know the altitude would affect us so much but we were able to run a bit during practice," said Jose Juan Barea, who has twice played in Mexico for Puerto Rico's national team - in Cancun and Guadalajara.

"The trainer asked us to drink a lot of water because he wants to make sure we're OK," Barea said.

Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman said he plans to modify his strategy a bit to take the city's altitude into account.

"We have to be very aware on probably getting guys in earlier than we normally would," Alder said. "We had a scrimmage to get ready for it. Our substitutions will be quicker."

Spurs coach Greg Popovich said he won't change his substitution plan and simply hopes that "as the minutes go by, the (altitude's) effect will pass. I'm not planning any changes."

I don't see any way they play this game in Mexico City. The arena is filled with smoke.

taking a stab at the Portland/OKC u205 don't get it why set it at that number if the past h2h have shown plenty of unders but yet Portland have had an offensive explosion at home, eclipsing 100pts all but 1.

NBA TV just reported that the teams were preparing to leave the arena. This thing is going to be canceled.

There's no way they can safely say that all the smoke has been removed from the arena, or that it is safe to breathe.
