Carmelo Anthony left Wednesday's game late with a laceration in his left ring finger that required six stitches.
Coach Mike Woodson initially said he'll play on Thursday, although Melo isn't so sure, saying his hand is numb. Consider him a game-time decision, which makes sense considering he just received that many stitches. He had 23 points and a full stat line, but hit just 8-of-23 shots before leaving. We're going to put Melo on the injury report and owners should watch for news on Thursday to make sure he's a go against the Heat in Miami.

Phoenix failed comeback at noon on Sunday at MSG, failed OT loss allowing Memphis to come back to close out the trip. Now they come home depressed and tired, facing Dallas on a west coast road b2b. This has avert your eyes written all over it, somebody's gonna win shooting 44% and scoring 90-95 points imo.

I wouldn't bet against the Knicks tomorrow, just my two cents. Tonight was the type of character builder that doesn't wear off until maybe 2 or 3 games later.

Too many question marks with the Knicks game especially if Melo is a game time decision. If you like the Heat you can't like the fact every single person will talk about revenge and beat a dead horse. Knicks feel like the correct side but want nothing to do with this game. Hope the Suns total moves over 200.

I like both Dallas and Heat tonight.
I backed Dallas and Charlotte last night, thinking that Knicks will focus on today's game and Dallas will try to win yesterday, but while being right about the Knicks, Dallas clearly had Phoenix on their mind last night.
Suns are very unbalanced team that is hard to predict what Suns are going to show up. One thing is for sure and that is that Suns have big problems to play 48 good minutes.
At home, in front of their crowd, against mediocre teams they manage comebacks. Against decent teams and Dallas is such, there is a good chance it won't be the case.
Small bet on Dallas ML.

As for the Knicks and the Heat - their previous games against Cats and Wizards proven that they focused on tonight's game with Heat thinking revenge. I took Heat last night, but I hope Carmelo plays tonight, because if he is out, all Heat motivation for revenge can fly out the window.
Both teams with many small injuries, but Heat at home, with revenge angle and off day's rest should take care of buisness...

Do not like the ML bet. Reason is fairly simple. Suns have been favorites 7 times this year. They lost the first game. The next 6 they went 6-0 SU and 3-3 ATS

Any imput on the fourth quarter of the Suns Knicks game? Was that just a gift by the Knicks or did the Suns actually improve their play.

Just noticed 2 things. Suns have won and covered their last 3 Thursday home games and the Suns won their last game vs Dallas after 8 losss so the long streak broken angle applies. See a number of trends supporting Dallas but up until this season Dallas was a real power with Dirk and a top point guard supporting those trends. Now---this real issue is do the Suns pout because they lost a game they could have won vs Memphis or do they say we just played 2 of the best teams in the NBA and we played pretty well.
Dallas by the way is 4-16 away on Thursday with 6 covers.
Will play Suns ML small.
