I tend to agree with this. Don't think we should read to much into the Warriors couple of losses lately, they're obviously able to elevate their game whenever they need to and like emkee says, they'll want to knock off the Bulls here.

The heat are in a very bad place right now. It really could not be worse.

On the other side not only are the Wizards getting healthy, the team is coming off two home losses and is avenging a home blowout loss to the heat earlier this month. The wiz will not be taking the heat lightly. This should be a 20 point win
 
Just a tad bit worried by the line but I think the opener at -2 was based on the records and the Wizards latest performances at home.... At least I hope so.
 
Few thoughts so far:

Wizards - everyone talks about them - hope it's not a trap...

Hawks - Both teams in good shape, Hawks are the better team. Too many times Portland been too hot from behind the arc. Stats should even out.

Chicago - Bulls are a decent team and actually have good record without Noah. GSW in a small let down spot. I don't think they will overlook the Bulls, but I just don't believe you can play twice the way they played against Cavs

Under in MSG - why not? Both teams trends support the play, days of the week like the play as play

Over TT Kings - 132 and 118 points Kings scored against LAL this season... why should it be different today.

I like the Cavs tonight in some variation... Should bounce back...

Also want to continue and fade the Rockets...
 
I must say the Knicks looks tempting. Porzingis questionable but Anthony fully fit again.

Edit: Well fully fit might be an exaggeration ... He's playing at least.

Portland Trailblazers - Atlanta Hawks

Portland and Atlanta both been hot lately, winning 4 out of 6 last games. Portland been amazing from behind the arc in those wins, at least sporadically. They shot no less than 42.3% behind the arc, including the amazing 54.8% behind the arc against the Wizards and that's what helped them win games and it sure helped that three out of the four wins were against bottom 10 teams when it comes to defending 3 points shots.
Portland are a good shooting team, but even after this amazing display, they are ranked 8th in the league in three point percentage. It's always dangerous to bet on shooting drought in team's home, but Hawks usually play Portland well and I think it's either Hawks or skip tonight.


Houston Rockets - Detroit Pistons


Pistons are a healthy team and Rockets... I'm giving up to try and guess what kind of a team Rockets are. I sure know they aren't a good team. They are a crazy team that can win or lose to any team on any given night, but it's always a good idea to fade them, when they are playing Eastern rival. Rockets are 4 - 11 ATS against Eastern Conference this season, including 2 - 7 ATS at home.
Pistons in good form, Rockets are bouncing up and down, going from bad to awful to almost good and back to awful again.
Pistons or nothing for me here.


Washington - Miami


Terrible spot for the Heat, schedule wise, injuries wise and just a giant mess all around. I really doubt that Udrih or Dragic could guard Wall (I'm sure they couldn't), but young Johnson is way over his head, suddenly playing 30+ minutes a night as starting (and only) point guard for the Heat, since Udrih and Dragic went down injured.

Long road trip, one home game and another long road trip is the worst possible thing to an aging roster that has several injuries.
Wizards off two home losses, will do everything they can, not to lose three in a row. Bad luck against Boston, Portland catching fire from three point line and four games winning streak seems like something from the far past, but it's not.
Porter, Gooden and Humphries are out, but Wizards in much better spot than the Heat.


Orlando - Philadelphia


Don't sleep on the Sixers. Ish Smith, D'Antoni and Colangelo - all were brought for one reason only. To stop the tanking. Sixers are bad and will be this season, next season and maybe even further down the line - but they will try to play hard now and win. They will fail most of the nights, but they can easily be a covering machine for a short term.
Tonight it appears that bookies finally put the correct line on them, making them mediocre dogs in Orlando.
Skipping this one, since there will be better chances to bet on the Sixers, but won't fade them now for sure.

Thought that at first too. Only problem is the last time they got blown out which was around Christmas time in Portland, they followed it up with only a four or six point win in PHX. Some teams take it personal when they get blown out. Not sure the Cavs fall under that category.

Well, yes and no. You know as well as I do that if it's not a blowout at HT, the books are going to throw out an inflated line to try and sucker everyone in. Only thing going for the Cavs is that Brooklyn's -10.4 in the 2H their last 5, so who knows...

If the 2h number is above the full game line you always stay away. And yes the nets have been a horrible 2h team. I am just not willing to lay 13 with the cavs

the heat have no competent players to handle the ball... if the wiz dont win this by 20+ points it would be very sad
 
Public play was due for a win I guess... Heat looked just dead in the water... Their problem is that they have 5 games road trip, one home game and back on the road for 3 more road games... Heat can really be in trouble...

Not public really.

After 9-10 years of us doing this play, I think even a novice could figure it out. It is the BEST situational play in NBA, bar-none.
