If you followed him before he came here, you would better understand. Not saying it’s right or wrong, it would just change your point of view.
I have followed from other sites. I find it remarkable that the same people that bitch continue to follow him in his threads. Yes, it’s obsession. It’s like a personal vendetta. Isn’t there a show called My Strange Addiction?

We have also been through a third of a season in baseball. He has already proven to win on a long term basis. Does it change anything if Pirate is up 20 units? 30 units? 40? Does it change anyone’s betting or beliefs? Yet, Someone keeps track.

YES…it’s bizarre

What is bizarre is your obsession with me grading his baseball plays. As BAR stated I am fine. With that said enjoy your day.

fwiw I really like Pirates thread and find it very informative and helpful. Definitely an asset to the forum. As BAR said awhile ago the folks on this site can use the information as they see fit.

That being said I'm a "units" guy too. So I like Dodgers converting all the plays to units won lost. Just gives a little measuring stick.

Hopefully everyone can stay in their lane and be content. But I appreciate both very much. Thanks

Not an obsession. Haven't commented on your tracking/stalking in a while. But when someone else sees it and comments...I agree. To me, it is still a dick move. Pirate has asked you several times not to, but you do it anyway. Elitist.

I always enjoy my day. I'm retired and do what I want.

I would have NO idea how he’s doing. So your posts gives his thread legitimacy for someone like me so I appreciate it. I don’t tail him but I always like to see how everyone is doing. Appreciate you helping him out.

Exactly. Well said.

Same here retired as well. Far from an elitist. I would more than happily stop grading them if Pirate wished to list and grade his units, but this has been hashed out many times before. Enough of the banter back and forth. Got some small fish to catch on this sunny afternoon.

I appreciate it. I very much cap cappers. To have a record and units is a good start point for me. Good or bad

I'm done with this asinine dialogue. One person says I don't tail, but I want to know. Why? How does this affect you? Another says, "I cap a capper." I had to google the meaning. It says, "to assert the truthfulness of a statement." So, you think Pirate lies? After our good Samaritan has tracked a thousand games (a third of the MLB season) it still isn't enough? Even if you think he lies then why don't you just avoid his posts? Another likes units, but his ranking of plays isn't enough? No one has made a compelling argument to me on why and how units in Pirate's picks directly affects you. Another thinks by tracking he is doing a service for people. The audacity.

I pick and choose the threads that I go into on multiple sites. Some I seek, others I avoid. I wish some of you would do the same and then there would be zero issues. There is where the truth lies...

Cap the capper means finding hot cappers to follow or cold cappers to fade. Or maybe someone has lost 5 days in a row and is due a breakout day. There is obviously more to it than that. But having someone that is keeping an accurate record and win loss result unit wise helps me, especially in baseball when your record means next to nothing. So I appreciate dodger doing that

***4th Umpire Over-Texas/Arizona Over 8-130-In this game we have Todd Tichenor who is 6-3 to the over in 9 games this year, with a 10.2 runs per game average. he's seen only 3 games go under tonights today, 2 by 1 run, he has quite a few Double digit games as they go 13, 14, 11, 10, 13, 7, 16, 5, 7, 10. Recently his last 4 games all his double digits, he is calling 63.9% Strikes and the avg ERA for his games is 5.1, 1.3 WHIP, and a 2.43 SO/K ratio. Over his last 2 years of 65 games, 53.2% have gone over with a 9.6 runs per game average over those 2 years. Tonights game also features 2 starters both with over a 4 ERA, combined with the fact that Arizona averages 4.6 runs on 4.6 allowed runs per game while Texas averages 4.4 runs on 4.5 allowed to the opposition. I have this game at 9 runs, coming in 1 over the total, and combined with some help from Todd, we may have some extra chances at the over.

⭐️Dodgers-116 (Game 2)
Yankees/Angels Over 8-135

yes sir, it's a moral, ethical, and by God your life's legacy to hold his feet to the fire! Thank God for retired people that keep posters on sports forums honest such as yourself. You sir, are a hero

thanks G, unfortunately yesterday wasn't the day. All the collapses and bad breaks went the other way. First bad day like that in a while. Get that out of the way, and grind on today.

8 umpire assignments are officially up, 7 are mostly pitcher friendly or neutral to leaning in the favor of pitchers. Only one with a hitter leaning umpire in Brian Onora in Tampa game with 9.3 runs per game but 5-5 to the over. I'm playing that over based on the pitching and hitting that game. He also has a higher K% and SO/BB ratio than I like. Maybe there will be 1 hitter friendly ump in the remaining 5 or so. Will be in between oncology and other appts so may be later this afternoon. GL to all.

1 Umpire Over---LAD/NYM Over 8.5-W/Adrian Johnson who is avg 11.3 runs per game 7-2-2 to the over with games going like this 8, 10 12, 16, 8, 9, 8, 6. 15. 14 on 61.9% called strikes. The ERA for his games is a whopping 5.5. With the dodgers bats heating up, I have this game pegged at 9 runs already and with AJ assistance we could see double digits.

Braves bringing up a kid straight from Double A, bypassing Triple A. He actually pitched in Single A most of this year so far while Nats are going with one of their best lately Gore who's given up 5 runs over his last 3 starts.

Dont have much time for a long writeup, but here's a quick snippet.

***2nd Umpire Over-Seattle/Houston Over 7-120--Nate Tomlinson-This guy is a notorious hitter friendly ump, his 9 games this year are averaging 9.33 runs per game, on nearly 7 walks a game, with a 2.6 SO/K ratio, and 63% called strikes, and 6-3 to the over. In 2023 his 35 games averaged 11.20 runs per game on 63% called strikes as well. Tomlinson will surely help tonight especially considering Seattle's SP Kirby has been wild this year, and has been a gas can lately, giving up 5 runs last 2 outings. Astros already avg 4.5 runs per game so i think they get at least 5-6 here and the M's should be able to tack on at least 2-3 tonight. Both teams bullpens are ranked outside the top half of teams in MLB in terms of ERA, and I dont see either pitcher going deep tonight.

Not the best day but not a bad day like the day before. Made out with a little + thanks to the #1 Dodgers and 3 out of the top 5. Night games let us down.

*First umpire Over-Brewers/Cubs Over 8-With Laz Diaz, whi si 6-5 to the over this year, with an average of 4.6 ERA, and almost 10 runs per game (9,9) over 11 games behind the plate, with a 2.2 K/SO ratio, on 64% called strikes. His games have seen only 4 go under today's total going like this 8, 9, 6, 11, 23, 6, 9, 9, 7, 16, 5. He's not the most hitter friendly ump, but recently has been calling less strikes, more walks, resulting in more runs. His last 2 years in AL games he's officated 32, and has an 18-14 record to the over in that span with almost 9 runs per game. With this being a day game, and milwaukee most lilkely opening the dome for the day, the ball flies a lot better. As we saw with 2 good pitchers last night, these teams can hit regardless. The pitching isn't as good today with Rea giving up 12 in his last 3, and Taillon 8 in his last 3, not making it past the 5th inning. brewers avg 5 runs per game while allowing 4.1 and Cubs avg 4.3. while allowing 4.4. I have this game just over 9 runs and with some help with Diaz we could easily see Double Digits again.

Amazing 👏 4-8 top plays and make some money 💰

We've been over this a lot before, #1 played more than rest. Look who's back from the rx, the troll Nolan again. Followed me to BMR where you got banned day #1, reddit and here and you keep trolling. Do you not have anything better to do with your life than stalk my posts everywhere? There's a LOT more to do in the Dominican Republic than hang out in your internet cafe and troll. I know, I've been to La Romana and Higuey (Punta Cana) a few times. You must be really bored, huh?

The RX is dead since we left...
You must have come here to win! No one over there does.

Unfortunately, he has come here to troll with snide comments, like he did at BMR and was banned immediately after being asked several times to stay out of my threads and stop trolling by Hache (Wagerallsports) and also Reddit where I've had to block several of his aliases. He was also banned at the rx a few times. Further, he was even in my Telegram group for a week till we kicked him out for his usual trolling around my lines (which we've proven over and over he's wrong as he's in DR not US), my record, etc. It'd be nice if people were here for good reasons but sadly, we know some people can't help themselves, once a troll always a troll.

BOL today Pirate.

Note: Pitching change...Singer out for KC. Lynch starting.

WE match on Nats and Brewers.

Yeah i saw that but it made me like royals maybe a bit more only because the twinks hitters already had their hitter prep meeting for Singer, the lefty being thrown out there can play tricks on teams without any prep for a minor league call up. Also feel like the momentum is with the royals, who want badly to take this series from the twinks who used to have their number last few years.

Cashed in the 8th and they did get to Double Digits today.

Yesterday you won on the Nats because Atlanta was calling up a new pitcher. Basically same thing today in Minnesota and you went total opposite. Respond if you want, just curious as to the thinking of it.

3. Major Differences---1.the kid from KC had Major League experience over a few years whereas kid for the Braves had started this year in single A and was being called directly from Double A bypassing triple A altogether and 2. KC bats have been hot. The Twins pitcher was good for at least 4 runs which he gave up today. 3. Twins also rely on the home run to win which is something they havent been getting as often this year, they happened to get some late in this game, whereas Braves have been really cold so it was easier to go with the Nats. I should have just gone First 5 after the change, the starter did his job for 5 innings, the next guy came in and blew it big time.

Only 2 umpire games have been announced as of 930AM and they're both more pitcher friendly/neutral umps. Slightly more overs this year but run average in the 8 range. with SO/K ratios higher than I'd like, and ERA lower than what would be ideal. Will keep checking later in day as more get posted.

Texas/Miami Over 8-130

***1st Umpire Over today--Texas/Miami Over 8- with Lance Barksdale behind the plate. Admittedly he isn't the most hitter friendly ump, in a ratings book with extreme hitter friendly and hitter friendly, he is the latter. His metrics also show he is more pro hitter, as this year he is 7-5 to the over, with 8.8 Runs per game, with a SO/Walk ratio of 1.97 (below 2 is terrible for pitchers), on 61.6% called strikes (Very low). Only 4 games out of his 12 have gone under today's posted total, they've gone 12, 9, 9, 4, 3, 11, 10, 10, 8, 17, 5, 7. Interestingly, his only game in Colorado produced only 8 runs. I already played the over before the announcement as I favor 9 runs in this game, and with his assistance me might see 1 or 2 more.
