I’ve said in the past, and this has to be at least 10+ years ago…they need to have an NFL officiating college. Bring in ex NCAA and NFL players. THEY will know the game better AND be able to keep up with the speed. Pay them really, really good money (the league obviously has it) and incentivize guys to want to make it a career.
