There haven't been two straight games over 5 goals to start the finals since 1997. When there's been 6+ goals in the first game of the finals, the subsequent games have had goal outputs of 3,5,3 & 3 over the past 20 years. The only reason I know that is I leaned under tonight & took some time to look it up on a hunch. Having said that, Nashville couldn't have limited the Pens anymore than they did Monday, holding them to 12 shots, but they still surrendered 4 goals (not counting empty net) & half of the 12 shots were quality scoring chances. This is a tough one to read. Is Nashville capable of holding them down again, or do the Pens step up tonight after a sub-par performance & take total control of the series? I have no clue, but am sticking with the under 5.5 (-135). I may even put a 1/2 unit on under 5 at the price I have available (+140).
