Super Bowl In-Game Thread

That line actually has ? Marks in free agency. Including resetting the market for their starting G. They’re way more than a few third round OL from being complete. Kelce is washed and Worthy is their only NFL WR. Rice should be back only to sit out for a year.

If the refs call a fair game, or even give the other team an advantage they can be beat. Tonight showed what an equal playing field is...the early 4th down catch that was erased, Eagles didn't let that bother them.

AFC teams are a bunch of soft ass pansies though and are scared of the Chiefs in the playoffs.....makes it hard to win.

SB hangover is so real and they would be best to reset vs re tool. They have so many holes. You can’t keep beating the Broncos and Raiders with ref help and blocked FGs last 20 seconds all season long and win SBs.

Thank goodness it’s over

Imo Saquon won't be nearly as good next year. His volume this year was nuts.

He was healthy all year this year. Odds are that won’t be the case all season next year. Eagles are well run and having Carter and Mitchell on rookie contracts is nuts. Their my window is open for another year. But they’ll need health.

Like CMC this year. Due to get injured.

Bills Bengals 9ers Eagles final 4 seems probable

AFC is going to be loaded next season ..
91 is a solid grade that contends for the division..
Extremely deep
My current worthless point spread ratings
Ravens 100.84
CHIEFS 99.00
BILLS 98.94
BENGALS 98.71
CHARGERS 94.58

The Eagles defensive front dominated the game, sacking Patrick Mahomes six times while registering 11 QB hits in a 40-22 win. They did not send a single blitz against Mahomes yet still managed to get pressure on 16 of his 42 dropbacks (38%)

I was KC all up until the drive to the casino. Dapped up some of the lifers in there. I got my money in the machine, I had been thinking of flipping…I had my props and my totals.
This old brotha is yelling to anyone that would listen that they didn’t let Montana nor Elway do it! You think Mahomes is gonna 3peat?!
That tipped it for me!

Had the same last minute change of heart too. Gut was rumblin to play the Eagles. But definitely wasn't super confident.

I hit the Egles pretty big, but not as big as it should have been. Watching that shit show for years made me a little gunshy. Still a big bet, as usually all SB/Championship games are - but I wasn't in the mood to watch a game full of those OPIs like we saw immediately. Fortunately, interior pressure is very hard to hide from a holding standpoint. 9ers strength was on the outside and you can just tug those guys to the ground but interior was a wrench that KC couldn't overcome and it became clear no amount of help was going to bail KC out.

Side notwithstanding, happy for Barkley and especially Hurts. May have told this story but there's one of those mic'd up in-season episodes from a couple years ago where Hurts is sitting on the sideline during a regular season game between possessions, and an Eagles ball boy walks up to him and says "Need a fresh headband?" Hurts says no and then proceeds to ask the kid "How are you today, doing okay?" The kid is befuddled and doesn't really know how to respond but finally says "I'm doing great, thanks."

Little peak into Hurts and why he's always been known to carry himself really well, going back to his leaving Alabama and thereafter. Seems like a really good guy.

The few times they showed Lurie scowling I got the impression that this Lombardi just means he's one day closer to eventually firing Sirianni. Maybe not this year but not too long after.

Niners are washed bro. They had their window.

They'll win more games next year than the Leos. They'll actually be favored in every single game in look ahead lines - all 17.

Should have been 8-2 with dogshit health. Anything less than 15 wins is a failure.

Last place schedule FTW.

Holy shit just realized the NFC West gets both the AFC and NFC South next year. Less than 3 playoff teams coming out of the West would be criminal.

Win games yes. Win it all? No way. Division is way too tough. I like Purdy. For the Saints.
Not that division. I like Shanny. Not that division.

Window passed. I’d be pissing my pants giving Purdy 250

Purdy been playing behind a line that made the Chiefs look like an all-pros. 250 is fine now if the when the 5th/6th year will be 100 for starters in 2030.

Who has passed? CMC? Trent? Sure, you could argue that. Or you could say they were injured. Debo is washed and out the door. There is no more windows in the NFL unless your QB is retiring (Saints, as you know - their window will likely never reopen) - the only thing guaranteed is a SB hangover. 9ers 0/3 making playoffs off of them and 2 SBs and a NFC the following year.

Schedule is a joke and when you have a top 3 HC, top 3 OC (HC, again), and the best DC you'll get 150 points of favored spreads over 17 games when the lines start coming out.

It's a joke of a schedule. Bye weeks vs. the entire NFC South. Toughest game will be Texans?

Will Aiyuk come back healthy? His holdout is going to end up costing him! Holdouts tend to get injured, and he got injured very badly last year

They'll definitely have more wins than the Lions. Lions have the hardest schedule in the NFL but they ain't getting far into playoffs. Jmo.

My money will never be on Brock Purdy to win it all again. They should get Rodgers. That puts you over the top. Can't count on CMC to get through a full year anymore and if we're being really honest, the niners are always injured. Can't remember the last time that team was 100% healthy.

Brock is 25 and has legs. I wouldn't trust him in a snow game or rainfall though - he's proven to suck in those settings. Rodgers would get annihilated running for his life with those old legs. Day 1 of the offseason - a ways to go!

Whoever signs Dre Greenlaw will get a serious boost. I've read Eagles are a possible spot, that'd be criminal.

I hope you guys can get far, you've been so close recently. Could be the year. Who knows?

Long recovery but full 100% recovery is expected. I don’t think they necessarily need him with CMC/Backups, Kittle, Jennings, and Ricky to start. They’ll eventually need him. He’ll be back 2nd half of season.

Holdout wouldn’t have avoided that injury. It was severe contact on a low hit by the queefs.

I was KC all the two weeks due to good defense, coaching and better coach.

Started one unit ML.

Obviously adjusted at halftime, thankfully.

That was a perfect game to watch 4 drives and adjust.
