WE WANT THE CUP!!!!

Nashville gonna frustrate Pittsburgh in this series...definitely undertalented, playing solid D and with a hot goaltender...very similar to ottawa. They just don't have the talent though. Cup Finals are great always though...hockey players are tough as fuck and that's what makes these playoffs so god damn good.

The talent isn't that big a gap mostly due to injuries

There isn't one Pittsburgh healthy d man who would play for Nashville, the preds should own the breakout and zone entry games

Up front Sid and Geno are better than Forsberg and arviddsson, Kessel needs a big series, after that both have a ton of solid not great depth

I think Nashville wins barring Sid or Geno just going HAM and shoot at an elite %, which will be hard when they get hard matches vs Subban and Ekholm or Josi/ellis because I expect they lose the possession game

NBC execs and Bettman likely climaxed when Kunitz scored

Omg, hell yeah they did. Especially since Canadian markets don't register in US tv ratings...that would have been a BRUTAL battle more than anything and probably bad tv. I don't give a fuck because I used to love the Devils and their neutral zone trap style, but the game has evolved and gotten a million times more wide open, which has definitely improved the product. Should be fun come Monday night.

I think it's more just Ottawa

Like Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver they are fine cause even if us market dips 1 mil the Canadian market has 6+ if it's van or MTL and 8ish if Toronto

I think Vancouver Boston is the highest rated final of the last decade too that didn't involve chicago

But ya on style Pitt plays like a western team so it works much better

There's a big Subban piece on e60 this weekend too

He's gonna be a huge star after this finals in the states

If he played in NY he would be a massive massive star, bigger than Crosby or Ovechkin

It's funny, teeed...being in a city that lost an NHL team and HATING the fucking Rangers...I've always pulled for the Canadian teams to make playoff runs...Calgary came close and so did Vancouver but Thomas was solid that series as an old man. Really wanted to see Edmonton win that series vs. the Ducks because I think they are fun as hell to watch and McDavid still gets not even close to enough love for being a superstar.

But Nashville in this spot is going to be a great environment too. That city has really taken to pucks. Great crowd and fans.

Ya it's a great city, the hockey media loves it too, also the funny thing is all these American writers mostly non hockey are saying Canada must be sad it lost its team which is hilarious

90% of Canada is cheering for pk

Jesus, teeed. Your post made me read his wiki page. I love the guy's game but had no idea he was that good of a guy. $10 million donations to Children's hospitals should put an entire country rooting for your every move. Damn, that is pretty awesome...had no idea. Nice to see a good guy in the world of prima-Donna dipshit athletes we have now in pro sports.

I laid the -50c with Pitt to repeat/retain/win the cup.

Without Gibson being injured Nashville doesn't even get by Anaheim, IMO, -- huge road win in G4, Ducks had all momentum and were derailed by the injury. They were clearly the better team in G6 but shitty goaltending at bad moments cost them. That's not to take away from Nashville at all...they have the best/hottest goaltender in the playoffs (and I'm a Caps fan, but Holtby was mediocre by his standards), and they play a very sound game. It's extremely effective and limits chances, while they capitalize on the few scoring chances they get.

Obviously Pitt's D is an issue, with Josi/PK/Ellis's speed and ability to fly into the neutral zone, but I think experience/leadership/home ice/stars that come up big in key moments (Sid, Malkin, Kessel) means a lot, too. ... A lot of talk about fatigue, but let's be honest, there's no travel involved, so Pens can take a few days off aside from a morning skate on maybe sat, and just chill/watch film. They're experienced, they don't need to practice. I think they'll be fit/fine. Hornquist should return, too.

Look at who Nashville beat -- the Blues (lol), a great matchup for them as similar style of play but Preds are better ... and a Ducks team that was a bit fatigued from chasing Edmonton/long series and was without its starting goalie for much of final two games. While the Pens played the Caps (who was the most complete team and should have won it all this year, but clearly never will, ever, smh), and the Sens, who I believe are good prep for the Preds due to their style/1-3-1 trap. If the Pens can be patient, control the zone, get traffic on Rinne, and limit odd-man rushes/be weary of Preds' ridiculous speed from back end, I think they get it done. But wtf do I know, I'm a koala so I just smoke and eat all day lol.

And, most importantly, Pens have Gurv -- who is probably streaking somewhere as I type this -- on their side. The Gurv angle is so underrated and you can't overlook it.

Risk $159, not $150 or $160? Random but good luck. Hell of a number at this point.

Nashville must be getting hammered in the series price Mogo cause I just checked & saw -145/+125

Of the 14 game ones played this year only two have gone over the total (with a few pushes). I'll be wagering that trend continues especially with them throwing the hook out there. These two goalies have been phenomenal.

it just happened to be how much i had left in my 5dimes account after football ended and i withdrew a bunch... with 5dimes compromising my personal and credit card information (hacked or sold) i don't trust them for a second anymore...

Let's Go Preds!
Lets Go Preds!
Lets Go Preds!
Nashville is going to be rocking for gms 3 & 4.
IF it makes it to Gm 6. Downtown will be unreal. CMT Awards
That will be the weekend of CMA fest. The scene, crowds & atmosphere will be unbelievable. If your a PITT fan and can make to Nashville for a gm, I suggest you get down here. This city is starving for something good to happen w/ our sports teams.

nearly 70% of the wagers and $$$ is on the under

ill definitely be on the over big

wes mccauley o/u record this season is 26-42

he's one of the refs tonight right?

Agree. I'm on PITT & Over
Also added a Pens / Pirates parlay

kinda curious why the hook has come off w/ all that action

that o/u sample size record is so small, and the refs have a much smaller factor on games than in any other sport

the one thing you can look at is penalties called per game, he's at the top, which if anything should lead to more PP and more goals

Thanks teeed I was short on time and had no idea where to look for this.

Bottom line is this total should've opened at 5 based on public perception and the playoffs so far. It's super shady imo

The playoffs so far haven't been under heavy though, have they? The playoffs for the past few seasons have seen many more overs than "usual," or what most expect.

Well I thought with all the action on the Under BOL would have dropped the hook instead of raising the price.
I was just trying to think what it would take for them to drop it.

Pens neutering Crosby by putting Kunitz and Sheary on his line to start. Kunitz just scored his two goals for the playoffs. And the speedy Hagelin a healthy scratch tells me the Pens will try to bang the Preds D around a bit. Will have to see if it works.

Right. You said "curious to why the hook has come off," so I assumed it meant your shop went to 5.

Lol how could they determine that

I think it probably was but curious what they saw
