Dunleavy on Cousins calling him a clown: "I would like to respond but clowns can’t talk. So I’ll mime or make him some animal balloons."

March 15, Kings visit Chicago. Great revenge spot.

Tough to read Bulls right now. Still plan on going against them with top tier Western Conference teams, especially with a West Coast trip. Lost against Kings, beat Suns, now they play a better team than those two. I teased them from a game last night so happy with my number. I think I'd still lay the 8. Teams with balanced guard play and down low play will kill the Bulls.

In similar situations all year, whether it be B2B or against the EC, Spurs have prevailed. But where does their offense come from? Brooklyn getting bodies back to throw at SA, making me like the Nets more and more.

That is true. Its hard to see how the Nets do not cover or GS at 3-7 ATS last 10 at home covers

Chicago Bulls @ Golden State Warriors -8
TOTAL: 191

Fatigue & Bounce-Back/Let-Down Factor
The Chicago Bulls are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and 4th in 6 nights. The Golden State Warriors are on 1 day of rest, but this is only their 2nd game since Jan. 31, while this is Chicago's 4th game in that span. The Bulls are coming off a bounce-back effort, where they won outright in Phoenix after a poor performance in Sacramento. The Warriors are coming off one of their worst efforts of the season in a brutal 16 point loss at home to the Charlotte Bobcats. We saw the Bulls start to let up a bit late in the game in Phoenix, and you don't want to be fatigued when travelling to face G-State.
Advantage: Golden State

Bulls as large dogs/Warriors laying large chalk
Bulls as underdogs of 3 or more: 9-5 ATS
Bulls as underdogs of 7 or more: 2-1 ATS
Bulls as road underdogs: 10-7 ATS
Warriors as favourites of 3 or more: 14-20-1 ATS
Warriors as favourites of 7 or more: 7-5-1 ATS
Warriors as home favourites: 8-14-1 ATS
As we can see here, the Warriors have not proven to be trust-worthy ATS at home.
Advantage: Chicago

Bulls vs. fast-paced teams/Warriors vs. slow-paced teams
The Bulls are ranked 28th in PACE, while the Warriors are ranked 5th.

Bulls (vs. Top 15 in PACE): 8-10 ATS
Warriors (vs. Bottom 15 in PACE): 9-11-1 ATS

Bulls (vs. Top 10 in PACE): 4-7 ATS
Warriors (vs. Bottom 10 in PACE): 7-10-1
Advantage: Bulls (since they're underdogs)

Since December 21st, the Bulls are 15-8. Since their 10 game win streak, the Warriors are 5-7.

Coming off covers as underdogs of 5 or more, the Bulls are 2-6 ATS.

The Bulls have given this Warrior team trouble in the past. They won both meetings last season by double digits. We're getting value here, as the Bulls have played solid basketball for two months now. I'll take them here since the Warriors are in awful form right now for a small play.

Play: Bulls +8 (2 units)

Very reasonable but right now I am not willing to bet them or Brooklyn even though Brooklyn SHOULD cover
may just look tonight or change my mind

The spurs are one team where the players don't matter as much as other teams. All the players know the system and can execute what Pop wants to do. Nets should win but it wouldn't shock me if they didn't. The spurs are just outstanding. Over is better IMO

I like the Spur in this one too. Hard for me to see the nets keeping Duncan off the boards tonight.

These are meaningless stats/trends but I found them a little interesting...

Bulls are 7-0 L7 ATS as road dogs

Spurs have held the Nets (obv diff NJ teams) to fewer than 100 pts in last 26 meetings. There have been only 4 longer such streaks since 1954-55

anyone Knows what's the ATS% of teams winning last game in OT and having to play B2B nest day?

Made a small bet on teaser Nets -1 and GSW -4.
GSW off a home loss to Charlotte, should bounce back.

Spurs subs can do the job, but without Kawhi, I think it will be a very hard task, especially given the fact that Green played his probably best game this season only yesterday.

[h=2]NBA Basketball Betting Trends - Thurs. Feb. 6[/h] San Antonio at Brooklyn, 8:00 ET
San Antonio: 19-6 ATS off an road win scoring 110 or more points
Brooklyn: 0-10 ATS in home games after a home game where both teams score 100 or more points
Chicago at Golden State, 10:35 ET
Chicago: 41-21 ATS in a road game where the total is between 180 and 189.5 points
Golden State: 3-11 ATS in home games after failing to cover 2 of their last 3 against the spread
Small bet on Nets first quarter

Why should GS bounce back and win by 8.5?

Boris Diaw has officially been ruled out of Thursday's game due to food poisoning.

Tim Duncan is already sidelined to get rest after a double-OT thriller on Wednesday, which means Gregg Popovich will have to get very creative with his lineups. Tiago Splitter, Jeff Ayres, Matt Bonner and Aron Baynes should all play extra minutes, and with Kawhi Leonard (hand) also sidelined it should be a busy night for Danny Green. Plan accordingly.

Mike Woodson said on Thursday that this season has been "kind of a disaster ... in trying to get players to compete and play at a high level."

That's a blunt assessment of his own performance, and that of his players, and it adds to a growing sense that Woodson may not last as the Knicks' coach much longer. Of course, there has been background chatter about Woodson's job security all season long and he's still in place as we approach the All-Star break. Only owner James Dolan really knows the score.

The NBA is where amazing happens

The spurs three point shooting really scares me. The players are more than capable of scoring the rock. Defensively though i think the Spurs are in trouble

What does each column represent?

The Spurs’ three stars will miss tonight’s game. Manu Ginobili (tightness in left hamstring) and Tony Parker (back spasms, groin injury) will miss with injuries while Tim Duncan will rest after playing 44 minutes in the first game of a back-to-back.
When asked who was starting for the Spurs, coach Gregg Popovich quipped, “Two Americans, a Frenchman, an Italian and a Brazilian; I’ll let you guys figure out the rest.” Translation: Nando De Colo, Danny Green, Cory Joseph (a Canadian, not an American), Marco Bellinelli and Tiago Splitter will start.
Boris Diaw (illness) will also miss the game and Kawhi Leonard (non-displaced fracture of the fourth metacarpal) will also sit out.
Joe Johnson, Andrei Kirilenko and Andray Blatche will all return to the lineup for the Nets. Johnson will start alongside Shaun Livingston, Deron Williams, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

Look at LA Lakers last night. Barely had any guys and had to keep Sacre in the game with 6 fouls and still won. Crazy shit happens. Two nights in a row?

Seems like the very public wins for the Spurs without their big 3, or 5, have finally caught up to the public.

However, this one is far, far different. Missing a ton their "b" players with Leonard and Diaw.

Think they can only run about 7 or 8 deep?

Still, don't think I can go against them here. Their scheme absolutely destroys the slow, old, Nets. See box score a month ago

I looked at that box score for quite some time earlier today. Manu, Tony, and Timmy scored 48. Leonard and Diaw added 14 more. Deron wasn't playing as well as he is now and KG had a bad game. Game was in SA.

Thing that worries me is the rebounding margin; Spurs were +13. But again, those guys above accounted for 19 boards.

lol at D-Will he is a fat POS now. Use to be my favorite pg, his change of direction crossover and pull up 3, were so sick. Now he is useless.

He can't stay healthy and he can't stay in shape when he hurts his ankles every other week. Don't know why he doesn't wear more protective shoes
