**************Super Bowl Ingame***************

I already know what the answer's going to be (yes, ATL didn't deserve one), but does it seem a bit unfair that one team never has a chance to get the ball in OT in the biggest game of the year? Rules are rules, but the NFL's OT rules need some fine tuning...

I agree as well. But you def run the risk of a lot more ties if you give the ball to both teams no matter what. I'm always up for shaking up the rules though if it gives us a better game. Heck, if the Falcons got the ball last night it only would have added to the great game we saw.

Yes. And you have made clear that you are the arbiter of what is and what isn't around here. Last night you were waxing poetic about the plight of this country and what is wrong with the people on this board who you assumed were "millenials".

Lol. Waxing poetic? I made one joke to Emkee about it...and there's a history there. But we can certainly discuss millennials, and I wouldn't back away from calling them coddled pussies who don't want to do anything but have shit handed to them for no reason...we do that in the politics forum though.

Good shit man.

Why would you run the risk of more ties?

And in the playoffs, there obviously wouldn't be any ties, so it's a moot point anyway.

Don't know why we can't just have CFL Ot

I get the regular season keeping this, I don't agree but I get it

Playoffs have to go tongue minigames

^ Kind of like Atlanta and Oakland from the top half of the list, and Tampa and Tenny for the longer shots.

The Titans also jumped out at me and I hate to say it but so did the Eagles...add some receivers to that roster and they could contend for the division title.

Houston maybe worth a shot if they decide to just throw in the towel and give up on Osweiler and go sign a vet QB.

TD, matched by TD. Leaving relatively little on the clock. Was more of just a clock analysis. And obviously no OT in the playoffs, I assumed we were talking all overtimes.

Def feel that way about the Eagles. I'll be on them in a lot of futures next year.

Packers and Broncos should not be that high. Packers are Aaron Rodgers and a bunch of guys. Can't win it all like that. Denver as of right now cannot score and cannot stop the run. Will be interested to see how they handle the offseason.

Those odds inflated due to having to wait a year for the payoff?

Likely. Just like overpaying to Federal Income Tax throughout the year, you're giving the government an interest free loan. Same with a wager that takes a year to determine the outcome, your money is sitting in their bank working for them.

Re-watched and figured it out.

Arthur Blank came down to the sideline from the luxury booth mid-third and set off the biggest jinx in Super Bowl history.

Nothing else to see here.

Until next season...

They talked about that on the radio today. They say he's done that every game this year so I'm not sure if it really was a jinx. Now that lame ass Vegas Dave guy, now that was a jinx the shit he said when it was 28-3. Talking shit like he had the game in the bag.
