Wiz playing 3rd game in 4 nights, off a b2b all against pretty strong teams. If a team has 3 in 4 but 2 of the 3 are against scrub teams its bad but not as bad as 3 in 4 against okc which went to ot, dallas and san anton

San Anton looked like a well oil machine during their road trip and were able to monitor mins thanks to the blowout victories

Pop has the tendency to exploit young inexperienced teams and if I recall correctly they put the boots to the wiz each time they played em last year including the game in texas where they were up close to 30 at halftime

So ya I like the spurs tomorrow 1st half and prob game as fatigue should catch up to the wiz against this deep, deep spurs team

It's difficult to not like the sixers tomorrow. Houston is really not that impressive to me especially away. The FT shooting is disgusting and possibly looking ahead to playing at msg maybe?

For some reason unable to cut and past Killer sports trends.
They like Heat Over
They Like Detroit and GS
They like the Wizards
They do not like the Wizards
They like Wizards under

Seem to be better on totals then sides

Very interesting picks. Usually takes me a long time to make a play but you have no problem with 5 from the start.

I like Oklahoma and Utah tonight.
Probably Denver looks good as well, but I never play against the Lakers.

Oklahoma matches really well against Clippers I believe. I also think that they been waiting for this game for some time now. Looking at their schedule, this is the first real playoff team they meet this season (Dallas, Wizards, Detroit and Minny are borderline playoff teams). Last year they used CP3's absence to get the win in Staples Center, but somehow I think they will pull it off tonight as well. If not, I will back them against the Warriors probably.

As for Utah, I wish NO would have won last night or at least didn't have 24 minutes of garbage time, but still, a loss here and they could be waiting up till 29.11.13 to get that first win of the season...

I play against the Lakers no problem. Here. Well that might be a problem.

OKC does match up. The Paul-Westbrook match up was mostly Westbrook. Not sure it makes my card anyway and the assumption you should play them the next day against GS is just something in your head with no obvious reason. The purpose of this exercise is to make money and until you give reasons for bets you waste a lot of peoples time.

The Suns played away at NO and won.
Away at OKC and lost by 7
Away at the Spurs in worst 4 in 6 and lost by 3
The final result was they beat the spread in those games by 31 points and the blinding stupidity of not even thinking about them tomorrow is amazing.
By the way what is the problem with Minn and Atlanta?
I am going to lock in the Lakers and wait to see the refs in the morning.

Suns at least in my eyes are a team to stay away from.

I think that their roster is really weak, but on the other side, they are a bunch of players that are given a chance to finally prove their worth and don't want to miss that chance.

I expect the other shoe to drop at some point, but I have no idea when and I just prefer not to guess.

It makes sense to ride them while they hot, but that is not my style of capping at least.

Why Minny Tuck?

I think that Hawks should take care of the Knicks, but I think that Cleveland has the frontcourt to match Minny's and Kyrie can match Rubio of course.
If anything, I would throw a few cents at Cleveland ML here...

It's not an assumption, betting Thunder off a loss was money for several seasons now and until proven otherwise, why stop taking them?

Last year, Thunder were 16 - 5 ATS after SU loss
The year before that 13 - 5 ATS after SU loss
The year before that, they were 14 - 10
The year before 24 - 7

In my eyes, it's good enough of a trend to trust till proven otherwise...

Atlanta & Washington have both played 7 games, and neither team has had a game total less than 196 pts. Atlanta's total line for Tues. is 199.5, & Wash's is 198.5 - if both their current floors for scoring hold, there's obv. little room for Under to cash in their respective games.

Over time OKC showed that they could beat bad teams badly. As a dog however playing teams that might better than them last 20

As to the remarks about Cleveland----I have a phobia about betting teams that have 1 ATS win this season and are 1-14 SU last 15 on the road. As to the Suns ----in most categories they and Portland are very close but the Suns have played better teams without breaking in difficult spots. I have been looking at the refs and it seems 2 homers and 1 ref who does not like the home team. Definite edge to Portland. On your evaluation of the individual players? What seems clear is that Hornacek is the anti Gentry. Gentry managed to get very little out of his players while Jeff gets a great deal.
The point is there may be no point to us talking. When you asked why Minn when they were playing Cleveland I do not know what to say or think. Cleveland has played amazingly bad this season and you wonder why someone would bet against them. I still think you know a lot about the game but its not coming out in a form I can recognize or understand. GL

didnt clev beat minnye arlier this year by 1 at home? Shouldnt minny want revenge and get it?

Already locked Wolves -8. I disagree with divol, i don't think that the Cavs frontcourt can match the Wolves, not the way they haven been playing. This Cavs team plays no defense, and the Wolves have too many weapons, inside and in the perimeter. I smell a blowout.

Also interested in the Wizards/Spurs total, probably wait for a line movement.

Regarding Cleveland. I agree that they are in terrible form (so are the Rockets), but as I can see it, the line already taken it in to account.

Cleveland and Minny in even form, are very even teams in my opnion, so the line should have been around 4.5 points. Cleveland's bad form is the reason for them getting 8 points here.

Cleveland not only won by one point against Minny. They lead by 20+ points almost the entire game, so I do like their match ups here.

As far as frontcourts match up goes, I think that Cleveland has very deep and talented front court.

Bottom line, I really wouldn't be surprised to see Minny win by double digits, but I see also a decent chance for Cleveland to win SU here. In my eyes, Cleveland shouldn't get more than 3.00 - 3.50 odds to win SU here, not the 4.14 they get in Pinnacle...

I obviously respect your opinion, but i think that saying the Cavs and the Wolves are even teams is a stretch.

The Lakers got buried by Denver because Denver played a very fast physical style and the older Laker team simply could not keep up their blinding speed and physical strength. This Denver does not have the physical strength or speed and this Laker team does not have a bunch of old men. Tuesday night
Steve Blake played 27.27 minutes. That was the longest any Laker played and they owe this Denver team big time. They lay down here---and they can kiss my ass.

Still, this is B2B in the high altitude of Denver and Lakers so far in B2B, lost both times ATS and SU, both times in double digits.

Lawson and Robinson are probably the worst defensive PG duo I saw in a very long time, but I'm not sure that Blake and Farmar can take advantage of that and I'm sure that they won't be able to stop Ty and Nate from scoring.
It's true that McGee is out, but Farried is actually the one that gave Lakers a lot of trouble, despite his small height - his energies are something that Gasol couldn't match before and I doubt it will change tonight.

I don't like this Denver team and I think they made a lot of mistakes the last 2 years (especially this summer), so I wouldn't bet on Denver anyway probably, but I don't see many angles favoring the Lakers here.

I would much rather trust Lakers when they will host Denver at home and they should get +3 with their current roster (they play Denver next time in 2014, so I doubt it will be the case).

I obviously respect your opinion, but i think that saying the Cavs and the Wolves are even teams is a stretch.

I think that Rubio and Love = Kyrie and Varejao. I rate Kyrie probably a bit higher than you and Rubio a bit lower than you.
Pekovic is a beast on offense, but mediocre defender, while Bynum, Thompson, Bennet, Zeller and others - allow Brown to simply look for the hot hand each night.

The only reason why I would rate Wolves higher, is simply the huge advantage in the coach position.

Bucks are interesting getting 6 points. Magic started 5-0 ATS, but 0-3 since. Dont trust Magic in favorite role and Bucks have some decent pieces that can score. Bucks with some value after blowout loss to King James last night.

Cavs have lost 7 in a row ATS and on the road lost by 15 - 3 times and by 5 and 6. Meanwhile Twolves healthy for first time in couple of years and have dynamic Love/Rubio and efficient offense. Twolves were on b2b and upset win at MSG when they met in cle, this time off loss, though back end of 3 in 4. Like twolves to get quick revenge mainly due to cavs road struggles.

Killersport trends

13-0 trend supporting Orlando that goes back to 2004
12-0 trend Wizards over goes back to 2001 interest
10-0 over trend for Brooklyn that started in 2013 definite interest
Suns 0-10 ATS trend going to 2010 essentially a gentry trend I Think but who knows
Spurs 9-0 ATS trend goes back 2012 sounds silly
Utah 0-10 under trend 2012 that sounds silly

I like the fact they back my possible over play in the Wizards game. You said yesterday they did well on totals right?

They went 2-0 yesterday but just started tracking. The Nets trend all from 2013 might get a bet from me after a look.

Haven't had a chance to read here yet. But first impression: Houston.

This team poses endless match up problems for my Sixers. The Sixers are coming back to life, losers of 4 of their last 5.

Hawes on Howard should be comical, and I wouldn't be surprised if Howard pulled off a 30 and 20 night tonight.

Would guess the issue is how sick Houston is. It is clear that Philadelphia can be dominated. Any input on Houston current health?

Gonna hold my nose and put that bet on Utah :X Only shot at a win for awhile...

square as hell, but on Brooklyn to right this ship. Off to a shitty start, but they're too good not to start piling up wins.

Knicks-Atlanta Over. Atlanta games been flying over, and knicks without tyson going over. DOlan guaranteed this win, which means jack shit, but if NY has a shot in this game, its by outscoring atlanta, not shutting them down

Any thoughts on that Cats/Celts total? I kind of like the over, that Boston offense changed a bit after Crawford went to the point. Olynyk being the center brought some offense too, and i think the lines haven't adjusted yet. My only concern is the Cats having struggled a bit on the offense versus the Hawks. Maybe that can change with Al bringing more space today for the shooters. Kind of divided here.

Raptors-Grizzlies

The Grizzlies continue to struggle to start this season, and surprisingly it is their defensive efficiency that is really hurting them, as they are in the bottom ten in the league in this area. This should improve over the season, as they have returned the same basic personnel. After their big win against the Warriors, they struggled against a superior Pacers team that plays their own slug-it-out-style of basketball. Tonight, they again get just what the doctor ordered, in a soft Raptors team that is coming off a tough double overtime loss.

Teams coming off losses need good locker rooms and team chemistry to be able to rally and get up for their next game. Good coaching and teamwork is something I fail to see in the Raptor’s organization. The Raptors are coming off a really ugly double overtime game, in which they trailed by big numbers for most of the game. They fought their way back, but teams coming off an overtime loss that were trailing by 8 or more points after the third quarter are 13-20-3 ATS (39.4%) when playing as a road dog over the last ten seasons. The Raptors expended a lot of energy working their way back into the game, and lacking much of a bench, their starters logged a lot of minutes. Their three backcourt players averaged 50 minutes. While we’re on the subject, their backcourt was particularly heinous in this game, shooting 22.8% from the field, while taking 68.4% of all available shots. Don’t expect this to improve much tonight, as they are the fourth to last effective backcourt in the league, maintaining the third to last field goal percentage, and Rudy Yag should push his limits, as he wants to have a good performance against his old team.

Teams coming off a game that had at least two overtimes are 25-44-1 ATS (36.2%) when playing as a road dog since the 2006 season, losing by an average of 10.39 points per game. If they lost the overtime contest, they are just 7-17-1 (29.2%) in the same scenario. But looking deeper at the game, one can see how much effort and energy the Raptors expended, just to eventually lose. They attempted 114 field goals, which is 30 more than the Rockets attempted, and still lost, not surprisingly given that their effective field goal percentage was just 36.8. Teams coming off a road loss as a dog in a game where they attempted 100 or more shots from the field are 13-22-2 ATS (37.1%) when playing in another road game over the last ten seasons. Teams coming off a game where they had 19 or more field goal attempts than their previous opponent, and still lost as a road dog, are 29-48-1 ATS (37.7%) when playing again as a road dog, since the millennium. It is very deflating to go into overtime and have all the chances the Raptors had to put the game away, and still lose. To show the rarity of the situation, since the 1995 season, there have been over 21,000 team losses, but only 42 times has a team had 30 more field goal attempts than their opponent and lost. After these games, teams are 14-24-4 (36.8%) ATS. The Raptors also managed to selfishly rack up only 10 assists. Over the last five seasons, teams playing as a road dog coming off a game where they had ten or less assists are 13-26-1 ATS (33.3%). Since the 2006 season, teams playing as a road dog coming off a game where they had less than 10 assists, and more turnovers than assists are 9-46 SU (-9.27 points per game) and 19-35-1 ATS (35.2%).

When teams get tired, their legs tend to suffer most, and jump-shooting dependent teams face tough games in this spot. The Raptors are 0-11 SU, losing by 16.18 points per game when playing their sixth game in nine days as a road dog over the last two seasons, and teams playing their sixth game in nine days as a dog against the Grizzlies are 2-21 SU (losing by over 11 points per game) and 8-15 ATS (34.8%) since the core of Randolph, Conley, and Gasol have been playing for Memphis.

Tonight will be Rudy Yag’s first trip back to Memphis since being traded. He is shooting a career low 35.6% from the field, and don’t expect that the mad Grizzlies will take it easy on him defensively. The Grizzlies are the number one team in efficiency in the pick and roll offensively this season, while the Raptors are 29th in defending this play. Expect Conley and the bigs to take full advantage of this tonight. The Raptors are 1-4 SU on the road so far this season, averaging just 90.6 points in regulation, while the Grizzlies are 3-1 at home and shooting 50.5% from the field on their own floor. The Raptors are last in the league in assists per game, and fourth to last in field goal percentage. The Grizzlies should win both these statistical categories tonight, and when home favorites win these, they cover the spread 74.8% of the time over the last five seasons, and the Grizzlies themselves are 70-2 SU, winning by over 12 points per game and 56-15-1 ATS (78.9%) as a home favorite when they win these areas.

The Raptors as a dog are 1-8 SU (-10.56 points per game) and 2-7 ATS after Rudy Yag is their high scorer. The Raptors have been covering spreads, but teams that are on a three or more game ATS covering streak are 17-72 SU (-9.34 points per game) and 34-54-1 ATS (38.6%) over the last five seasons when they are coming off a road loss.

When the going gets rough, take the toughest opponent. Tonight, that’s Memphis.

Would guess the issue is how sick Houston is. It is clear that Philadelphia can be dominated. Any input on Houston current health?

Good point. I just read some stuff about the HOUS players. It seems there are "cold symptoms" going around, which are still affecting Beverly and Garcia. Garcia already sat out Monday. Both are Gametime decisions. Parsons has a hurt back, and also a GT decision. I'm reading Harden might sit out these next two b2b games.

Agree. Small bets on Portland minus 2 first quarter and Suns plus 8 (bought half point at 5d) for game.

Orlando minus 2 first quarter. Orlando this season 4-0 ATS first quarter and Milwaukee 0-3 ATS away in first quarter.
Some negatives here.

@WojYahooNBA: Denver has made it clear to Kenneth Faried's reps: There are no active talks involving him. Knicks offered Shumpert. Denver rejected idea.

Cats/Celts over is a go. I really like the changes the Celtics made, they are way more offensive than before, and the Cats can do their own damage, although being a more defensive team now than before. I'll take my chances.
