E.T.G.

One of trus baby mommas
Wuts up guys, hope every1 had a good wkend. Black Jack kicked the shit outa me. Just glanced over some of these lines, I will narrow this down later when I wake up..Didn't look over any totals or anything....Will update the record and that stuff when I wake up.

Dodgers -1.5 -105
Pitt -135
Giants +136
Florida +124
Cards -105 - What the hell am I missing here besides Rockies 6 game win streak. Lopez off the D/L in first start and is PK?
Orioles -124
Astros -130
Angels -148

Very early for me but so far I like the Fish and the Orioles. Surprised you have no take on the Brew crew v Smoltz?

I can't believe Smoltz is a dog here, despite Chipper being out. I don't care if it's a trap or not, the Brewers suck at the moment and we're talking SMOLTZ who just did the job against the Mets and Boston. The Brewers are COLD.

So I'll be taking the Braves almost surely.

GL tonight Green. :shake:

etg..what do you think of bsox with J.Beckett? His record is amazing for this season and bsox's bats has good # vs L. His # against Indians and his injury scare me bit

Id be wary of the bosox ray, the indians are a hot team, and for the reasons you stated Beckett may come out cold.......Sat the Braves do look slendid, Chuck James took care of business what makes you think that Smoltz doesnt...Chipper is nice but we have plenty of other hitters on the team...

Satyr - I didn't have a line for this game last night. Just looked and I see Sheets -117. Brewers have won something like 4 out of their last 14 games? What about the Under 7.5? I don't expect either pitcher to get hit and this # is still alive in a 4-3 game. Smoltz and Sheets have been pretty shutdown as of late.

Ray - I don't usually pay -196 on the ML, so if I was going to play this game it would be on the RL. Sowers just has not been good this yr but you have Beckett back from the D/L with that blister. Indian lineup is capable of hitting him for sure.

Terp - Best of luck

Trout - AC was a great time but def didn't get my gambling fix there. I got raped on the Black Jack table. I pull 21 with a 9 from 12, dealer pulls 21 with a 5 from 16!.. I pull 20, dealer pulls 21. I have BLACK JACK, Dealer has BLACKJACK. It went on like this all wkend but I def had a fun time partying. Don't remember Saturday night, hah.

Jack - Just woke up! :wacka wacka:

Aight guys, I am going to look at some of these lines, crunch some numbers, and find some winners. I feel like I have been on vacation for 2 wks.

Baltimore -125:

I am involved in a lot of Oriole games for some reason, I don't know why but that is the way it happens. Orioles lead the series 4-0 on the yr and in 3 of those 4 losses, the Royals have scored exactly 1 run each game. Guthrie is 0-0 w/ 1.61era in his last 3 games. That should tell you something, he has pitched real well only to take it in the ass from his bullpen. A typical scenario in Oriole games. The Orioles are 1-2 in the last 3 starts Guthrie has made and just 2-3 on the yr in the 5 games he has started since being moved from the Reliever position. I think that Guthrie's career numbers in this game are a wash, as far as I know he didn't start any of those innings but came in for bullpen work. He has found his groove as a starting pitcher in the AL. Guthrie is 1-0 w/ 3.57era on the road, 1point higher than at home. LH batters are hitting much better off Guthrie at .291 vs. .200 for RH batters and .209 overall..De la Rosa is a harder pitcher to predict. He can be good or he can be terrible and you never know which one it will be. He walked 7 batters last game over 4.1 innings and allowed 6hits and 9runs. The start before that he went 6.1ip, 6hits, 2er, 0bb. There is no consistency in De La Rosa's game..At home he is 3-2 w/ 4.7era in 30.2ip. He has a lot of trouble with LH batters and only sees a limited amount of them because he is a LHP himself. LH batters are hitting .341 off him. Orioles hit LHP better than RHP at .300 over their last 10 games and .275 on the yr. Orioles have now won 3 in a row while the Royals have lost 5 in a row. Guthrie has been very good his last couple of games and overall on the yr and today the Orioles reward him with his first Win since 5/8 vs. Tampa

Cards -110:

Ok this line caught me a bit off guard. I am aware that Lopez was pitching really well before feeling tightness in his elbow and sitting on the D/L for more than a month and the Rockies have now won 6 games in a row. However, I am just not feeling the Rockies in this game. They have some good bats and apparently they are a hot team. Rockies took the first game last night and I like the Cards to bounce back with their best pitcher right now.. I asked myself if Rodrigo Lopez is as good as he was pitching (1.79era in 3starts) and the answer is no. He was a pitcher over-achieving and then he got hurt and well now he is no longer a hot pitcher. I think he will be a little rusty to start out with.. Looper's last 3 games stats are still skewed because of that Detroit game however the Cards win when he pitches. Cards are 7-3 on the yr in Looper games and he is 6-3 overall. Looper has had exactly 2 breakdowns all yr in 10 games started and they have both come on the road, a bit of a concern here but I really like this situation. The series is tied 2-2 this yr and Jeff Francis owns both of the Rockie's wins, he aint pitching today. The run of 6 straight Wins ends tonight.

Angels -1.5 +130:

It is tough to comprehend what Ervin Santana does at home vs. what he does away.

Overall: 3-6 w/ 6.00era
Home: 3-1 w/ 2.33era, Whip of 1.15 and batters hitting .230 off him.
Home Career: 22-6 w/ 3.00era and batters hitting .228 off him.
Away: 0-5 w/ 9.30er and batters hitting .346 off him
Away Career: 9-16 w/ 6.98era and batters hitting .296 off him.

Those are tough numbers to comprehend and I am sure the Angels are wondering what the hell is going on as well. Basically you bet Santana at home and ignore his road problems because there is just no connection. He is a top pitcher in the AL at home and a bottom tier pitcher in MLB on the road.

The Mariners took the first game yesterday and they have gotten a little hot themselves but I will chalk the Angels loss to traveling 3000 miles after sweeping the Spankees. Its reasonable to assume that was a good let down spot, not trying to take anything away from the Mariners. The series this yr is 5-2 Angels and the Mariners have won 6 of their last 7 and they are scoring a lot of runs in that span. On 4/22 Ervin owned the Mariners at home going 7ip, 6h, 1er, 1bb, 5k and I will look for the same type of performance today.

Feierabend will likely get just one start, because Jeff Weaver could return over the weekend for the Mariners. He is making his first start this yr on the road and I like picking on guys in this type of situation. Angels hit LHP pretty good so Feierabend could run into some trouble if he struggles with his control early.

Pitt -131:

A Gorzelanny homer reporting here. San Diego is red hot (8-2 L10 games) and they travel across the country to face a not so hot team in Pitt (4-6 L10 games). That is where the crap stops. They are a great home team right now but a .500 road team.

"Gorzelanny was forced to leave his previous start last Thursday when he suffered a bruised left thumb while struck by a batted ball by St. Louis' Aaron Miles. However, the swelling in the thumb is now gone.
Gorzelanny has been a great Fantasy find in 2007. He has allowed two or fewer runs in his last five starts and sports a 2.51 ERA." -cbssportsline.com

San Diego can not hit LH pitching and a guy like Gorzelanny figures to be a big problem for them... They do however have a big advantage in the bullpen and that is where a tight game favors the Padres. However, they are throwing David "FAT SHIT" Wells out there who has been nothing less than AWFUL on the road this yr.

On the road this yr: 1-2, 8.84era, 4games, 18.1ip, 31h, 3HR, 9bb, 8k and batters are hitting .388 off him.

Gorzelanny like Guthrie and other pitchers this yr, have been real good but their records don't show it. They have been victims of run support and today the Pirates have an opportunity to change that. If the Pirates don't smash Wells than Gorzelanny will prob end up with a no decision but if they give him any type of lead, he will put it on lockdown.

Gorzelanny at home this yr: 1-1, 2.42era, 4games, 26ip, 24h, 5bb, 16k, and batters are hitting .242 off him.

Pitt offense might of busted their nut in their 3 wins over the Reds this wkend but I will take 4-5 off Wells and expect Gorzelanny to shut it down.

GL with the plays today ETG, how was Atlantic City?

and the O's, back at em huh?

Thanks Renew - AC was a great time. My boys brother is a big high roller so we sat out on the beach bar sat/sun/mon running up $700 tabs for free just getting really drunk. Didn't do that much gambling because I got my ass kicked whenever I went near the Casino. It was a great wkend.

I will take a slightly hot O's with Guthrie on the mound vs. a cold Royals team, I just ask that John Parrish does not pitch today along with Danny Baez and Bradford. Then I will have no complaints.

Hile - No doubt, I hope it treats me better as well. GL Today
