Asmussen will probably bring Paynes Prairie to Spa, problem is I believe he has poor numbers with horses off of maiden wins.
 
#6 Abbot will be horse I'm looking to play next out for Clement at Saratoga especially with a little more distance

Agree with that, and he looks like he might want some more ground, pace set up well here for him to close but Clement improves them 2nd time out

[h=2]Outside flow at Belmont[/h]Two races in, we've had an early double consisting of favored Paynes Prairie and 9-1 Jubiliant Vision, both of which were three to four wide around the turn, as was favored runner-up Elraazy in the second race. This builds on the impression of an outside flow that has been in place on the main track recently, and is food for thought regarding well-regarded contenders PROMISE ME SILVER (Victory Ride), BLOFELD (Dwyer) and PRIVATE ZONE (Belmont Sprint), who are all breaking from the fence later on.

[h=2]Not sure about the inside on Belmont's main track[/h]It's not an in-your-face, overt thing, but for the last week or so, I don't think the inside has been as good on Belmont's main track as outside paths. And after watching the second race here today, I know I would prefer my horses to be off the rail.
Whatever you thought of MANAHATTA in the second race, I don't think she should have given way as readily as she did after being the clear inside speed, especially when she looked so comfortable in the early stages.
I just think horses running away from the rail are showing more run. And I think this is something to keep an eye on going forward today.

 
This calling in wagers is bullshit, tough to get through at the last minute. I had 89 EXB and thought about putting a win bet but didn't do it
 
Like the 3 in Race 5, 2nd off layoff and stretching should help. Also like 6 but claiming off Chad Brown for an 0-5 trainer is not usually a win angle
 
Potentially good news for CTG horse racing fans, I currently am working on putting together a free contest for the Saratoga meet.
 
R8 Bel is a potential prep race for Secretariat Stakes at Arlington on Millions Day for some of these

He came out of his last a little sore over that rock hard turf, went down to Fair Hill for a little treatment to get ready for Saratoga, should be shipping up there this week

I'll be there just not sure what days yet, depends on when I have a horse running, friend of mine has a house for the first 3 weeks of season so will definitely be up during that period plus a few other days
