Rexy's Week 3 College...

CollegeKingRex

CTG Regular
North Texas -3 medium. LT playing their third game in 12 days on the road. Tough spot for them. Love the UNT coach and think they should be laying close to what they opened, in the touchdown range.

Will be betting other stuff but probably not very much. I only have about three plays now, this is my fourth potential one.

GL!

I like it rex. And you get the better number with the RAS guys driving it down from 6.5. GL.

Just to be fair...as a guy who doesn't post much, but has been around for years and reads this site every damn day...and I've never spoke with Hammer and only posted on Rex's thread's once in a blue moon...so I've got no biased opinion.

The Hammer has been FOR YEARS always in Rex's threads as one of his biggest supporters and has on a ton of occasions asked his advice and had nothing but positive and friendly banter with him. While I agree that for someone that not a lot of people know to come into a Partner's thread and make a comment that (if there was never any communication between the 2) might seem like a jab...I'd be shocked if this were the case.

Just go back and look at Hammer's past posts and they're almost always involved in Rexy's threads in a positive way and I think the guy meant no harm. And I'd be shocked if Rex took it as a knock either (not to throw an opinion out for him).
Just a long-time fan of the site's 2 cents. Keep up the solid work Rex, your thread is a must read every week for this guy. :cheers3:

Well said. Hammer's analysis usually hits the nail on the head. Good poster.

@ Schrute - I will make sure to that moving forward. You should know though, that is was my opinion regarding the state of North Texas that I meant to share with Rex; just a difference in opinion from what I seen, that is all. I find it a bit silly to argue/debate/justify this...but nonetheless I wanted to make it clear.

@ Scarf & GL - thanks guys; you pretty much nailed it, I appreciate it.

@ Rex - apologies for cluttering your thread my man...didn't know it would offend some...definitely not a jab, as I'm hopeful you are aware. I always try to keep it clean. Keep at'r.

Cheers.

They got beat like a teenage pecker. I was wrong.

Tonight, give me the Toledo Dildos. I wanted 11 or more but missed the number so settled for +10 for a medium bet. I don't think losing the QB merited the move here much, and I'm not sure Gunner Kiel is worth all of the hype. He hasn't taken a game snap since his days at Columbus East in Nov. 2011. The Bearcats are finally playing their first game, whereas the Dildos got a nice win over a top I-AA team before getting ambushed by former coach Gary Pinkel and a solid, solid Mizzou last week.

Will get to the rest of the card after this business meeting.

CKR I love three game this weekend...Idaho, Rutgers and Texas A&M

gotdamn this is borderline embarrassing. Ball State looked like shit last week but they still might be able to win the West if Lembo can get this offense in gear.

Bowling Green +7.5 small to medium. Too many points here for IU to lay in their first road game. Betonline made BG a favorite at open and i thoguht IU at less than 3 was right. I'll take a flier on two scores at this point.

I couldn't have been more wrong about Toledo so far this year. Mind boggling that this new D coordinator for the Rockets wants to do soft zones against a QB who hasn't played live action for 3 years. And just like last week, Toledo takes theirselves out of the game early with mistakes.

I feel your pain Rex

I'll regret this one thanks to my recent MAC prowess but 123 EMU +19 small. Opened 14 where I made it, have to take a stand against all this bullshit steam.

looking for 14 on Boise game 131, don't see it getting there.

Sharp all over 133 Ga Southern, so despite me making 134 much higher i have to respect that $ and pass

141 Louisville looking for -4 for small to medium, nothing at current level

Duke 150 -13 medium. Kansass has chances to cover and backdoor me etc, but line should be closer to 20.

Sakerlina +7 -115 medium. I spoke of this somewhere earlier in the week.

163 Minnesota +16.5 -105 small to medium. Just trying to beat the steam, i spoke of this in the steam thread earlier as well. Line opened 8 for chrissakes, i made 12.5, missed the 8 unfortunately.

Stanford 168 -28 small. Made higher, don't like, just trusting my number.

176 Okie St -13 medium to big. Made way higher; respect what Coker is doing but these guys are underrated.

178 LSU -31 medium. Made a touchdown higher; name the score jobber.

183 Navals -9.5 med. Made 14, can't see a scenario where they don't cover if they're focused, and with a bunch of Texans, they should be.

190 Texas UNDER 51 med. How is either team going to score more than 24?

197 N Illinois -10 small. UNLV stinks, should be 14.Vegas road trip for non-con scaring me off for more.

203 Reno +19.5 medium. Arizona good, but Reno underrated and an extra day of prep.

GL...

BOL today Rexy. I got a bad number on Navy 12.5 and tempted to go back for more.

wow..we are on point with what i'm seeing today. GL man..i think you kill it!

gotta see what your thoughts are on ND if u get a second. Thought u were going to dog it

Question Rex. If you had the opportunity to play correlated parlays would you play em? You think they are still profitable? I ask because my local told me he has no problem if I put them in. Thanks buddy

187 New Mexico State +10.5 small to medium. Just taking a price on a game I made a few points lower; sharpest money seems to be on my side.

correlated parlay = a hookup where the two (or more) plays are related to each other.

If you think Texas A&M is going to bet Rice 77-0, you could parlay Texas A&M to the OVER (-31.5, OV 70.5) and the bet is a correlation. Most places have outlawed them and if you find a place that takes them, you're very lucky or your agent is an idiot.

capt - you play two parlays for the game. Favorite and the Over. Then Dog and the Under. You do this if the line is at least 1/3 of the total.

I don't get a correlated parlay lol

If the spread is 1/3 or more of the total, playing the dog and the under, or the fav and the over are 'correlated.' It is very likely that if the favorite covers the spread, the game will go over, and vice versa due to the line being so high in relation to the total.

And with the -31.5 and 70.5 would you guys recommend buying 1/2 pts on either or both spread and total?

both... i did it a few years in a row and overall, its a winning system. My local wont take them anymore and many books wont either

What's do bad about a correlated parlay that books won't accept them?
