Recent Games with Chicago

[h=2]BULLS AT WARRIORS, 10:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 6, 2014 · 9:52PM
TV: TNT

  • Warriors starting power forward David Lee and starting center Andrew Bogut will miss tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls, Golden State coach Mark Jackson said during his pregame news conference. Lee has been battling a sprained left shoulder and strained left hip, while Bogut has a sore shoulder. Jackson said Lee will miss at least two games and possibly more, while there’s a chance that Bogut will return Saturday to face Phoenix. “He’s got a little shoulder, a little stiffness, soreness,” Jackson said of Bogut. “And with David, just going to shut him down and try and allow his body to rest and recover. He’s been battling, been playing hurt and just made a decision to allow him to get the proper treatment and rest and recover, and we’ll make a decision moving forward.” Lee, who missed Friday’s game against Utah, had just eight points on 3 of 13 shooting and three rebounds Tuesday in a 91-75 loss to Charlotte.
  • Jermaine O’Neal will start at center in place of Bogut, and Draymond Green will start at power forward in place of Lee, Jackson said. O’Neal returned to action Tuesday after missing 25 games following right wrist surgery. They’ll face Chicago’s imposing inside duo of center Joakim Noah and power forward Carlos Boozer. “We will battle, compete and find a way to get it done,” Jackson said. “Carlos Boozer’s a heck of a player, legitimate post threat, pick-and-pop guy and post-up guy. Noah’s a guy that’s as good as it gets big guy diving to the hoop, offensive rebounding, defending, incredible motor. We have our hands full but we’re prepared.”
  • Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said the Warriors still pose a threat even without Bogut and Lee. “I think their depth is one of their great strengths,” he said. “Jermaine played last game. He’s an experienced guy. (Marreese) Speights is a dangerous guy. We have to be ready for everyone.”
  • Jimmy Butler, a 6-foot-7 guard, could spend some time defending Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, Thibodeau said. Over his past 18 games, Butler has averaged 2.44 steals. He ranks fifth in the NBA with 2.03 steals per game. “He could at some point, depending on who else we have on the floor,” Thibodeau said. “He’s done a good job on the point guards.”
  • The Warriors recalled rookie center Ognjen Kuzmic from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League. Kuzmic was assigned to Santa Cruz on Jan. 17 and appeared in seven games, averaging 6.9 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 22.9 minutes.

The fact that golden state is ahead after letting the bulls shoot 55% and only going 3/5 from the line is pretty good

I grabbed -3 -112, -3.5 -102, and -3.5 +105.

And thank you Steph Curry for my -3 1st half cover, that was ridiculous.

Posting here just to keep track of my CTG record...(same as real this year...all the same lol) 10-5 +7.70 units

if lee and bogut played, they would not have covered,, lee being out makes them much better team defensively...

I think that Bogut's absence takes away from defense, anything that Lee's absence gives the Warriors.
I also don't think that Speights so good on defense as well or that GSW going small helps them on defense too much against the big Bulls.
